The Great Gargantuan Giftmas Giveaway. 2015.

title-2   Quiz time.  Finish this sentence … ‘Tis the season to:

a) be jolly

b) head to the hospital due to unfortunate sparkle incident

c) pretend your sweaty Uncle Charlie doesn’t gross you out at the family Christmas party

d) win free stuff

Ding Ding Ding if you guessed all of the above, even though it wasn’t an official answer.

Be jolly folks!   I’m about to divert your attention from the sparkle that’s been embedded in your cornea since November 12th because it’s time for The Great Gargantuan Giftmas Giveaway!  Gifts just for you!  Just in time for Christmas and Chanukah! None of which you have to share with any relatives.  Sweaty or not.  Although you can if you’re a giving sort of person.

This year my sponsors and I are giving away over  $1,000 worth of gifts.  There are 10 gifts in total.  But things are going to be a little bit different this year.  Instead of one person winning e v e r y t h i n g, I’m going to pick 5 winners, who will get to pick 2 gifts each. The first name drawn gets the first choice of 2 gifts.  The second winner then gets to pick the 2 gifts from the remaining prizes that they’d like.   And so on down the list until I draw the last of the 5 winners.

Here’s what we’re giving away this year.

cake-stand-cattails

Turned Walnut cake stand from Cattails Studio valued at $225.

Take a look at her other cake stands right now because I’m sure Brenda from Cattails would let you have your choice.

Greymount-cards

85 greeting cards, stationary sets and art prints from Greymount Paper & Press are Valued at $192.

That’s right 85!  Christmas cards, Chanukah cards, blank cards, all your card giving needs met right here.  Practically Greymount Paper & Press’ entire stationary collection and they’re all completely charming.

  cubits-seeds

Seed of the Month Subscription from Cubits … X2! valued at $190.

You know how I was saying you could keep the prize for yourself and didn’t have to share it with any sweaty relatives?  Well Laura from Cubits anticipated people would both want to keep their gift AND give it away.  So she’s giving away 2 seed of the month subscriptions.  One for you to keep and one to give away. So smart. Click on the link to see what seeds you’ll be getting.

ellenoire

$175 worth of indulgences JUST for you from Ellenoire.  Noelle is giving away $75 worth of body products and a $100 gift certificate for her store.  May I recommend you put some of that towards one of my favourite products from her store, the Aquis Hair towel.

          tea-towels-diamond-dust

6 embroidered tea towels of your choice from Diamond Dust Studio. $120 value.

This one above is one of my favourites but take a look and pick out which ones you like.

lee-valley

Here we go! A $120 gift certifcate to Lee Valley.

I’d go for the cooking package

1 mixing bowl, 2 Danish dough whisks (great for any sticky dough), 1 butter measuring guide and 1 rasp (the best tool ever for grating citrus zest or parmesan cheese) – total value $120.  But feel to browse.

lab-perfume

L’absolu by Narciso Rodriguez from Lab Consignment. Value $105.

The gift you rarely buy for yourself.  Perfume.  A base of musk with hints of floral and soft amber.

  necklace-crafty-little-gnome

$100 gift certificate to Crafty Little Gnome jewelry.  Adrienne makes a ton of different stuff but when I was browsing her Etsy shop I stopped dead when I came to this Geode necklace. It would be MY pick.  Plus you’d still have money left over for more!

    rough-linen-stocking

Stuffed Stocking from Rough Linen.  Tricia from Rough Linen has put together a package of a linen stocking, a hand towel, a set of cocktail napkins and a small linen satchel filled with lavender.

My sheets, duvet cover, aprons and curtains are all Rough Linen. I cannot overstate my insane level of love for this stuff.

    wool-dryer-balls

$100 gift certificate for Wool Dryer Balls from Clean Sypria.

My choice would be these limited edition “Van Gogh” messy palette ones. I LOVE them.  They’d make me feel artsy.

I will be announcing the 5 winners on Friday.  Contest closes on Wednesday at midnight.

I know Wednesday at midnight confuses people.  Does she mean Wednesday?  Or Thursday?  Or Tuesday even maybe?  Wednesday at midnight means if you go to work on Wednesday then come home, and eat dinner at around 7 p.m., then watch a bit of television, you’ll have a couple of more hours to enter the contest.  Once you have a late night snack, brush your teeth and get into bed it will be close to midnight and the contest will soon be closing.  So.  Wednesday at midnight.

To enter just click on one of my sponsors above and have a bit of a browse around.  Maybe make a few notes for Christmas gifts that you still need to get. THEN come back here and tell me you would like to win!

Sorry! This contest is now closed for entries.

Pin it, Tweet it, Facebook it.   Winners will be chosen randomly by some weird computer software I have.  Good luck.

  1. Cathy Bernard says:

Golly – how delightful! I browsed a bit but you had me at the Castile Studio walnut cake stand, what a beauty.

  2. Becky says:

The geode necklace for me, but her message in a bottle for my daughter.

    and that cake stand.. swoon.

The seeds I could share with my Dad who is FINALLY getting into gardening.

Karen, you always make it so hard to choose!!!

  3. Sue says:

Rough Linen is the only place to buy linen bedding!! Exquisite…and it would be wonderful to win that stocking? And Lee Valley is the BEST…I’ve still got catalogues from years ago!!!

  4. Sarah says:

AAaaaah!!!! Everything is so great! What a tough choice for whomever gets picked first. If I had to choose, it would be between the Cubit’s seeds (one for me; one for my sweet neighbor who ALWAYS drags our trash and recycling bins back up to the house), the cake stand (even though I don’t like baking…. it’s just so dern pretty), the perfume (b/c I never, ever buy perfume), and the Lee Valley gift card (I’d pick something for me and some tools for my husband). Fingers crossed!

  5. Erica J. says:

I just got lost looking through the Lee Valley catalogue. And that was only after getting lost in the land of beautiful jewelry at the Crafty Little Gnome’s Etsy shop. Tough choices but you’ve got my ideas flowing for Christmas presents. It’s going to be a fun year for shopping!

  6. Missnicoleo says:

The cubit’s subscription if we can ever afford a house in Vancouver!!!!

  7. Jean in BC says:

Love everything! I would have to start with Rough Linen, or Cattails Woodwork, or Cubits, or…

  8. Sue Burroughs says:

I would love some of the items from Ellinoire: The Lavender products, the Aquis Body towel, and I think regardless of whether I win or not, I just gave my husband a stocking stuffer idea – the “No Snore Aromatherapy tin”.
The Lee Valley gift certificate is high on my wish list as well. I love getting their newsletters, but I haven’t ordered from them yet.
And, last, but certainly not least, I drool over “Rough Linen’s” products but haven’t been able to talk myself into paying the price for their amazing bedding.
    Thanks for this great opportunity!

  9. caryl hodgdon says:

Wow it was a gift just browsing through your sponsors goods. I don’t know how the winners will be able to choose but God let me be one of them!

  10. Linda says:

I would love the gift shown from Lee Valley or just about anything from Cattails…french rolling pin would be my favorite.

  11. Tyler Lane says:

Oh, I’ve been dying to get my hands on some rough linen (literally) to see what the sheets and bedding would feel like, but my rolling pin from cattails could use a companion cake stand as well! Decisions, decisions…

  12. Jodie says:

So many luscious things!! I got lost in Lee valley… That languiole knife..yum. The geode necklace from cratfy gnome! ALL the wooden goodness of cattails studio! Rough linen….mmmm le purrrrrrrr. Please pick me I want to have trouble deciding!!! Pretty please?!??

  13. Janice says:

The geode necklace would answer my inn yearning for the best of two worlds.. Nerdy science and sparkly jewelry

  14. Ana says:

I gasped as soon as I saw the Narciso Rodriguez perfume. I was just given a tiny sample of it and love it. I tried to find it TODAY even. So I’d definitely go for that, and for my second choice, the Lee Valley giveaway. So many fun things to consider… would I get Grampa’s pumpkin carving kit?? Or that lovely mixing bowl that is flat on one side? Or touch-sensitive christmas lights!!??

$100 worth of Ellenoire bath bombs isn’t a bad idea either but I’d have to tele-commute from my tub! I’d never leave.

Thanks for the giveaway Karen, so many lovely things to dream about.

  15. Bev says:

I too got lost in the Lee Valley catalogue. So many delightful, unusual items. But would love a beginner carving set for sure. What fantastic giveaways!

  16. Sandra says:

No question – I’m addicted to Lee Valley 😉 They are carrying some nice items now to make packing for a flight easier, and we are celebrating a big milestone with a trip in our future. I also find the necklaces from Crafty Little Gnome quite stunning.

  17. Dana says:

I love the gift cards. And the cake stand. And the seeds from Cubits (I’ve grown their tomatoes, yum!) So many amazing things!

  18. Angie says:

It would be a very hard pick but Cattails does have lovely items and that cake stand is *gorgeous*.

Also, I’m with you on the kitchen stuff from Lee valley! Cake & cookie scoops would be first on my list 🙂

  19. Lesley says:

Oh, such beautiful stuff. If I had my druthers it’d be the Lee Valley gift certificate – because my friend Pat and I have a date to hit Lee Valley this coming Wednesday. It’ll be a first for me. It’ll be an adventure because if I drive Pat will explain to me for the entire trip how we’d be moving faster, or in the other lane, or already there if she was driving. If Pat drives I’ll be clutching the dashboard and muffling my shrieks because Pat is 80 and her driving terrifies me. Also, to be fair, I have control issues. My second choice would be that spectacular cake stand. I don’t make many cakes (cuz I’d just eat ’em) but I have all sorts of other ideas for what to display on it – candles and stones and pine cones and cheese and crackers ….. Good luck, everyone!

  20. Emily says:

I would love anything from Ellenoire or the Cattails cutting boards!!

  21. Stephanie Barnhart says:

All of these are so great! I think my favorites are the cake stand, cards, and rough linen stocking.

  22. Lindsay H says:

Cattails Studio caught my eye.. Not just because they were the first sponsor, but because I’ve been aching for a cake stand. ACHING, I tell you. But Greymount and Cubits were close runners-up. And also two and three on your list, respectively. Damnit. Uhh.

  23. Turbocharger says:

Omg, Lee Valley?! All of the things I never knew I needed, but now that I know, my life is incomplete without them.

  24. TucsonPatty says:

The Lee Valley catalog just hooked me right in, and regardless of anything else, I think there will be some more looking, and maybe some ordering…it was just too fun – all 60 pages. The French Rolling pin has always facinated me – I just made my famous Cherry Pie this morning for our friends early Thanksgiving dinner and could have used it! The Tea Towels from Diamond Dust look very interesting. And the dryer balls from Clean Spyria are tumbling away in my dryer at this very minute! I love them!
Good luck to the winners! Thank you to all the lovely advertisers and to you for sponsoring this Great Gargantuan Giftmas Giveaway for all your readers.
Off to the laundry – the dryer balls are calling my name!

  25. Paula says:

The last notification email I got was Nov 16th – do I need to re-register with the new site?

    • Karen says:

No, no Paula. For some reason the post didn’t publish at the right time and therefore didn’t get sent out by email for some reason. I’ve fiddled with it and the post should be emailed out to all subscribers by 9:00 a.m. 🙂 You should however have received an email on the 18th and 20th Check your trash or spam folder~ karen!

  26. Paula says:

I forgot the gift part 🙂 Seeds! Definitely seeds and I love the tea towels and the cake stand. I just can’t choose ‘one’. I would be happy to win one package of seeds, lol.

