Scaling Back

I have in my hands at this very moment something that may be considered one of the most valuable items in the world.

O.K. it’s not really in my hands, that’s just a turn of phrase.  If it were in my hands right now I wouldn’t be able to type.  Unless the item in question was my laptop.  Which it isn’t.

No.  It’s not plutonium.

No.  It’s not uranium.

No.  It’s not a line dancing leprechaun that throws up money every time your boyfriend toots.

It’s something far more valuable than any of those things.

I have to get rid of it because I got a new one, but my sister insists people would pay good money for it so I’m considering selling it instead of just trashing it.  I haven’t decided yet.

This particular item is gleaming white accented with bits of sparkling chrome.  It goes from 0 – 300 in about half a second.

It’s a very slick machine.

It’s a scale that weighs 5 pounds light.  All the time.

I’ll let you know if I decide to start taking bids.

AWESOME. If you get a scale in Europe in kilograms, it divides your weight approximately in two. Can’t wait ’til the U.S. switches to the metric system.

Ohhhh look at that, your scale measures in pounds and in kilograms. Happy days!

  7. Bill Grigg says:

If you can get it to read consistently 25 lbs light, I bid $100!

  8. taria says:
