Egg Yolks 3

So?  There’s one on the left, and one on the right.  Which is which?

One egg is a 100% organic, free range egg from a grocery store.

I have to agree with the majority and say the one on the left is from the coop–the color of the yolk, the height and stiffness of the albumen. It looks fresher. It looks like the delicious eggs I used to get from the chickens I used to have.

Left – you can tell by the color of the yolk

That bright orange yolk is a good indication your ladies are getting some good bugs in their diet (at least, that is what I am told).

Left is yours. Yolk looks tight and the yolk deep golden colour which means good varied feed. That’s what we get when buying Legbar eggs here, or are lucky to get from our cousins who have loadsa chicken. 🙂