  27. Deborah Rokos says:

Great giveaway gifts! I’ll take any of them!

  28. Jeannette says:

Oh, my! What a wonderful giveaway! It’s so difficult to choose just one thing; I’d be thrilled to win any. I guess my favorites would be Lee Valley, a beautiful Cattails Studio cake stand, the Rough Linen stocking bundle, and the Sweet Sypria dryer balls (they really do work!).

  29. Grammy says:

I so love the things I got from Rough Linen after finding them here on your site, and having ordered a couple of other things from your ads, I trust you and your advertisers. Such lovely stuff for the giveaway might make it difficult for some to decide, but I have lusted after the beautiful woodwork at Cattails Studio and the exquisite tea towels at Diamond Dust Studio for so long now that I would probably choose those just to stop drooling. Then again, there are new things here and now I’m going to be thinking about those, too. As for Lee Valley, if there is a Heaven, I expect it would be Lee Valley and all of the people who come to your place would be there.

  30. Charlsie says:

Of course Cattails and Rough Linen are great. Diamond Dust is a Texas girl like me, love that vintage squirrel. But I gotta go with the balls. I want sented balls for Christmas. Pick me weird computer software.. Pick me.

  31. Elise Collins says:

The cake stand is gorgeous and lee valley has amazing things as well!

  32. Kristin S. says:

I would love to win any of these, but I’ve been loving Diamond Dust Studios ever since you posted the embroidered skull tea towel months ago!

  33. Diane says:

Lee Valley: I’d love to get the whittling set, the pocket chainsaw (because real ones scare me), fill in any gaps with the LED carabiner lights… or maybe I want the food dehydrator… and the safety edge can opener…

  34. Kara says:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

I’d love the Cattails cake stand. Or the linen. Or the necklace. Or the Lee Valley card. Or the…. Obviously if I win I’ll have to get a random number generator first, just to choose!

  35. Nicole says:

I’d choose the cattails cake stand but then I would really need to renovate my kitchen. (It’s reasonable to renovate around a cake stand, no?). My other top pick would be cubits so I could amp up my gardening. Of course I’m already planning on buying some lee valley and maybe some dryer balls for Christmas and all of your sponsors have just wonderful things.

  36. guada says:

Man, I love everything! But those cakestands…!!! And of course I would need some intruments to make the cakes (thanks Lee Valley)!

  37. Catherine S says:

    So much eye candy!

The walnut cake stand from Cattails Studio makes one swoon. I would have to keep one for myself but need to order one or two for wedding gifts.

The Sypria dryer balls are intriguing, I think I should be those on my must have list.

Lee Valley is a staple in our household, we order a few times each year.

  38. Amanda says:

oh my gosh I IMMEDIATELY thought of a friend who would adore those quirky greeting cards! Also the ellënoire store is heaven – I want EVERYTHING.

  39. valerie says:

    the cake stand – WOW!

  40. Jan says:

I’m mad about the fine woodworking at Cattails Woodworking – I’d be pleased as punch to recieve any of her work – I’ve been thinking about buying one of the French rolling pins for a while. I really like those cards produced by Graymount Press, too. Those Bibliophile cards would be perfect for many of my friends. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  41. Farquist says:

I’ve purchased from Cattails Studio before and that would be my number one destination. Such beautiful things. Anything Lee Valley is a bonus.

  42. Emi says:

Any of those choices would make me so happy!
I’m starting gardening next summer so the seeds would be amazing, so would the Lee Valley gift card. I’m crazy about baking so the cake stand would be great too.
But the most awesome gift would be the Crafty Little Gnome jewelry. My mom loves original jewellery and she’s been such a big help since I bought my first home last year that she would get spoiled! But she might get something from Crafty Little gnome anyway since she is so hard to shop for at Christmas and you just gave me the idea for her gift this year!

  43. pamela ross says:

I love the cake stand from Cattails Studio, a studio located in my home province.

  44. Amy says:

Right now I am thinking rough linen but I reserve the option to change my mind!

  45. Maura says:

So many choices… I love the Acorn collection at Cattails and Pinafore and apron at Rough Linen.

  46. Bridget P. says:

I love the rough linen set and the ellenoire set! Great prizes!

  47. Jenny W says:

    Gifts galore, for everyone!
Who am I kidding, they would be for me 🙂
Lee Valley, because it’s like looking through a giant toy box, and Crafty Little Gnome because I can’t resist the sparkle!

  48. Ellen H. says:

That Walnut turned cakestand is a piece of art on its own, wow! And I’ve never owned a cakestand before!
Cubits…. SEEDS, must have and share! It’s in my DNA, several generations of farmers and gardeners.
Then there’s Lee Valley, gah…so many useful gadgets and thingamajigs!
    Giggles with Delight!

  49. Roxane Dunmore says:

Oh my! Will have to share your link on FB to give my family gift ideas for me!

  50. Kiara says:

The cake stand, anything from Lee Valley (my heart! I’ll be going there for Christmas for SURE this season)…that cooking package is right up my alley. What a beautiful bowl.

  51. Kelly says:

I don’t know what I would pick! I love the walnut turned cake stand, the perfume, the Lee Valley gift certs, and the wool dryer balls… too much to choose from!

  52. Kim says:

They are all so lovely. I would have to say the cake stand and the rough linen set.

  53. Marie Anne says:

Love everything, but especially the wood items from Cattails studio, and anything from Lee Valley. The Cattails cake stand is gorgeous, and so are the cutting boards (one of my obsessions) rolling pins and door stops. I haven’t really started my Christmas shopping yet…but I’m pondering a food / kitchen theme. Lots of great items here… Thanks!

  54. Ann says:

I would go for the cake stand and the Lee Valley gift certificate. Such great and unusual vendors you have. Refreshing after seeing many bloggers go after the common and mundane. But we would never expect any less from you, would we? It has been years since I have received a holiday gift. Maybe this year I can win one for myself, LOL. Before you feel too sorry for me, I have everything I need in this world, except maybe for a beautiful wooden cake stand, and I tell everybody to forgo buying me a present. And they listen, darn it.

  55. Patti says:

I’d just love anything from Rough Linen, and that cake stand is to die for. I love the notecards, too! And I’d share the seed subscription with my mom. Really, I’d love to win any of the prizes!

  56. Dijana says:

I really enjoyed browsing the Lee Valley catalogue!

As for what I would want from the gifts above – tough choice – maybe the cake stand…or the lee valley gift card….or the linens…..ok I can’t decide..don’t make me.

  57. Carla says:

I want the walnut cake stand, which is silly because I have no room for it, but it’s sooooo pretty. I also want the Cubit’s seed…except the eggplant. That I would have to give away…

  58. Nicole says:

The seed subscription. I really want this to be the year I start growing stuff, I haven’t made that one happen yet.

  59. Jane S says:

Lee Valley is always a Christmas choice for my family.

  60. Sabrina says:

I would like the cake stand and the hand towels. Design still to be finalized but the frog and butterfly ones are pulling strong.

  61. Briony says:

So many great gift ideas! I’ll definitely be checking out Lee Valley for my sister in law, and the cubits subscription would be great for my oldest friend. But I would keep that cake stand for myself! Gorgeous.

  62. Dawn says:

Too many different things to choose from! I’d love the geodes or any of the kids toys from Lee Valley!

  63. Janet says:

That cake stand though. And did you see the flame birch cutting block on Cattails Woodwork? Be still, my beating heart!

  64. Beckie says:

Cubit’s, for sure! I garden and I have a friend who gardens as well. And of course, Lee Valley…need shovels and rakes and whatnots when you garden =) I am already planning to buy new clippers from LV this coming season, and extra few $$ would make those really Nice Clippers =)

    Thanks Karen (and sponsors)

  65. leisa says:

I’m drooling over the cubits seeds. Oh– and the wood turned cake plate.

  66. Amy Boulle says:

That necklace…wow. And anything from Cattail, I love everything on that site.

  67. Cathy W says:

It would be so hard to choose! but the geode necklace was beautiful! Definitely to keep and not to gift away, thanks for the chance.

  68. Phyllis says:

I would pick Lee Valley. I love them

  69. mbaker says:

Clever girl, Karen. Even if I’m not picked I may have to purchase a gift or twelve from your sponsors after seeing their sites. If I were to win it’d be a three way tie between Greymount Paper, Crafty Little Gnome, and Diamond Dust Studios. The little squirrel tea towel just speaks to me as does CLG’s black lace necklace and who wouldn’t want to receive that cat Christmas card?

  70. Traci says:

Everything is so beautiful!! That cake stand makes me wish I baked and I LOVE perfumes!!! The seeds would be cool too because I have space for a garden and need to get back to it. Oh! And the cards!! And the tea towels!! And the….everything!!! Yep, waaaayyyy too excited!

  71. Carol says:

I love everything on Crafty Little Gnome!! I love rocks! The lace earrings are adorable also!

  72. DOROTHY GARDNER says:

I loved browsing the Lee Valley site, but that Cattails Cake stand is beautiful!

  73. cbblue says:

I loved Lee Valley even before I knew you were associated with them. That cake stand would force me to bake a cake; or a cake-shaped meatloaf.

  74. Charlene says:

The cake stand for sure and the dryer balls or perhaps the perfume, or Lee Valley….. This is a fine rabbit hole you have tossed me down!

  75. Kathy says:

Anything Lee Valley (maybe even the spiralizer), Rough Linen, my daughter would like dryer balls, a gift from Cattails, embroidered tea towels, smelly soaps…it all looks lovely.

  76. LIz Heath says:

I love the cake stand and the items from Rough Linen look great. I like it all !
    Thanks!

  77. Holly Ellis says:

Everything offered by your sponsors is so beautiful. I love it all!

  78. Rachel says:

All too beautiful I wish could enter where I live. Love the tea towels. Hope the lucky winners enjoy!

  79. Carolyn says:

    Oooh! How exciting!
I would love and cherish one of those beautiful cake stands. It would get a prime showing location in my house. Plus, it would be a great excuse to make (or buy) cakes and pastries to use it!!

I’m also really into the skull pattern tea towels.
Or the wool dryer balls. I didn’t know they existed and now I just know I must have them! 😉
    Love, love, love.

  80. Su says:

truly, lovely things…. if I was fortunate to be picked I would be so happy with any of the items…. even the wool balls, which I already have, cause I could gift them to one of my family 🙂

  81. Becky says:

I LOVE the walnut cake stand…..and everything else…..but especially the walnut cake stand!

  82. Heather says:

Swoon. That walnut cake stand from Cattails! And all those lovely cards from Greymount Press. I have that zester from Lee Valley & I agree, it’s the best! Who couldn’t find something to buy from Lee Valley. Pick me! You’ve outdone yourself this year.

  83. marilyn says:

oh everything, but the wooden mason jar lids??please!! and the hair towels for my daughters and the map jigsaw puzzle from lee valley..well really anything from lee valley and the owl tea towel and the curtains from rough linen..oh yeah

  84. Kathy Wright says:

Love Lee Valley. And that cake stand.

  85. Leah C says:

What a fantastic giveaway! I’d love to shop at Ellenoire and Lee Valley Hardware. I got especially excited over the metal measuring cups and spoons at Lee Valley; they’re exactly what I’ve been wanting!

  86. Peggy says:

Oh My! The Rough Linen looks fabulous. Love love love Lee Valley as well.

  87. Brandi says:

Since I plan to get back into gardening next year, I would love that Cubit’s Seed of the Month Club package.

  88. Deb G says:

Every possible prize so lovely…would count myself lucky to receive any one of them! Love that the card package also includes frameable prints!

