Bainbridge Farm Goods Sign Giveaway

Last week I introduced you to one of my latest advertisers, Bainbridge Farm Goods. Now I’d like to tell you a little bit about them. Susan Roth lives on Bainbridge Island in Washington.  It’s a small community that allowed her to live the farm life, while still being close to a huge metropolitan area.

A few years ago Susan wanted cheer up her coop and garden a little bit so she made a couple of signs for them. Then her friends wanted signs.  Then her neighbours wanted signs.  Then friends of neighbours wanted signs.  And so it began.

Since then Susan has created a business out of making cute signs that manage to look modern while maintaining an old fashioned charm.  The perfect combination.

Martha Stewart agrees.  Susan’s Bainbridge Farm Goods signs made Martha Stewart’s “American Made” top 20 list last year.

If you don’t have a chicken coop (and really … how many people do) don’t worry.  Susan has it all covered from horses to dogs to vegetables to sunshine.

My sign says The Chicks in Italian. I think.   Because my chickens are cultured and speak many languages including but not limited to Italian. Whereas I do not.

How you choose to display your sign is up to you.

  1. Nancy L says:

Oh Karen – how to choose??????

I have a German Shepherd dog but don’t see any signs specifically for her breed which would be my first choice. I would love to have any of the signs but if I must pick one, I pick the Fresh Blueberries.

Now it is your turn to choose – please pick me :)

  2. Amy says:

Goats at play in orange. I have loved these signs ever since I saw them in a local chicken store. I had no idea I could get them online or that there were so many. That. Sign would make my goats cuter than they already are, if that is possible.

  3. kathie hogan says:

I LOVE the Pure Local Honey sign- the round one, in coral.
And you are right- the signs are fantastic!

  4. Dixie says:

I will go with Bees at work (square), because I know I can hang it in my kitchen and then put on my bee Haloween costume and work away and this sign would be totally me, my bee costume is a really good one.

  5. Debbie says:

My husband is a dog lover. The crazier the better for him. Who rescues a dog for the THIRD time in her life? When a sane person would be saying “hmmm…maybe this dog is too crazy,,.lets look for one that doesn’t keep getting dumped”? My husband! She’s gone from death row at the humane society and pregnant with pups – to rescue – to bring returned to the rescue shelter – to us. The closest thing I can find to what our boxador looks like is this:

  6. katek says:

Really like the u pick strawberry sign in the blue color. Also really liked the eggs signs, but we get our eggs from the grocery store!

  7. Janet says:

I like the Fresh Eggs sign, 12 by 18, blue pastel. Thanks for showing us this website!

  8. Phyllis says:

I really like the “Welcome to The Pumpkin Patch” sign. But then they are all pretty

  9. Mary says:

I think the “A rescue dog is my best friend” is the bee’s knees :)

  10. Elaine says:

I like the rescue dogs sign but my favourite is the Fresh squeezed lemonade. It is such a bright and cheerful sign. A happy sign.

  11. Candice says:

Pure Local Honey – Blue … perfect! I was looking for just that!!

  12. Clara says:

I like the 12″ round, Fresh Eggs From Happy Chickens, yellow with the black chicken on it.

  13. Anita says:

    Be the Black Sheep

    Love it!

  14. Bonnie G. says:

May because it’s the season but I am partial to Pumpkin Patch – very cute! Thanks for hosting the give away.

  15. Patti says:

But then again could she do a sign for my beheaded rattler? Scary bastard that terrorized my SC neighborhood?!!? I still can’t walk out my door without fear … I know, I’m a wuzzy.

  16. Lauren says:

9×12 Goats at Play. I live in the city but one day – one sweet day – I will own goats.

  17. Jane says:

I don’t have a chicken coop, but my best friend does and she named one of her hens after me. So was thinking she would love the apple green 12×18 one that says fresh eggs from happy chickens for her birthday….love all of her cute signs!

  18. Patti says:

My favorite … Rescue dog is my best friend followed close by I love my Dachshund! Both true!

  19. Linda J Howes says:

Tough decision. its a toss up between the Fresh Eggs For Sale Sign 12” x 9” Retro and the same sign Fresh Eggs For Sale Sign 18” x 12” in Red or the Moda Polo Sign 9” x 12” Polka Dot.

  20. jezz says:

All of Susan’s signs are so charming! My favorite is the large Be the Black Sheep.

  21. Donna says:

Love the fresh eggs in pastel blue with the black chicken. Looks like our Rosie!

  22. Dawn says:

I love the Farm Fresh Vegetables signs.

  23. Denise says:

Just love the fresh organic vegetables…love the pumpkin patch one too, but I’d be afraid someone would come and pick all my pumpkins ;-)

  24. JennyW says:

Luve the Fall, Luve Pumpkins – The U-Pick Pumpkin sign it is :)

  25. Jenny says:

Happy Home of a Boston Terrier.

