Have a good weekend.
Karen & Cuddles.
Which begs the question… did you artificially color any of them… or are your Easter eggs au naturel?
You tell ’em, Cuddles! Credit where credit is due, right?
Wishing u a happy Easte,too?
Hey Karen You,the Fella, Cuddles and her roommates also have a Blessed and fun filled Easter weekend. Cheers
I busted out laughing….scared the guy in the cubicle next to me ;]
Great pic Karen. Poor Cuddles… Oh the humiliation. I hope she recovers from this. Hoppy Easter. Oh cluck! I bespoke of rabbits.
Crack me up ! Excuse the pun.
Happy Easter, Cuddles… don’t worry, we know you’re the REAL marketing expert behind this whole “Easter bunny” nonsense.
All my eggs are staying au naturel. I have chickens that lay 2 different browns, with one appearing almost pink. Then my 2 easter eggers lay blue and green, although the difference between the 2 is very slight. I want an olive egger which is a chick from a easter egger hen with a copper maran rooster. But so far I can’t find any chicks to buy.
This years new chicks will give me some more new colors. I did buy 2 copper maran hens which give the really intense dark brown eggs. And then I also got hens that will lay white and cream. Then I will have it all about covered.
Ann – I’d love a Maran(s?). Nice looking hen plus the eggs are incredible looking. ~ karen!
Lol Great post. Happy Easter to you and your family!
Happy hoppity weekend. I know I will be doing something I enjoy very much. Curling up with a magazine and a cup of tea. Congrats on your garden make over being featured in Sytle at Home. As soon as I saw the photos I knew it was your garden!
Awww, very cute and true! Happy Easter to all of you!!!
karen and the fella…happy easter to you! xo
Karen I’m not sure if you have noticed, when you first get this email before you click on it you see the chicken with the cleaver below, which led me to believe that you were going to kill it for Easter. Disturbing. lol.
LOL. No I didn’t notice it. I really *do* have to change my email deliver system to something a little more refined. 🙂 ~ karen!
I saw that, too, and thought, oh, poor Cuddles, you are getting the cleaver……
That cleaver is a little intimidating……bloodthirsty?
ain’t that just the way life is? happy Easter to all. thanks for the funny.
Which came first..the chicken or the Easter Bunny? A hoppy weekend to you, the fella, Cleo & Ernie and the girls!
Your chickens make me smile. Thank you for sharing them with us.
LOL! Thanks for the laugh. And Happy Easter to you & all the chickies from Bols who is at work on Easter Friday
Happy Easter to Cuddles.
Thanks Mike! Same to you. ~ karen
Cuddles is a natural. She needs to dress up for all the holidays. Photogentic, modest, and an egg layer what more can you ask for. Well, maybe a day off from egg laying.
The indignity! Of course, chickens usually look indignant. Hence all the clucking.
Happy Easter, Chickens of the world, and thanks for all the yummy eggs!
Hahaha re chicken and cleaver! I know you wouldn’t kill Cuddles Karen! Happy Easter, and to the Fella too! Eat lotsa eggs!
excellent! we’re thinking about getting some chickens…any advice?
I get this question so often Trish that I actually have an entire post devoted to getting chickens coming up in the next week or two. ~ karen!