  89. Shelley says:

I never thought I’d need a cake stand in my life, but the cattails stand is appealing to me. I do like the looks of some of the geode jewelry too. She has a orange and amethyst one I quite like. I LOVE linen, but have my own linen business so… I could use some new kitchen and/or gardening tools from lee valley though.
Lots of great choices, I hope I DO have to choose in the end though 😉

  90. Sheryl says:

I would love to have the Rough Linen stocking as well as the Lee Valley gift certificate to purchase the melamine mixing bowls.

  91. MelissaM says:

Oy, I think the Lee Valley, but I have a Danish dough hook so would probably go for the gardner’s wash basket and some hand tools (can’t have enough garden hand tools.) But then, those bowls you pictured (the Mason Cash mixing bowls) are lovely, too!

Very tough decision! (The embroidered towels are covet-worthy, but I’m afraid I would never actually *use* them because, you know, wouldn’t want to ruin them.)

  92. Liz M says:

The cake stand and the seed-of-the-month subscription would be my choices. And I wouldn’t share them with anybody. 😉

  93. Amy says:

Love that cake stand! And the note cards! Actually love them all 🙂

  94. Betsy says:

Have always wanted wool dryer balls.

  95. Pam says:

Woah!! So many fantastic things! I love that you’ve changed it from one gargantually lucky winner to five semi-gargantually luck winners. If I was among ‘the chosen’ I’d be happy with any of the gifts (though I have no outdoor space so I’d have to give both Cubits subscriptions away…dang it!) but would LOVE that geode necklace and about a million thngs from Lee Valley.

  96. What a beautiful collection of products. I love everything Brenda makes. Her new cake stands are absolutely gorgeous! (And I love her new website!) I’m a big Lee Valley fan and also would be very happy with some Cubits seeds for my vegetable garden. Fingers crossed.

  97. Jenifer says:

This is a tough one!! Love the cake stand but who wouldn’t want a subscription to the seeds?? And Lee Valley is definitely at the top of the list because they have so much that I NEED. But then there’s Crafty Little Gnome jewelry…and that is something I probably wouldn’t buy for myself…oh, who are we kidding, I totally would! It’s gorgeous and one-of-a-kind and so unique! (I love the one with the skeleton key, too! So there’s that one…and the seeds…or maybe Lee Valley…OK, don’t worry, I will decide by the time I win. 🙂

  98. Mark says:

    I would pick Lee Valley.

I love their spice jar measuring spoons – really solid and fit in spice jars, and they are great gifts.

    Necklace and seeds. Perfect Gift.

  100. Susan De Masi says:

The cake stand is a work of art with or without a cake on it-that’s the one for me!

  101. Teri says:

Lee Valley, all the way. you had me at the mixing bowl. I have my Grandmother’s bowl like this, and have been worried about all the little cracks that are developing due to – well, years of cookies! and I have yearned for those bread wisks….

  102. Lisa says:

Hands down I would want to win the cake stand! It’s gorgeous!!

  103. Marianne Petroff says:

Love, Love, Love the Diamond Dust embroidered Linen tea towels.
The skulls any skull would be my Xmas wish.

  104. Myra says:

I love the ivory lace necklaces from Crafty Little Gnome! So delicate and beautiful! Also, the butterfly jewellery is lovely too.

  105. Barbara says:

Wow, Karen. You sure made this hard. I’ll take one of each, please. I just love them all but would probably choose from Cattails Woodwork and Cubit’s. Thank you to you and your sponsors.

  106. Rebecca says:

Anything from Lee Valley and Cubit’s!

  107. Debby says:

I think my fruit cake would look lovely on that cake stand, so I am going to start making it now……
    Fingers crossed

  108. I’ll take one of each, please.

    Thank you.

  109. Karin says:

I would LOVE anything from Cattails Studio and Ellenoire.

    Good luck everyone!

  110. Terry DiVincenzo says:

Everything is great which will make choosing a few difficult.
    Happy holiday’s!

  111. Jenny says:

That cake stand is to die for, for real! Lee Valley is a close second, though. ^_^

  112. Tara says:

I absolutely love the cards from Greymount Paper and Press, but the walnut cake stand is calling me too!

  113. Janet says:

So many great things to choose from – but I adore the cake stand from Cattails and who wouldn’t want a Lee Valley gift certificate? Great contest Karen!

  114. Jen says:

Oh my goodness! Can I want everything on my Christmas list? There are so many amazing products, but I have to say that I too was stopped dead at Cattails Studio – anything ‘acorn’ that she makes is sooo on my list! Everything is amazing though, and I’m thankful that there are giveaways like this! Very uplifting and heart warming at a time where happiness and smiles are much needed in the World! xoxo <3

  115. Stephanie R. says:

Wow! That cake stand is gorgeous!!! I’m pretty sure I need one 🙂

  116. Alice says:

I love textiles — so probably Rough Linen or the tea towels — but seriously, they’re all great prizes — so I wouldn’t mind being the 5th person and getting the last two.

  117. Allison Gorham says:

Lee Valley gift certificate! !!!!! & maybe the perfume ( cuz I’ll stink after working in thd garden with my Lee Valley tools that I’ll buy with the GC! ) Thanks Karen! Merry Christmas! !!

  118. TWC says:

very pretty things, especially those made of wood or linen

  119. MDR says:

Really, what don’t I want! So many great things. The linen sheets! The Bee hive! The steam engine! The gorgeous cake stand!…..

  120. Beth Popowski says:

Love it all, but would like to try Rough Linen products!

  121. Tina W. says:

So many options! I think I’d go for the dehydrator at Lee Valley Tools. Ours died recently and it would be great to replace it.

  122. Kelly says:

Gracious, this reminded me how behind I am on my Christmas pledge. This is going to be a very busy week…
However, not too busy to tell you that I would knock people over on black Friday for that cake stand and the Rough Linen stocking. Good thing I can shop online. The world is a safer place.

  123. Maria says:

    Anything from Lee Valley!

  124. Polish Princess says:

so many choices, so little time. Do I choose things for my loved ones? Cake stand for the daughter that is really into cake decorating? Geode necklace for the daughter that rarely spends on herself? Ellenoire for the daughter that lovesss all things beauty-related?

    OR JUST EVERYTHING FOR ME????

  125. Alton Molnar says:

I do not know what I would pick second, but the seeds would definitely be my number one choice, although my wife most likely would not agree and I would let her choose anyhow. Thanks for the opportunity

  126. Bronwyn says:

The diamond dust studio tea towels are gorgeous. Nothing like brightening up a dull activity with a bit of colourful embroidery.

  127. Rose says:

Love the Ellenoire products-I remember you talking about the best blush you bought there. Rough linen and dryer balls are also on my list!

  128. Mary says:

The Lee Valley gift certificate would be awesome, since you made me look back a while ago and now I’m addicted. I have also lusted after anything from Rough Linen since you told about your sheets too. Thanks for the giveaway Karen and sponsors!

  129. Phyllis Kraemer says:

From the girl who never wins anything….I’d be happy with anything!!…It’s all lovely!!

  130. AdrienneB says:

Oh jeez… The Lee Valley gift card would be a blessing and a curse. I love all their stuff. So many useful things that you think will surely make your life easier and wonderful. I would probably have to get a gardening thing for me (a kneeling pad mayber?) a little toy for my son (wooden log set?) and a woodworking thing for my husband.

  131. Jody says:

I love all your sponsors. While all very different they all seem to have a classiness in common while avoiding the pretentiousness that too often gets confused with classifieds. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off the look at more of their wares and dream of winning. Thank you and them for this wonderful site.

  132. Marleneg says:

Thanks for allowing me to dream…I love that wooden cake stand!

  133. Pamela says:

All unique and wonderful items to win! But I’m leaning towards Crafty Little Gnome and time to pamper me with JUST for you from Ellenoire.

  134. Sarah says:

Oh my! I am in love with that diamond dust tea towel. Of course, it’s too pretty to use….so I’ll just have to eat off of paper plates! Lee Valley already has my pay cheque, so Rough Linen would be grand!

  135. Donna says:

Would love the cake stand, great for family parties, and I love to bake—here’s hoping !

  136. Jeri says:

Seeds—what are they but pure faith, hope and love.

  137. Lisa B. says:

*Swoon* That cake stand makes me smiley & giddy just looking at it. It may be love at first sight, I dare say. All of Cattails Woodwork’s pieces are works of art, so exquisitely crafted. I’m also loving the dreamy swirl wood dryer balls. The lavender & turquoise shades make me feel all zen-y. In fact, I think I would put these on the cake stand with an glass bell cover & make the whole thing a centrepiece. While eating the cake that was suppose to go on the stand;)

  138. Jan Macdonald says:

too many great gift ideas hard to choose but would be happy to receive the cake stand and Lee valley gift card

  139. Stephanie says:

I truly love the Greymount Paper & Press cards!! I do love sending things in the mail – so much more fun than emails or texts!

  140. Frances says:

The Geode necklace for sure! Although I like those dryer balls – and the Lee Valley Tools gift certificate and . . . . . .

  141. Jessica Marie says:

I just don’t even know. I’m overwhelmed by the options! The dryer balls are already on my Christmas list (though I like the purple people eater color scheme). The cooking set you showed from lee valley looks amazing, but I went to the site and I can’t believe what’s available! Plus, I love all the rough linen things. Gah. Good luck to whoever has to choose first!

  142. jillian says:

CUBITS!!! Omg! I don’t know how I missed them in your previous posts but I am in love! I signed up for their newsletter. They have fantastic variety of heirlooms and the garden gift sets are a lovely idea. I can visualize some Cubits growing in my garden already especially some new varieties of carrots and beets. Plus, they have microgreen seeds, which are hard to find and expensive.

I do not wear jewelry much, but when I do it has to be unique and usually in the form of gems/crystals. However, Crafty Little Gnome caught my eye and now I”m in love! I’ve bookmarked them as a favorite in my Etsy account! Would love to have a piece of their jewelry.

Winning or not, Happy Holidays to you and your Uncle Charlie!

  143. Kim says:

Sooo many wonderful things to choose, top of my list would definitely be ‘me’ gifts from Ellenoire or the perfume from Lab but because it is Christmas, I suppose I should be thinking of others ….hmmmm, the seeds or the Lee Valley or any of the above! Thank you ⛄️

  144. Deb F says:

Everything looks great but I would love to try the Aquis towels and you can never go wrong with Lee Valley!

  145. Debbie L says:

I love sending cards so I would love to win the Greymount Paper & Press crazy huge set of cards!! But that wooden cake stand is gorgeous too and would look great on my new kitchen counter tops!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  146. Michelle Benjamin says:

The Greymount cards are adorable, but the embroidered tea towels are exquisite. And I always need more things from Lee Valley (I discovered your blog via their newsletter).

  147. Sarita says:

I’d love to up my letter-writing game with those note cards! Sweetness!

  148. Laura says:

Love the jewelry! Love it all….

  149. SuzyMcQ says:

Some wonderful items from the Lee Valley catalogue, most especially the Solar Lanterns and some gardening tools. I loved items from all your sponsors, but, I’ve wanted to get myself some items from Lee Valley for a long time.

  150. Nancy says:

I love everything u picked. If forced to pick just one I would love to get the Rough Linen gift.

  151. Amie M says:

    CUBITS AND LEE VALLEY!

Wow, that’s a lot of shouty caps before any coffee this morning. This post excited me, a little too much. Nah, seeds and things to make those seeds grow are definitely worth a little excitement on a Monday morning.