Because I’m one of those crazy Boston Terrier ladies who knows no limit to how much BT crap she is willing to collect.

    It’s an illness, really.

  26. Meg says:

I would love the farm fresh blueberry sign for my kitchen. We eat blueberries EVERY DAY with honey, almonds and Greek yogurt. As a result, my husband and I are able to leap tall buildings and commune with animals. Blueberries ROCK!

  27. Brenda says:

I like the beach blue “Fresh Flowers” sign. The colors match my craft room. (I like the other signs, too, but I have no horse, chicken, nor rescue dog and alas, there was no American Bulldog sign.)

  28. Denise Leavens says:

The Pure Local Honey Sign in Blue would be my choice. My best friend and her husband have become bee farmers. She and I became friends before entering the first grade. My favorite color was pink (WAS) and hers was blue. Thus a blue bee sign!

  29. Susan R says:

I didn’t see one for “Home of a slew of lazy-ass cats”. Most appropriate for my house.

  30. Susan R says:

Love the “Fresh organic vegetables”. These are really charming!
    Thank you, ladies!

  31. Jennifer says:

I would love the Fresh Organic Vegetables sign!

  32. Rhonda SmartyPants says:

I would love to win the “Happy Home of A Shelter Dog” because I would give it to my daughter, Samantha, who volunteers every weekend at our county animal shelter to walk the dogs, ease their trauma from being sheltered, take them to outreach adoption events and otherwise just let them know that someone cares about them. I bet she would donate the sign for a fund raising opportunity or include it as a surprise for a family adopting one of the shelter dogs. I love her so and you would, too.

  33. Patricia says:

Where are the signs for cats….did I miss something? Wilma and Rose are feeling left out!

  34. Karen says:

    I love the mutt sign

  35. Peg says:

Happy Home of a Rescue Dog Sign ~Chocolate is a winner since i have a great rescue “Jaxon”. But the black sheep is pretty darn cute. hmmmmm………

  36. Maureen says:

Fresh eggs in turquoise is my choice. Pick me, pick me. I will bribe your chickens with strawberries to pick me!

  37. shauna says:

Sweet and juicy blackberries SKU: S1812036
I’m a failure as a ‘farmher’ but I pick a mean blackberry out here on the wet west coast.

  38. Jantine says:

Oh, now I’ve spend some time drooling over my laptop, while I looked at her signs!
I’d love to win this one:

  39. Catherine minerich says:

I love the “farm fresh vegetables” sign in white or black! Thank you!

  40. Kathy Hartzell says:

Fresh organic vegetables, of course! That’s what we’re full of!!!

    Love my veggies!!

  41. dana says:

What cute signs! I actually made notes of my faves then took forever to narrow it down. I love the Fresh Eggs one with the black chicken. Its skuS1218011 in blue pastel. Btw any idea where I would call to find out if we are allowed to have chickens in our area?

  42. Lesley c says:

I’m digging the turquoise heirloom tomato sign. Although I live in California, my garden efforts were not nearly as successful as yours. Tomatoes are one of the few crops with with which we’ve had success.

  43. CarlyMae says:

I like all of the rescue dog signs! Any chance she could custom make one that says “love like a rescue dog”? No? Ok, then the home of a rescue will suffice…

  44. Well, I fell hard for the pulcini Italian chicken sign, but I only have a dog and the family wouldn’t like it if I called him Italian chicken names. So I’d go with the Fresh Flowers sign in cocoa and pink.

  45. Melanie says:

I like the “Be the Black Sheep” sign – it’s so cute!

  46. motherhen says:

I have the “Poulet Chalet” chicken coop which was included in your reader’s coops post. I am thinking the ‘Les Poules Sign 18” x 12” Chocolate’ would be a nice addition to the outdoor decor of the ‘chalet’!

  47. Marti says:

Since there doesn’t seem to be about the charms of bad housekeeping and stacks of laundry, I would guess it comes down to the black and white “eggs” one, except… I don’t like eggs… I like chickens (and you know what I like about chickens!)… but the round red local honey is very cool.

Do you think she’d paint that in black and white or yellow maybe, if I somehow were to win? I did already get one of your very swank tea towels. These questions… keeping me up at nigzzzzzz..

  48. Elise says:

My co-worker Mary would LOVE the “home is where your horse is” — she is a true cowgirl. It would make an awesome Christmas gift!

  49. kate-v says:

I like the Fleur du Soleil sign – and it would go with the sunflowers~

    • Ms Mathieu says:

I LOVE them all !!! but I think I would choose The Pumpkin Patch since it is Fall and it would look awesome for in my Thanksgiving venue .
