This is a post for the puzzle people.

We're coming into the final week of pride which was the inspiration for the background here of my flower arrangement from a few weeks ago.

I had no idea how much I'd use this little dinosaur vase. It was one of those things that seemed like a whim, that I'd like for a couple of months and then put it away but a few years into our relationship the dinosaur and I are just getting closer.

Why? Why this relationship with a tyrannosaurus planter? It is the easiest vase to use. Because of the shape of it you almost can't make a mistake displaying flowers in it - they arrange themselves.

It's Kikkerland which generally makes fun but eventually useless stuff. GREAT stocking stuffer supplier if you're already looking by the way.

So if you want the Plantasaurus vase in Canada go here.

Would you like to save this stuff?

We'll email you this post, so you can refer to it later.

If you want the Plantasaurus vase in the US go here.

I got mine at a local florists shop, and you used to be able to buy them on Amazon but now it looks like the best place to buy them is on the official Kikkerland website.

Today's is a fun to put together 56 piece puzzle that I finished in 6:30. The flower arrangement is mine, but the background was not very puzzle friendly - just a swath of blurry beige and white - so I used the dreaded AI to create a brighter more puzzle friendly background.

I must say I think it worked well. Have at it folks.

Have a good weekend. It's currently 14 billion degrees in Southern Ontario but it's cooled down from the past week's average of 20 billion degrees. Once you get that high you really don't even need to distinguish between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

That's hot whether it's measured in imperial, metric or Paris Hiltons.

Thanks - it was fun - who would be expecting a dinosaur?

Fun puzzle - 7:01 this evening for me. I must be low on kale -lol It is similarly approaching the surface temperature of the Sun here in Chicago. Though in fairness, it may be hot, but at least it's humid too.

Today I watched it pour rain out of the window in front of me complete with swirling steam from my roof while out the window to the left of me - nothing. It was hot outside of both windows. ~ karen!

My name is Karen Bertelsen and I was a television host. In Canada. Which means in terms of notoriety and wealth, I was somewhere on par with the manager of a Sunset Tan in Wisconsin.

I quit television to start a blog with the goal that I could make my living through blogging and never have to host a television show again. And it’s worked out. I’m making a living blogging. If you’re curious, this is how I do that.

So I’m doing this in reverse basically. I’m the only blogger who is trying to NOT get a TV show.