  152. Clara Woodburn says:

I already have the Wool Dryer Balls from Clean Sypria, they are wonderful! I would love the Cubits subscription!!

  153. Joanne says:

Hi Karen! I love your blog!! You have presented an impossible choice but since I have to pick two, it would be Lee Valley and Greymount paper. I will definitely be taking a serious look at all your sponsors – especially if it helps you out. Joanne.

  154. Lea says:

I have been wanting to try wool dryer balls, and I would love the beautiful tea towels. The cake stand is stunning as well.

  155. Debbie from Illinois says:

That cake stand is so sexy!!! Love what Lee Valley offers too. Thanks for the chance to win.

  156. AnnieB says:

    Ruff, ruff, ruff.
Will sit up and beg for Rough Linen!

  157. Susan Coady-Butler says:

Everything is gorgeous! Wonderful products. I am literally hyperventilating over the linen pinafore! So excited about this giveaway, Thank You!!!

  158. erin says:

are you kidding. to have to pick 2 prizes?!??! I love anything cattails. covet rolling pins for a long time and the cake stands more recently. I am starting a plot in a community garden this year so more cubits seeds would be great. love the amethyst necklaces from little gnome. greeting cards would be handy. I so hope I win but I would have a hard time picking.

  159. Oh Karen, Karen, Karen… I would have been happy for you to just tell us about these wonderful things (which you did), but you have gone above and beyond by being such a wonderful blogger that these wonderful companies want you to give away their wonderful things (which you are). You know what would be even more wonderful? If I were to be picked as one of the winners. Then I would have the wonderful problem of actually having to choose two wonderful things. Unless of course, I was Number Five, and then I would have to take what I get. Which would also be wonderful because these are ALL wonderful things.

  160. Kim says:

I would love anything from Rough Linen or Diamond Dust tea towels. There are also some cute origami crane necklaces on Crafty Little Gnome. Any of these items would be great!

  161. Monika says:

OMG, the choices, the choices! I got lost on several websites….. loved the dryer balls, Lee Valley, the seeds, rough linen, the cards…… It will be really hard to choose when I (hopefully!!) win!

  162. Carol says:

hard to choose! but seeing I’m being asked I would have to go with cat tails studio and rough linens!

  163. Belinda says:

With a husband who is a rock collector, the amethyst/sliced geode necklace is a no brainer for me. I’d also like to win the Lab Narcisco Rodriguez perfume~~heavenly!

  164. Sylvia Ancvirs says:

It would be truly difficult to choose, I’m already a Rough Linen and Lee Valley fan. (I think it should be legislated that everyone have a rasp to grate garlic and ginger to stay healthier and to have linen towels that dry quickly and don’t get that “used towel smell”). Also just finished creating my raised vegetable garden with rough cut pine so heirloom seeds would be lovely. My Christmas rum cake on an elegant walnut cake stand or some artistic bling? A girl can always dream. A nice group of sponsors you have Karen.

  165. Pauline Cornick says:

That cake stand is on my Christmas list! It’s absolutely beautiful and I wold LOVE to win it! I’m a baker and I can only imagine how amazing my Christmas cookies would look on it. And anything from Cubits would be AWESOME! It would be exciting to receive something new each month.

  166. AB Karen says:

Diamond Dust tea towels with the skull design for me, and the seed of the month club for my sweetie!

  167. Cheryl says:

Coming out of lurkerdom for this, because that seed subscription is tempting.

Actually, there’s only one thing I wouldn’t be delighted to get, and that’s because I get scent-induced migraines.

  168. jenni farnes says:

wow oh wow…..there’s fabulous stuff on these sites that i never even knew existed! it sure will make christmas shopping a lot easier with so many possibilities…like always wondering what i can ever get someone….now i have ideas. i think the cooking package and the linen package sound and look amazing. thank you for getting my christmas holiday off to a great start with such a generous gargantuan giveaway. happy holidays.

  169. maureen says:

I have been trying hard to be good think , of others first, yada yada ya but I simply cannot deny myself the natural linen sheet from Rough Linen any longer . Santa be damned I will have this one way or another.

  170. Carol says:

Should that cake stand land on my counter (yes, I’d loooooove to win!), I would make the bestest, most beautiful, most delicious, cake worthy enough to be placed upon it. Yes I would.

  171. Susan M. says:

The geode necklaces are gorgeous and a perfect stocking stuffer for my girls! Thanks for the opportunity – my fingers are crossed!

  172. Leslie says:

How to choose?!!! Such a wonderful list, Karen. And generous of your sponsors. 🙂
I’d go for the Cubit’s (one for me, one for dad) and probably Lee Valley. Though, the Diamond Dust tea towels are gorgeous! And Rough Linen…oh my, so hard to decide!
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  173. Callie says:

Oh, Karen….you present such a dilemma! There is not one of your sponsors I haven’t lusted over at some point. Have always loved Cattails beauties (my gram was from PEI…hope to visit someday) and the jewelry from Crafty Little Gnomes looks amazing. But Ellenoire would most likely be my choice…I’m a sucker for soft, pretty fragrances but almost never buy for myself. Random # Chooser….pick me, pick me!!

  174. Michelle says:

I have a love of geodes, thanks to my rock hound dad…and that lariat necklace is gorgeous! I can’t wait to go back and browse further tonight. You really do have the best sponsors!

  175. katie says:

The necklace is beautiful. She also has a magnifying glass necklace (of which I have no need) that I think is so cool!
The lee valley gc would be wonderful!

  176. MaggieB says:

Wow Karen – what a fantastical giveaway from you and your sponsors! I just wanted to ask – is this only valid for North America? I didn’t see any restrictions, but that was mainly because of looking at all the fabulous gifts on offer.

  177. Lavada says:

Wow! So many lovely things to choose from. I would pick the a Turned Wood Cake Pedestal from Cattails for my baker daughter-in-law to be (October 2016) and either Lee Valley with a multitude of ideas swimming in my head or Cubits Seed of the Month X2 for myself and various neighbors/friends.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  178. beverly paquin says:

i like the $120 Lee Valley gift card

  179. Amy Root says:

With soon to be 5 children at home, I have laundry coming out my ears! I love the idea of saving money and sparing my children the affects of harsh chemicals by using wool dryer balls. Also, LOVED the “vintage squirrel” linen towel!!!

  180. MIRANDA says:

I love love love Lee Valley. Love.

  181. Julie says:

Yup, the seeds…totally the seeds. What great prize! Although I never comment I love your blog. Thanks for sharing all of this!

  182. Wendy N says:

Like a kid in a candy store ….I would want it all! Love the cake stand, love Lee Valley, the Rough Linen….see I love it all.

  183. Janine Samuelson says:

I especially love the Diamond Dust Studio Dish Towel Vintage Style Bird Red Orange and Gold Embroidered Kitchen Towel. What a great idea for a contest – this has certainly helped my Christmas shopping dilemma.
    Thanks !

  184. nancy says:

Actually I really “need” a Christmas stocking. And everything almost at Lee Valley is great And necessary. Theses would be for me, I’m just not good at picking out presents for others.

  185. RuthAnn Kowalski says:

Definitely Lee Valley. Lots of great stuff. I want Indoor Garden Grow light so I can start seeds next spring. Or the mini wand torch to get those nasty weeds poking up through the bricks in my patio. Too many interesting things I’ll be sending any one that asks what I want for Christmas to this site. thanks Karen

  186. Helene says:

Oh wow. I’d go with Lee Valley because well, Lee Valley (and their French is beyond reproach, which is both impressive and laudable) and… the cake stand maybe? The seeds? It’s all too much! Wow!

  187. Stacey says:

The Lee valley gift card for sure. But what about seed of the month. Plus the sugar skull tea towels are sure nice. Too many nice things to choose

  188. Peggy says:

I have a daughter getting married in Feb 2016 and the Cattails cake stand would be so perfect!

  189. Becky G. says:

Lee Valley for sure, and the seeds!

  190. Deva Fjelsted says:

What lovely prizes. I like the cake stand and the linen dish towels, but would I would be happy with anything. They are all terrific!

  191. Jodi says:

    Ooh me! Pick me!!

  192. Sara says:

OHMYGOSH… The gift certificate to Lee Valley would be so amazing! But, wait… What about Crafty Little Gnome gift certificate? Or, the dryer balls? Or the CAKE STAND. The Rough Linen stocking wins, cause I’m addicted to Rough Linen, but it’s all just unreal.

  193. Janis Brennan says:

I want to win. Love cake. Don’t know how long it will last on the stand but I can always display a cute little something on it. My husband can grow anything from seed what a great gift for him. A wool dryer ball better then the plastic ones I have now and prettier.

  194. Ingrid says:

    Hi Karen,

I think that the cake stand would take my crappy cakes to a higher, more socially acceptable level. It’s very, very beautiful. I also love the tea towels. I would enjoy the Ellenoire stuff, but I do not bathe, or shower, or brush my teeth…ever.

  195. Kristy says:

So much pretty-ness to love! The tea towels and linen stocking are amazing!

  196. Stephanie says:

I would love everything except maybe the perfume (fragrance is such a personal choice) and the seeds (not because I wouldn’t love to grow them, I just don’t have a garden to grow them in!). Merry Christmas!

  197. Hi Karen,

    I’m In!!

Those dryer balls have my name on them.. Even if for some unforeseen reason I don’t actually win this week.. I think I am going to get some of those.. I don’t like dryer sheet, but the static build-up here is almost dangerous!

  198. Liene says:

    that stocking from Rough Linen

  199. Mary Lynn says:

Wow!!! I’d pick seeds from Cubits, since I received them from your “Starting Your Own Seed” course you offered last spring…..I grew some lovely ivory pear tomatoes.
My dog would eat them right off the lower branches!
Also, the Lee Valley gift certificate.
I wish I’d known about Lee Valley when I lived across the border in Buffalo a few years ago!
Are they just an online company or do they have a store as well?
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  200. Vanessa D says:

Holy S***!! You have a Lee Valley sponsored gift!? WOW *dreamily thinking of all the things I would get for spring gardening, or around the kitchen, or more tools! But in the downtime of running around doing the things those tools allow me to, I would LOVE to have more stationary for writing friends and grandparents random cards from Greymount press. Soo pretty and hilarious!

  201. Anita says:

How does one choose from all of it, Rough Linen is just beautiful and I am saving my pennies for a duvet set.

  202. Nicole L says:

I do a little happy dance every time mail from Cubits comes, so the monthly seed subscription would be my top choice. And then in true holiday spirit, I could let my relatives fight over who gets the second subscription.

  203. Cred says:

Wow! Look at all the loot! Would be a tough choice.
I love Brenda’s work (my flame birch rolling pin is my favourite xmas gift ever).
And I just got lost (again) perusing rough linen’s site. Oh, and all the possibilities of Lee Valley. My sister just brought me some sour dough starter and both sizes of those Danish dough whisks from Lee Valley. After looking around Rough Linen, I decided I must order a bread bag for my sister for her sourdough bread. That would be a nice gift for someone who likes baking- sourdough starter, a Danish dough whisk and a Rough Linen bread bag.
It would be a hard to decide but what a pleasant tough spot to be in.

  204. virginia says:

Thanks to your amazing sponsors! I would choose the cubits as my sister in law is in the chemo process for ovarian cancer and the seeds would inspire her love of gardening and focus on the beauty of Spring and Summer! All the selections are wonderful, the cards full of whimsy.

  205. Faye says:

Love the cake stand and anything from Lee Valley Tools! Awesome giveaway! Thanks!

