And a Betty update. If you read yesterday's post you know it's been a smelling salts kind of week. So not a lot of talk today, just an easy 48 piece puzzle. And this random photo from this week.

Here's yesterday's post if you missed it.
Betty had a random bout of not feeling well again this afternoon, but just for a bit. It seems as though it may have been a side effect of the Paxlovid along with the awful metallic taste.
And in case you're interested in other real life Covid cases, my sister has lost her ability to taste and smell but otherwise feels pretty much fine.
She's eating and upright and running around like normal.
I made the suggestion that since she can't taste anything she might as well just eat handfuls of hard dry pasta. That's a lot of time she could save in the day by not cooking it. 7-11 minutes depending on which package you bought.
Both myself and my other sister are still healthy and fine. I can probably stop counting the days since I've been in contact with one of our Coviddys soon.
Wednesday I was in my mother's ick splattered home to bring her the soup and crackers and explain how to take her medication but I was double masked and also held my breath for 13 minutes.
If there are any other "fun" kind of things you'd like to wake up to on a Saturday morning let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Crosswords? Wordfinds with inappropriate words? Homework assignments? I used to give homework assignments out all the time. Things like challenging you to compliment someone you don't know today. Or cleaning out your freezer.
And you did it. I was shocked.
I liked giving out homework and seeing everyone do it. I felt like a cult leader.
Have a good weekend!

Get well wishes to all! Not only Betty and Sis but to all the readers who are caring for sick family, too.
Last year was my first attempt at growing dahlias - and was a pretty pathetic effort
This year's attempt yielded three stunning successes - which has inflated my hopes for next year! Karen, you're the one who inspired me to grow dahlias.
What a beautiful flower arrangement you've shown us - LOVE your house !
Hope all's well in your family now!!! As far as choices for the future, I'm partial to the wordfind with inappropriate words! And yes, I have the body of a 68-year old but the mindset of a 10-year old! 🤣
Yikes, don't say cult leader to your American readers, they get giddy...
OMG thought I was putting together a puzzle of a bear in the wilderness - but it was the LIPster!
Oh yeah!
I love your lady painting and the dahlias - - and did NOT notice the dust til you pointed it out! (But I am not a prticular housekeeper!)
Nope, didn't notice any dust. Just your beautiful orange dahlias popping against the dark background. So pretty!
