You can see the full set of greeting cards here at Foxy Blunt. The set includes my 2 personal favourites. ”Thank you for not buying me a blanket with sleeves”, and “Marriage is Forever – 46% of the time”. If I were a lesbian, the Foxy Blunt gals would be my girlfriends. I discovered them on the big, bad Internet and fell in love with them for their irreverence. I LOVE these cards and have purchased them as a my first contest prize as a thank you for all The Art of Doing Stuff readers who have helped make my first month on-line a lot of fun and a great success.
The winner will be contacted by email, and announced on the site! It’s kind of like having your name in lights, but not at all. And in fact, I must warn you I may curse either before or after your name, just for fun.

I found the Foxy Blunt cards a couple of weeks ago, and I’m just biding my time until the next appropriate (or inappropriate) card-giving opportunity arises. Thanks for the giveaway, Karen! Thank you! That’s very nice to hear. I must admit one month is a bit of a lie. It’s been almost a month and a half. I have issues with exaggeration. It comes from my mother. For instance, she starts to say “Well … I guess summer’s almost over”, before the kids are even out of school yet. Regardless, I’m so glad you and your BF (boyfriend or best friend dunno) read them out loud and laugh. That’s the goal. Oh! And learning stuff too.

I was ridiculing the things about two weeks ago until the guy who sits next to me on my desk “pod” told me he had given one to his wife for her birthday so he didn’t have to have the heating on in the house. Classy.

I love reading your comments. They’re hilarious. I realize that’s mildly “nationalist” of me to say, but I don’t care. Slanket! I love it. I even get a kick out of desk “pod”. So much fun. Use the word “crisps” when referring to chips in your next comment please! It’ll just make my day. And maybe loo. Try and get loo in. But maybe not in the same sentance as crisps. I only need to know so much.

OH man – I have never seen these before and I can’t believe I missed them! I am ALWAYS on the look out for feisty unexpected cards! Probably because I’m not a manic note writer. My mom taught me well. But it took me 26 years (or having a baby shower, baby, wedding and new family to impress all within 2 years?) to come around and now no gift, gesture, high-five goes un-noted! I hope to win these because my huband DID get me a Slanket for christmas which I promptly returned to amamzon.com. So I think it would be funny to give him that card now and show him that they are universally depsised. Although atleast it served a purpose unlike the $50 RapidLash that I got myself as a replacement, which does nothing.