  206. Susan McDonald says:

Love the Rough Linen aprons. I want….no…..I need one of them!
    Love your blog Karen!!!

  207. Teresa Garcia says:

Wool dryer balls sound awesome. Especially the neon ones, possibly Monkey Fart scented. Because that would totally entertain my husband and may encourage him to actually do laundry. Not likely, but possible.

  208. Deb from Maryland says:

Diamond Dust for me! Love the variety of patterns available. And, the skull design would make a great wall canvas for my daughter.

  209. Jeanie Burch says:

Wow – great sponsors! I especially like the cards from Greymount – love the little kitty cards. And I would love anything from Lee Valley because I like to cook. Thanks for the opportunity to win and I love the new web site design.

  210. brenda says:

    Pick me Pick me!!!!!!
Love anything from Cattails Studio Diamond Dust Studio Crafty Little Gnome

  211. Karyn says:

Love the cake stand, rough linens & dryer balls – been looking at all of these items this month. Here’s to a wonderful holiday season to you & your readers!

  212. Megan Campbell says:

Cubits Seed of the Month, the Hannukah cards, the Geode necklace. Actually all are fun. Thanks.

  213. Shelly M. says:

Everything is beautiful, but the cake stand and the Lee Valley cooking package are high on my list!

  214. I would choose something from Rough Linen, Cubit’s, Lee Valley, or Greymount Paper. But actually, I’d take anything! It’s all gorgeous.

‘Tis the season to be jolly, so Be Jolly!
    Madeleine W.

  215. Caris Rubenzer says:

I can’t keep my eyes off those wonderful greeting cards and the tea towels!

  216. Sheila says:

Wow…..what a fabulous giveaway!! I would love the cake stand from Cattails Studio or anything from Lee Valley.

  217. Mo says:

Tea towels, seeds, jewelry, Lee Valley, dryer balls – all great stuff and would be happy with any of it.

  218. Diana says:

The duckling sweater card from Greymount Paper & Press reminds me of how the Make Way for Ducklings statue in Boston Common is attired for the holiday season…so cute! And I’ve been coveting a pinafore from Rough Linen, so if I won the stocking I’d splurge on a present for me!

  219. That cake looks mighty inviting also. I must be hungry!

  220. Kathy hartzell says:

Lee Valley, my dear, is on my bucket list. I shop their catalogues but to gist a store. Oh my! I would go to bed that night….
    Happily swaddled in rough linen!!!

  221. Beth says:

Hi there. I LOVE the geode slice jewelry from Crafty Little Gnome. The Greymount Paper & Press collection looks adorable, too!

    Happy holiday season, everyone!

    – Beth *jingle*

  222. Jill Migliarese says:

I would like to win everything! Everything you sponsor looks like it is quality and so well made. BUT….if I only had to pick two things I would go for the Lee Valley set and the Cubits seed of the month club 🙂

    Love your blog BTW 🙂

  223. AngieC says:

I never win anything, please pick me weird software! I would love that cake stand and the seeds. I even know which friend I would share with!

  224. joanne says:

Wow – this is really generous, and everything is so beautiful that I’d love to win any of them.
If I needed to choose one thing, I’d go for the Graymount Paper bundle, because who doesn’t love receiving gorgeous cards? (the gift that would then keep giving, certainly!)

As a second choice, the gorgeous wood pieces from Cattails would be things that I’d never splurge on for myself, but if I were lucky enough to be a winner, I’d love to have a flame birth cutting block.

Thank you Karen and all your sponsors for being so generous!

  225. Sboo says:

Like many others, I would struggle to choose two items from this list. Thank you, Karen and Karen’s sponsors, for your generosity! My favorite perfume has been empty for months and I’m can’t seem to find the time to research a new fragrance. I’m also a proponent of handwritten notes, so those would probably be my selections if I were one of the lucky five. That cake stand, though!

  226. Kim says:

Really, I’d be thrilled with ANY of your sponsor’s gifts – they’re all so wonderful. Although difficult to choose which two I’d select, I think I would go with the Lee Valley gift card to buy some of their dresser hardware for a piece I’m refinishing, and the bath products from Ellenoire to use in the big o’ bathtub in the house we just bought (to soak my post-renovation-weary bones). Merry Christmas to all!

  227. Alana Wright says:

Oh my goodness, that is a lovely cake stand, but I don’t make cakes! I would probably go for the dryer balls and the rough linen package. Or maybe the cards. Those are some pretty fantastic cards! And I could frame up the 5×7 arts and rotate them in my library. (Yes, I have so many books I have to dedicate one room of the house to them and the bookcases!). The seeds would be amazing for my Father In Law, but I don’t know what I’d do with the other set. I’m… vegetably challenged. Is that a word? It is now!

  228. Martha says:

Wow- beautiful choices. Just like Christmas I say “surprise me!”

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  229. Karin says:

Why oh why are there no Lee Valleys USA? I hate them ( I love them). I guess I could forgive them if I won their gift. That or the dryer balls. I clicked on the dryer balls kind of as a joke, thinking how could I spend $ on some wooly balls. Then I spent the next 10 minutes reading the FAQ section and am pretty sure I need wooly balls now. Plus I get to say wooly balls.

    • Karen says:

Hi Karin! Lee Valley absolutely does business in the US. They have an online store for US (which is how they started in Canada … one small store and then a big mail order business). Just go to http://www.leevalley.com and you can order anything your heart desires. ~ karen!

  230. Connie says:

Tough decisions to make…I love paper and cards so Greymount Paper & Press would be my first choice. Second would be Crafty Little Gnome, Ellenoire, Rough Linen and Lee Valley! Or Cattails Woodwork and diamond dust studio.

    Please pick me computer!!

  231. sue hontalas says:

that cake stand is thebomb.com…….my first choice…a gift for me! :-)…second choice….that is going to be more difficult….thanks for doing this, Karen!

  232. Luanne says:

My mouth waters with the idea of receiving seeds every month for a year from Cubits (OMG, black krim tomatoes are the tastiest), and from shopping through Lee Valley and sharing some of my loot. (Rough Linen was a top contender, too, but I’d have preferred a gift cert to go towards a duvet cover / pillow shams. (Even though the stocking is gorgeous!) )

Merry Christmas – I’m excited about the contest!

  233. Laurinda says:

Oh man- Cubit’s seeds! (hyperventilating) Lee Valley! I need a rasp! & bear claws!
Thank you for the awesome giveaway! So excited!

  234. Ev Wilcox says:

Well, if I MUST be first, OK, I’ll bear the heavy load of having to choose from all that wonderful stuff. Or, I’ll be second, or third…. Hey, Last would be great too! Anyway, the gifts are all very nice, any who win will be lucky indeed! It’s like being on “Ellen”, but we’ll call it “Karen”!

  235. Brandy Ballard says:

Oh my goodness gracious everything is so lovely it would be so hard to choose. And the gift ideas at the websites! The gift set from Ellenoire looks totally divine! And the seeds might be a good choice since I’ve been thinking of creating a small garden in my backyard

Thanks so much for doing this!

  236. Carolyne says:

Lee Valley. I already have a list. And rough linen.

  237. Sarah Card says:

Holy heck, the walnut cake stand for sure. And Lee Valley. Glorious.

  238. Elaine says:

Hi Karen – Wow, what a nice way to start the morning! First of all, a big thank you to the generous advertisers and secondly, what a tempting choice of gifts! It’s very hard to choose but the cake stand is stunning (I’d use it for vignettes) but anything from Lee Valley would be great too. I practically lived at their store when I lived in Burlington. As for “Rough Linen, I’ve never heard of them but in reading comments from your readers, I’m certainly curious now. I’m in a condo now but if I won the seeds, I could give to my son and daughter. The jewelry is gorgeous too. Tell you what, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for anything!

  239. Phyllis says:

OMG – Where to start. Cattails wood cake platter is gorgeous, the seed subscription from Laura would be great for my new garden, I love everything Lee Valley (go through their catalogues all the time) and the shell and bead dangle necklace on Adriene’s site is one of my favs.
    Good luck to everyone.

  240. Sandy says:

It was hard to choose since they are all great. I love the turned walnut cake stand but being a fellow Etsy seller I have to go with the gift certificate from Crafty Little Gnome. Her prices are great so that $100.00 gift certificate would go a long way. Thanks for the giveaway, Karen.

  241. Joan H says:

Eeny, miney, moe, choose a prize and you will glow (with smiles, shouts of joy and happy dances)! What a wonderful selection of options. My top choice would be Lee Valley followed closely by Cattail Studio, Ellennoire and Rough Linen. Thank you Karen and sponsors for the generous choices!

  242. Melissa Leach says:

Don’t force me to choose!!! Love the great Gargantuan giveaway.

  243. Sandy Zelinsky says:

Love the Bath Makeover at Rough Linen, and could not find the “Cooking Package” on Lee Vallley web site, but would love to have that also.

  244. Kathryn says:

Wow! So many beautiful things. Cattail and Rough Linen probably, but Diamond Dust and Lee Valley are pretty sweet also. Happy Holidays!

  245. Linda in Illinois says:

Everything is so nice. Especially love the seeds as you have been my inspiration in my own garden.

  246. Christina says:

That geode necklace is beautiful, that’s definitely my pick. And her gold scarab bracelet is fab too!

  247. Laurie Vanina says:

What a great selection of gifts, The necklace is beautiful. I can always use dish towels. The cake stand is fabulous. What’s not to like?

Good luck to everyone and happy holidays!!!

  248. Vicki says:

Wow…what a delightful giveaway! Lee Valley has sooooo many things I would choose even on top of the gift certificate! And that walnut cake stand…oh my! But then again, I totally love Rough Linen and all of her products! I am sure I could narrow it down as a winner though! Thanks for this opportunity Karen!

  249. Julie says:

I **NEED* an Aquis hair towel by Ellenoire!!! And tea towels. And dryer balls. Difficult choice!

  250. Bethany Jones says:

My fashionista sister needs the Crafty Little Gnome necklace and my baker mother-in-law would love a Cattails Studio rolling pin! Lovely gift ideas!

  251. Tracey says:

I love everything! Hard to choose. Cattails cake stand is absolutely beautiful. I also love her rolling pins and mason jar lids! L’absolu Narciso Rodriguez would be a real treat! Keeping my fingers crossed!

  254. Chelsea says:

Cattails! I’ve been eyeing her store for ages!

  255. Julie says:

Whew. Hard to choose. The seeds & the linen are calling the loudest. Thanks for the chance.

  256. Tanya says:

I would just love to win any of these! And you are gonna make a girl choose? Aww schmucks….

  259. Sandra says:

  260. Angela says:

I would like to win! I could get the entire set of bowls from Lee Valley!

  261. Judy persson says:

I’m retiring soon so I absolutely need the cake stand so I can display the goodies I bake for my grandkids. I also need the rolling pin holders from their website. And gardening! The seed subscription would be awesome for gardening on Saltspring Island BC (my retirement destination). And of course the mola inspired tea towels. And, and,…..it too hard to decide!

  266. Terry says:

Beautiful items, all. My favorite is the walnut cake stand. I have been looking for the perfect cake stand for years, and my daughter has too. I will need two of them.

  267. Joanne says:

    Joanne
    The cake stand is stunning!
All the gifts are great, but I like many thing s at Lee Valley.

  268. Hallie says:

    Hard choices!

I think I’d choose Lee Valley and get some gardening stuff, including the tote, and some fun stuff, including the bolt puzzles.

And maybe the perfume. I was just last week thinking of trying out wearing perfume sometimes, and I like the description of this one.

  269. All of the Above….yep, all of ’em!
Happy Holiday’s Karen and Thanks for making me smile on a continual basis!
    xo
    Shelly

  270. Susanne says:

I would love to win everything, but the Cubits is my favourite, I would give it to my 15 year old son who loves to garden! We use many of your garden tips!

  271. Catherine Vosper says:

please enter me…I have a hard time choosing, I love the linen towel with the frog on it…would like to try the dryer wool balls, love perfume, the cake stands made me gasp and I already shop so much at Lee Valley, they always have something I want…jewelry is always apreciated etc. etc…..

  272. Trisha says:

The cake stands, without a doubt! What sweet delights those are! So beautiful. With that bit of beauty I would say my second choice would be the seed of the month from Cubit’s. It’s a bit more practical and I can share!

  273. Carol says:

What a wonderful selection! If I had to choose, I’d opt for Rough Linen, followed by Lee Valley.

  274. Susan Townsend says:

Wow! They are all so nice. Lee Valley is a great store here in Canada that I’ve been shopping at for years. Love the linen, love the cake stand, love the dryer balls and that’s an inspired way to buy seeds – actually they are all really great picks.

  275. Jackie says:

I could go for some beautiful linen or a nice musk perfume. And that cake stand!? Exquisite!!!! Thanks for the opportunity! Happy Holidays!!!

  276. Claudine says:

I love them all but I could really use some seeds for my garden.

  277. Linda says:

So hard to choose – everything is worthy of being chosen. The cards from Greymount are very cute and I would like to see what all the hoopla about rough linen is about.

  278. West Coast Nan says:

Ooooh, everything looks so grand! I think that walnut cake stand is gorgeous, I’ve always wanted to shop at Lee Valley. And I want to get into Rough Linens – literally… The winners will be lucky, lucky people!

  279. JoEllen says:

    I want them all!

  280. Gwennie says:

The cake stand would be put to very good use in my kitchen, my husband would be thrilled to have something delicious on it every week. And the note cards are completely adorable.

  281. Candy Novenske says:

Seeds for me please and the tea towels!

Thank you Karen, and to your wonderful sponsors!

  282. Merrilee says:

Totally Lee Valley. The folding hand truck. Though the casket hardware is intriguing. And the Cattails Studio, wood is so beautiful! Anyway these are all amazing and thank you to all the sponsors!!!

  283. Suzanne says:

Oh my. I’ve been lusting after everything in the Rough Linen catalog…. so I’d choose their prize, hands down.

  284. Julie says:

Wow! What a fabulous selection of prizes & some beautiful stores – it would be a very hard choice. I made a cake during the weekend that would have looked lovely on that cake stand, & the greeting cards would be nice not only for Christmas but the blank ones would be useful to have on hand year-round. What else… the seeds & the pretty embroidered tea towels, both for keeping & giving. I’ve been thinking about getting some of those dryer balls especially as she says they’re great for cloth diapers. Oh, & let’s not forget how fun a Lee Valley gift certificate would be. Yes, it would be a tricky choice indeed! 🙂

  285. FlagirlinTN says:

A great selection of stuff but I’m a sucker for anything stone/geode and who can’t use some woolly balls?

  286. Judy D. says:

~ It’s hard to pick just two, but Cattails and Lee Valley would be my top two. Thank you so much Karen for offering such a great giveaway.

  287. Becky says:

Going to your sponsors’ websites is a dangerous thing. Good thing I haven’t made my list yet!

  288. Patty D. says:

Oh. The Jewelry. Absolutely the jewelry. Luv it! 🙂

  289. Chop Chop says:

Lee Valley – please and thank you..

  290. Darlene says:

I don’t know why, but that cake stand is G O R G E O U S !!! and something I would never buy for myself but… would hardly use so the practical part of me would go with the rough linen which I could see myself making good, no, great use of!!! Good luck to all (but especially me) 🙂

  291. Sarah B says:

There are so many things I love! A rolling pin from cattails, rough linen tea towels, and the seed subscription are my favorites. You have such awesome sponsors!

  292. Keelea says:

Completely obsessed with not only the cake stand but EVERYthing on Cattails Woodwork website…especially those kitchen boards! My close second choices would be a toss up between the Greymount card collection (those Super animals in capes!!) and the Ellenoire gift set, because who doesn’t need more smell goods? Love the contest, love the blog! Happy giveaway!
    ~Keelea

  293. Paula Friesen says:

Choose? If I must, it would be:

Lee Valley – one of everything, please!
Crafty Little Gnome – beautiful amethyst for my beautiful daughter
Clean Sypria – love, love, love dryer balls!

  294. Pamela Longhurst Romanchuk says:

    Fantastic prizes.

I love all of the items but my two favourite to win would be from Lee Valley and Cubits.

Thanks for running this fabulous contest. Good luck to all but I hope that I win!!!

  295. Wendy says:

Tough choices….Cubits first. I just started following them on Instagram, I love all things gardening (except the deer that decimated my vegetable patch this year) & want to get my children & grandchildren on the farm/small backyard patch to table program.

Lee Valley second…I’ve been buying from them for 30 years & still crave many things, but again efficient tools are needed to get bit by that gardening bug.

Rough Linen third….this would be a gift to me. Love, love linen.

  296. julie says:

    SEEEEEEEDS.

All that stuff is great but the seeds man. SEEDS!

  297. Alissa Dasta Coletta says:

Oh! Those cake stands from Cattails Studio! and Rough Linen! and seeds to share….yes, please!

  298. Kelly Wolfe says:

Karen, everything is so perfect! I would have to choose the Lee Valley gift certificate because I am still so bummed that I was unable to come to Kingston to see you there. I could manufacture a memory, lol. But…the cake stand actually made me gasp…
    {Actually, I’d be thrilled with a cleaver tea towel}

  299. Ashlee V. says:

Omg! Everything and I mean everything is stupendously awesome! The cake stand is dreamy. The Cubits seed club is making my eyes water and wishing for spring already. Sigh…

  300. Angie Landrum says:

Well, the dryer balls have been on my list of things to buy, so of course those would be nice. Trying out some new seeds in my garden would be wonderful fun!

  301. Jeannette Finnigan says:

I’m intrigued by the comments made about Rough Linen. Everyone is so enthusiastic. I think I have to investigate it. And anything at Lee Valley. And I love the cake stand-anything wooden really. And the dryer balls….

  302. Derby says:

OMG, you had me at the Cattails cake stand, but then I saw, … the butter measure from Lee valley. I love it and everyone I know is going to get one for Christmas now!

  303. Jackie P. says:

I need the seeds! I started buying the Cubits seeds of the month for my mom as soon as you told us about them and it is so cool! I have my own garden now, so I need them for myself. 🙂

  304. doris rondeau says:

I don’t comment much but I have been reading your blog for many years.
I have gone on your sponsors site many times, beautiful artistic products.
I love people who master their art.
But the magnificent gifts you are offering would make anyone happy anytime,
lets go for it, Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
    Joyeux Noel.

  305. Alex Nett Taylor says:

Oooooo, this is fun! Yes, please to the cake stand and the dryer balls! Or maybe the Rough Linen stocking? Let’s just say, I could be happy with any of it. You have such great taste- both luxe and practical, which is totally my bag!

  306. Shauna says:

I’m one of those people who research everything to death to be sure I’ve made the best possible choice. So although winning would be a real burden, I’m willing to make the sacrifice.

  307. Aldrea says:

Oh, I would love the Greymount or Rough Linen packages. Good luck, everyone!

  308. Suzanne says:

So many beauties. How to pick? The cake stand is something! Yes please Santa…

  309. Diane Ward says:

So fun to discover new sites to shop! Thanks.
I love stationary so the Greymount Paper package would be fab…my New Year’s resolution is always to send more cards (which lasts until the middle of January when I realize I still haven’t sent Christmas cards. Sigh) The cake stand is beautiful and it would be a perfect gift for my sister, the baker extraordinaire! Lee Valley is always a good choice. So hard to choose!

  310. Oh that gorgeous cake stand and the dryer balls!

  311. Marj Sak says:

Graymount papers and Cattails for me!!! I’m a sucker for anything paper, especially graphic designed cards…first choice for me. Also love the beauty of the wooden cake stands, wow, breath taking, yes I’m holding my breath and crossing my fingers…?.
If I don’t win, it was eye opening to peek into all these companies. Thank you.

  312. Sherry says:

Thanks Karen… All the Christmas gift ideas I had pale in comparison to this list! Who doesn’t want all of these? The seed subscription and embroidered towels are now replacing items on my gift buying list… Now if I could just sell a kidney I would buy a few cake stands and rolling pins from Cattails and finish all my Christmas shopping!

  313. Pat says:

Yes, I would like to win. Your sponsors are being very generous to your readers. All the products are beautiful.

  314. Sue H. says:

Anything Rough Linen would be perfect. (then one of everything else, of course).

  315. cs white says:

Wow, this is a tough call! Any of those would be awesome prizes, but today the jewelry from Little Gnome is giving me an extra sparkle in my eye. Hm, now I better fire up my wish list and start making notes from all of these! 🙂

  316. Pauline Davis says:

Lee Valley for sure! Thanks Karen!

  317. LoriD says:

Wow… fantastic choices! Love the cake stand and Lee Valley anything (looking at the Star Wars metal model kits for a couple of cool kids on my shopping list), but I also have a thing for dish towels (the squirrel pattern is awesome!). Thanks for the giveaway!

  318. Sarah Bar says:

Wow! All of the items are great. I loved peeking through all of the beautiful tea towels by Diamond Dust studios. Really fun and beautiful work!

  319. Rishell Graves says:

Christmas is a time for showing family and friends how much they mean to you. These products all look amazing!

  320. Stephanie Burris says:

I really love everything! That cake stand is heavenly, though. All hers are BEAUTIFUL and would compliment the new walnut cabinetry I installed in my 1925 Bungalow!

  321. Jo Doyle says:

The linen Holiday Stockings, containing a hand towel, a set of cocktail napkins and a lavender bag, nicely discounted. A Bed in a Box! Everything you need, with 10% off. Orkney duvet cover, one flat bottom sheet, two Orkney shams, two Smooth simple pillow slips, and either a bedskirt or a summer cover!! WOW, this is so lovely and the 85 greeting cards from Greymount Paper & Press. The Frenchie puppy in barbershop attire singing “Happy birthday toooo yoooouuuu” Card, is too cute!!

  322. Jackie says:

OHHHHH…the cards are fabulous. Then the embroidered tea towels….AND the wool dryer balls. I will have a hard time choosing my two. But you can bet I will be up to the task.

  323. Laura says:

The cake stand, the seeds, the linen cocktail napkins! All of it!

  324. Trissi V. says:

Thanks Karen, because of you I have a lot less money…I bought a pinafore from from Rough Linen (need to buy another one as a gift as it is), my sister is now the proud owner of a Cattails rolling pin and skull tea towels from DiamonDustStudios (I am good gift giver). Now, I am pinning all of these stores to come back later too (seed of the month club…mind blown).

I want to WIN, my pocket book needs a break…right after I buy another pinafore and maybe my Christmas cards for next year (since this years are already stamped and ready to go).

  325. Sylvia says:

Hi Karen…what lovely give away. Everything is wonderful but I have to say I would probably choose the cards. I love beautiful papers and these are exquisite! Something I could enjoy before passing on to another.
I really enjoy your website. I envy you your chickens and your gardens. Give the chicks a “peck” from me.

  326. dannie says:

Decisions decisions… bergamot swirl tweed dryer balls, uh linen! Hmmm gorgeous cake stand… perfume! (What’s that!?) … I’m not even picky about any of it all …. just would like to win an indulge of anything! Great picks… great gifts… tea towels dancing in my head, Wha? Don’t mind me, I’m just dreaming…

  327. Vicky Smith says:

Boy oh boy, I would have a hard time if I’m 1st or 2nd. So many nice things. I really love the dish towels!

  328. Greer says:

Oooooh! The Cattails cake stand and the Lee Valley voucher – they have so much fun stuff!

  329. Mary McCabe says:

I love just about everything in the Lee Valley catalog and at the Crafty Little Gnome website. It will be hard to choose but given the opportunity to shop at either place, I would be a very happy girl this Christmas! (Silver Butterfly wing jewelry at CLG for sure….)

  330. Kathy says:

Would be close to impossible to choose but…..would love the opportunity:)

  331. Sylvia says:

Wonderful selection of gifts. For me or …. ? Lee valley stuff is so cool. Linens, are gorgeous and who does not need dryer balls? Crossing all my digits and limbs.

  332. Janice says:

I just had the best time “pretend”shopping through all the lovely gift items you have listed. A beautiful collection! It would be a hard choice. What a dream it would be to have the chance to choose.

  333. Brittany says:

I would love the Lee Valley gift card to buy some new pulls for our kitchen cupboards and the gift card from Ellenoire. I have my eye on some products for curly hair!

  334. Mary Beth says:

The Stop Snoring oil from Ellenoire would be divine. After 41 years of marriage to a snorer, a quiets nights sleep would be heavenly.

  335. Radana says:

    WANT. IT. ALL.

  336. Kimberly says:

I can honestly say I *love* all of your sponsors & gifts. I have been wanting a Hair Towel from Ellenpure since you mentioned it in one of your posts and also the Wool Dryer Balls but how could you pass up that beautiful cake stand?!

  337. Lisa Kinnison says:

Cubits for my seed obsessed life and Diamond Dust studios for making antiquity into modern. Fun stuff, even if the top two aren’t available, I could so love some others. Dreaming…

  338. Mary W says:

Favorites: Dryer Balls and Scent Sample (will be ordering soon) and You are My Sunshine necklace (special meaning and already ordered). I have several more that I will order in near future. Loved the easy window shopping – screen shopping. And know they are safe and reputable because you said so and everything you say is true – right, since I read it on the internet. I keep thinking about the “sparkle incident” and my mind is flying around like a sprayed roach. What fun.

  339. Keri says:

I want to win!!! Love the wooden cake stands and the linen stocking items!

  340. Rose says:

Would love some wonderful perfume……it’s been a long time since I’ve tried something new. And no, I wouldn’t give it away….mine alllllllll mine!

  341. Margaret Macnish Cordill says:

I would appreciate winning anything, but that cake stand is super beautiful!

  342. Elizabeth says:

The cake stand is absolutely gorgeous, and I would be so happy if I won it! Lee Valley is a favourite shopping and dreaming destination for me, so a gift certificate there would be heaven too. You have the best sponsors…

  343. deborah kimbell says:

I covet everything from Rough Linen and one day will find the rationale to buy a king sized comforter cover. For now, the stocking would keep me happy. And the cake stand is gorgeous. Lee Valley looks great, but I worry about shipping costs to the States?

  344. Margaret Macnish Cordill says:

I would appreciate winning any of these beautiful prizes, but that cake stand is amazing!

  345. Sara B says:

It’s pretty much impossible to pick! There are so many insanely nice things! The seed subscription is hard to beat though…especially because I’d be one gift closer to done with my Xmas shopping

  346. Jess Z says:

I’m torn between Lee Valley and the Diamond Dust Tea Towels. I love the Mola-style animal designs on the tea towels, but then again the practical person in me knows I could use the Lee Valley Quartz Overhead Radiant Heater for my garage. Whimsy vs Usefulness. All told, everything on your list is lovely, and I would happily take whatever was given!

  347. Phyllis says:

Perused them all. Would have to go with either Lee Valley or Diamond Dust Studio.
    Thanks for the opportunity Karen.

  348. Rosemary Burrows says:

Love them all. But I have no place to garden. I do love to bake so the Lee Valley baking set is perfect , as is the cake stand. Who knew there are such gorgeous things being made.

  349. Ooooh, that cake stand! I haz me a glass cake cover that I found in a thrift store. Dang thing weighs more than the table, good heavy glass that! But to find a cake stand worthy of such vintage heft, that’s the thing… until now! Can I haz one pleez? Um… you can include the cake if you like, I won’t mind. Really!
Item 2 would probably be unselfishly shared between my husband (green thumb) and his mother (green thumb) as they would both luuuurve them = Cubits seeds. Me? Yeah. Plants commit sepuku when they see me coming, just to avoid the torture!
Thank you for this, and Merry Christmas to you! 🙂

  350. Linda Breti says:

First of all….I WANT TO WIN! Secondly, it would be a difficult decision to just pick from 2 of your sponsors. I do appreciate you spreading out the love though so more of us have a chance to win…thank you! I love Lee Valley, or the Cubits seeds of the month, or upon browsing the Crafty Little Gnome, some jewellery would be nice too….I could go on!
    Good Luck to all!

  351. Nathalie Drummond says:

Man, they are all so gorgeous! Fingers crossed that I am one of the lucky ones!

  352. Tamara Kearns says:

Would definitely choose the Lee Valley for the super cool mariners crystal storm predictor or the Rough linen package!! They are all exciting to think about though!! 🙂 Merry Christmas!

  353. Catherine McLaughlin says:

The cake stand is gorgeous. Although, products from ellenoir would be the gift that keeps on giving!

  354. Tiana says:

I sincerely like ALL the prizes but the ones that got me so excited are the cubits one and the Lee Valley one. SWOON!

  355. Carol says:

Yes please…. The cake stand and Lee Valley, for sure! Jewelry too! All gorgeous stuff! Thanks! Merry merry!

  356. Lisa Fileccia says:

I would love Crafty Little Gnome and Rough Linen. What a great selection!

  357. Cindy says:

Wha hoo put me on the list for Lee Vally ( just started getting their catalogs ) and Greymount paper press ! Thanks , I need a cool gift this year .

  358. Susan Hollier says:

Very, very lovely things. That wooden cake stand from Cattails is absolutely gorgeous. My kitchen is already full of Lee Valley items (the rasp, and their measuring cups and spoons I would not want to be without) but that pudding basin is just like the one my mom always made her Christmas cake in. The dryer balls are an intriguing idea that I have been interested to try. And my daughter and I both have hair that is very difficult to dry so those Aquis towels might be a good answer there. I think 2nd and 3rd winners are going to have an easier time since the choices will be reduced. Only thing there that is a definite no for me is the perfume as I am terribly, terribly allergic.

  359. chris says:

I would love a cake stand and some embroidered tea towels!

  360. Cathy McCoy says:

Love, love, love your blog. It’s great to laugh every day. BTW, I made the black boa Halloween wreath this year. Fabulous. What’s not to love about boas?
Ok. I browsed and thought about this. 85 cards? I don’t think I know that many people I would like to send cards to. Sad but true. The seeds….I have such a green thumb that everything grows like a jungle in my yard. #littleshopofhorrors. ellînoire….definitely $175 worth of snoring oil, and I am not kidding on this. Diamond Dust Studio….gorgeous towels! Who doesn’t love gorgeous dish towels? Lee Valley….my friends call me the Queen of Kitchen Gadgets With Only One Purpose (think Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood). However the cookie press is something I don’t have yet….. Wool balls? Something about wool and dryers just doesn’t seem right, especially red wool in dryers. So I believe the dish towels. Yes, definitely the dish towels. I’m ordering the snore oil now.
Thank you for your wonderful heart!!

  361. Rita Plisis Hawk says:

The cards and the geode necklace. Love those cards especially!!! So cute and how fun to get send REAL mail! That alone is a gift nowadays!

  362. Michelle says:

Such a bounty of choices… I think the seed subscription would be lovely from Cubits and Lee Valley certificate as I need a whisk. The Cattails new website is really nice, first choice would be any number of her products – it’s just the cake stand would do too much damage to my waistline – a cake stand needs a cake on it at all times.

  363. Sara says:

Lee Valley and Cubits. So many things I want!

  364. Lez says:

I would love to enter, but you don’t say whether it is open to your readers from other countries. Is it?

  365. Ron says:

Cubit’s seed subscription & Lee Valley wooden toys for the grandson are my choices!

  366. Karen Taylor says:

How wonderful of you and your sponsors to offer these give aways! And what wonderful choices they are. Hard to select, but I’d be delighted to give it a try if your computer software will only pick me! Happy holidays to you and the sponsors.

  367. Jennifer Aakre says:

The Ellenoire gift certificate looks so pampering and wonderful, the wool dryer balls are funky but practical, and the Cubit’s seeds sound like something my husband and I would love!
Those walnut cake stands are absolutely gorgeous, but they would make my already sketchy looking cakes look even more shabby.

  368. Candice Stansell says:

woot woot I don’t usually shop for my self but I had been this morning for an indoor garden system but thought to myself that it was selfish and I will have to wait until I could afford one BUT!!!! as I was perusing some of your links I SAW on Lee Valley in their catalogue an indoor garden AND! it was just the same price as what I could win- Destiny I am sure! and those dryer balls are really cute 😀

  369. Yow-za! I would love to have any item from Trish’s Rough Linen! The dryer balls could replace my plastic ones and that wooden cake stand is beautiful.

  370. Penny says:

Lee Valley and Cake stand. Fingers crossed!

  371. Janice says:

The Crafty Little Gnome necklace – even though I already bought one. I need more of everything she’s made.

  372. Connie says:

What great prizes – I’d love the Ellenoire set!

  373. Carol Hogan says:

All wonderful but I’m salivating over Lee Valley and I really need some pampering from Ellenoire.

  374. Susan C says:

You have the best advertisers ever! That cake stand, Cubits, Lee Valley, oh my. I would love any of it.

  375. Shelby says:

OMG, I can’t choose!! The… Lee Valley and the Seed of the Month?! 😀

  376. Lori says:

All the gifts seem super imaginative, but I’d choose the Turned Walnut cake stand from Cattails Studio, Lee Valley gift certificate or the Crafty Little Gnome gift certificate. All your sponsors have wonderful items and the ones you’ve highlighted really pique the Me-to-Me shopping!!!

  377. Carrie says:

I’d love and cherish the cubit’s seeds of the month! Getting cool things in the mail + a new variety of veggie to try every month = HOORAY

  378. Martina says:

Lee Valley for me, it’s how I found you in the first place…so now I love them even more…? And the gift cards. There’s nothing better than receiving unexpected and personalized mail. Thanks Karen!

  379. Katie says:

Things like this always make me sad that your blog is so popular! Lol….kind of. Though if you weren’t so popular, then you may not have such great giveaways!
I’m jumping on the cake stand bandwagon, though greeting cards are possibly a close second… I also love the acorn anything from Cattails…or anything. Lol! Cubits seeds are also great…

  380. Wisconsin Gal says:

I think I could live in the Lee Valley Store (or even in their catalog), so that’s my first choice. The Greymount Studios cards are a close second – beautiful, funny, heartfelt. Everything is beautiful, wonderful and useful. And, what a sly way to entice your readers to look through your sponsors’ websites. You are a clever little vixen, Karen!

  381. Susan says:

Is leaving a comment here how you enter? I’m feeling rather intimidated as it’s my first time doing this. Do I pin on my own board or on the blog board? Same with FB–on my timeline or the Blog’s page? Not quite making sense to me. At any rate, I am blown away by all, but the cake stand is my favorite. A piece of art for sure.

  382. Leila says:

Wow. Cattails studio work is beautiful! Of course I’d like to win it all!

  383. Deb says:

What a fabulous giveaway!!! Everything is to-die for, but I have always wanted a beautiful creation from Cattails Studio and anything from Rough Linen!

  384. Jennifer says:

I love the cake stand! Or the seed subscription! Or the dryer balls! Or any of those items, really!
However if I don’t win, I’m likely going to get some seeds and dryer balls anyway…have been coveting them for a while now!

  385. maggie van sickle says:

browsed Lee Valley simply because I love LV and have many of their products. I also love the walnut cake stand. Merry Christmas to me and to you Karen

  386. Patty Black says:

Everything is so lovely!! Beautiful ideas for those who are hard to buy for.

  387. Heather says:

Everything is amazing but I would pick the cake platter (so beautiful) and the seeds. This next spring my goal is to plant a garden that actually produces food and not weeds. Thank you for this giveaway!

  388. Shannon says:

Love the cake stand, the cards, and the Lee Valley stuff. So many amazing choices! You rock!

  389. Marina K says:

The cake stand! I am obsessed with everything Cattails Woodwork puts out, especially the acorn pieces.

  390. Irene says:

Well, that was a long but fun browse! Thank you. 🙂
I would choose the perfume and the necklace; you’re absolutely right, THAT necklace is stunning!

  391. Lynda says:

The Cubits seeds would be my first pick. I love gift of the month gifts, having been the lucky recipient of such a gift myself. Something to look forward to in the mail every single month is such a happy making thing and added to that something to plant every single month is to the moon kind of happy! And then I’d pick Lee Valley who has all sorts of planty gardening things to go with.

Thanks Karen for the chance. None of the folks who do win could possibly be disappointed with any of these fabulous gifts!

  392. Jeanne says:

“Because a beautiful cake deserves a beautiful cake stand.” Swoon, is right! Now, if I could only make a beautiful cake……..

  393. Lisa McInnis says:

Wow, my favs are the amethyst lariat from Crafty Little Gnome (love that name!) and all of the cake stands from Cattails Studio, so love the biscuit sticks too. The tea towels from Diamond Dust are great too and of course, Lee Valley rocks, so many wonderful things to choose from there. Thanks for the chance!

  394. Lindsay says:

I’m in love with the pink druzy necklace from CraftyLittlGnome! So pretty. It was so hard to choose!

  395. Hélène says:

I would definitely love to win any of those, but I especially like the Turned Walnut cake stand, the Seed of the Month Subscription, the gift certifcate to Lee Valley, the Stuffed Stocking from Rough Linen and the Wool Dryer Balls! Will keep all those in mind for future gift lists.

  396. Leah Laurent says:

I’d pick the Rough Linen stuffed stocking and the geode necklace, OMG! I’d love to win!

  397. Karen says:

What lovely items – I’d be ecstatic to win the Lee Valley gift certificate, since we’re not too far away from the new store that opened recently in Kingston. Thanks for the giveaway Karen!

  398. Sandy McIsaac says:

    I love the cubits seeds!

  399. Julia says:

Rough Linen is amazing, and I could spend days at Lee Valley!

  400. Jackie says:

What a great idea & wonderful things to chose from. I like the Lee Valley package & the cake stand. By the way, Karen, ever since your new look, I can’t pull up your full blog in my email. The first one worked just fine but since the 2nd one, I’ve had to pull it up in my brozzer. Is this the new normal? Am I doing something wrong? I don’t want to miss any of your blogs. Thanks bunches.

  401. Angie says:

Lee Vally (my goodness they have everything!) and Rough Linen or Cubits I just can’t decide. They all look great! Going shopping now…

  402. Brenda says:

I absolutely love everything at cattails. In my opinion you can’t beat wooden items for timeless beauty, warmth and just all over yum mines. If I were to win the cake stand I might even bake a cake, unless I can think of something else to display on it.

  403. Angie says:

Oh I almost forgot to tell you that I’d like to win!

  404. JB says:

That cake stand is a work of art. And the Lee Valley catalogue sucked me in–what great stuff they have! ‘Course any of the gifts would be wonderful to receive–and to give as gifts, too! (By the way, I’m loving the new look of your website. So slick! And easy to use, too.)

  405. Carol says:

I’m obsessed with walnut, my new kitchen if it ever gets done will look great with that walnut cake stand from cattails studios. It will go great with blue and black skull towels from Diamond Dust Studios, can’t have enough skulls I do say… Of cource knowing me I will probably give them to my daughters for xmas…

  406. Chris Barber says:

The cake stand with the cake is a must have and those body indulgences by Ellenoire, I wanted to be clean in a frenchy way. These are all lovely prizes and frankly, I just want some ‘I won’ bragging rights.

  407. Stephanie H. says:

I am all about that cake stand. But it’s also really hard to resist an octopus with a menorah. Not to mention all of the wonderful ridiculous things in the Lee Valley catalog, because who doesn’t need pork shredding wolverine claws?

  408. Libby Karlinger says:

Love the geode necklace and pretty much everything else on the site. And it is indeed so hard to resist linen…

  409. Tara in VA says:

Wonderful generous give away! I like it all. I am going to pop over now and check out all the different embroidered tea towels.

  410. Stephanie says:

That cake stand has been on my mind since the last time you featured Cattails. That necklace – oh that necklace, but I am also a tool girl, so Lee Valley …. Dryer balls – you keep talking about how wonderful they are …. hhhmmm …. what to choose, what to choose – because I’d have to share with someone I love. Can’t hog a win when you get to choose two!

  411. nancee says:

Wow! You have a lot of people commenting on this post!
I love the geode necklace…I would probably give it to my future daughter in law. She is a rare young lady, and this would be so pretty on her.
The 2nd thing I’d like is the yarn…again, that would probably go to my daughter. She loves making things out of any yarn, but this would be her first “quality” yarn. (Maybe she’d knit or crochet me something?)
Third would be the seed subscription. I’d keep some to use in an Earthbox that will sit out in my front porch area. People need to see how easy it is to grow your own produce, even in a small way. The majority of the seeds would be shared with a gardener who has a larger area of a garden. And he’s got a seriously green thumb. Think of all the people you could give a seed packet just because you want to, and knowing that person will enjoy growing their own food!
The rest of the ideas were wonderful…the kitchen “gadgets” were interesting. The cards would go all over the world.
Thanks for the chance to see new gift ideas.

  412. Bonny Garland says:

I would love the Ellenoire Body products! A wonderful way to relax. The jewelry from Crafty Little Gnome would be so much fun! Seeds of the month would keep me busy and out of trouble. Oh, everything is so nice! Thank you Karen!

  413. Ellen says:

I have always wanted wool dryer balls. Well, always since I heard of them. I’d love the Woodland set from Clean Spyria.

  414. KarlawithaK says:

I am pretty much in love with the idea of winning anything from your sponsors! I must admit though, I’ve had my dreams about a Mason Cash mixing bowl or two.

  415. Rebecca says:

So many beautiful things — choosing would be difficult! I would love to try that hair turban from Ellenoire or the wool dryer balls in any colour from Clean Sypria. And who doesn’t love Lee Valley…?

I’ll go to work on Wednesday, come home, eat dinner, watch a bit of television, have a late night snack, brush my teeth, get into bed, and hope to win at midnight!

  416. Kathleen Ledgerwood says:

Love, love love Lee Valley, so many cool things… The Rough Linen stocking would look great on my fireplace.

  417. Danielle says:

I am really just in love with the Geode necklace among many pieces on Crafty Little Gnome website! I would also love to try out anything within the Ellenoire products.

  418. Laura says:

I’m torn between the crafty little gnome and Lee Valley, but I would definitely choose seeds of the month! I get seeds and I’d give the other seeds to my mother in-law and 100% win at Christmas! They are all great though. =)

  419. Rebecca dubois says:

Love the walnut cake stand – it’s going on my birthday wish list if I don’t seem to get one for Christmas!

And who doesn’t love Lee Valeey,!?

    Love the site!

  420. Ally says:

Why that Crafty Little Gnome….really is crafty! Love the geode jewelry and also the butterfly earrings. Can’t. Decide.
Rough Linen…my bedroom needs you. Stat.
Cake stand…and the cake please. Yum. Would change my Christmas baking plans for this stand! Loved the item I bought previously from them for a gift.

  421. Karen says:

    Well…..I have never won anything!
So if this time I did, well there is so MANY lovely things……
I guess. Noelle would be one. And I’m with you on the jewelry also….
Aaaahhhh BUT perfume would also be wonderful as I NEVER splurge on these types of things for myself…..
If I had my own home here I could build a GREAT garden like you then the seeds would be nice….
Good LUCK to everyone, and Happy Holidays to ALL
    Karen

  422. Deb says:

I want it all. I’m usually not so piggish (really).

I went to the Lee Valley online catalog and bookmarked it. I still have a hard copy of the catalog from Christmas a couple of years ago—I dig it out and look through it and dog-ear more pages.

  423. Mike says:

The Greymount Paper & Press prize is my number-one favorite! A close second is the cake stand, but then I’d have to place a cake on it. And then I’d have no choice but to eat the cake. All of it. Perhaps in only two sittings. Which means I’d have to go exercise more to help burn off those sinfully good calories. I don’t enjoy exercise, so that’s why the cake stand came in second to the greeting cards as my first choice!

    Thanks!

  424. Susan says:

OK. Where do I start. I’m with everyone who admires the cake stand for the work of art that it is. The linens have been calling to me since I read about them; they are exquisite. The extraordinary cards are also whispering my name.

  425. Oh those cards are stupendously funny and I adore the whistle necklace from Crafty Little Gnome. But the best are the acorn boxes and door stops from Cattails Studio. Thanks for the chance. Fingers crossed.

  426. Tami says:

All wonderful – I’ll be pinning like crazy!

  427. Robin says:

Lee Valley is my FAVORITE STORE ever! Al of your other sponsors have wonderful stuff too.

  428. Kari says:

The cake stand is so beautiful. I’d love it. Or, the rough linen.

  429. Lianne D. says:

Oh how to choose!! I’ve narrowed it down to the spectacular cake stand from Cattails, the wealth of seeds from Cubits and the insane selection from Lee Valley!! ♥

  430. Deb says:

Wow, you have some amazing sponsors! These prizes are all really nice and I’ve already picked some items to add to my holiday shopping list.

    Thanks for recommending them.

  431. Elise says:

I have been OBSESSED with the wood cake stands since you shared your sponsors months ago. As a cake stand hoarder (bought 4 more this weekend) I would LOVE to have one of those beauties!!!

  432. Lifesart says:

How much do I love Lee Valley! I have ordered so many things from them and never have I been disappointed. I also love Greymount Paper and have received and gifted many of their items. I’d love to win anything from any of these great vendors. Cheers!

  433. megan says:

I am over here drooling over ALL OF IT. So fancy 🙂

  434. Rebecca says:

!!!! Not that I need yet another cake stand but I would hands down pick the wood cake platter…or maybe the walnut shorty. 😉

  435. Elinor says:

I need a spirit lifter. The cake stand sure would do the trick. And those dryer balls!

  436. Traci says:

Trying this again. Website wouldn’t load when I hit post comment. I’m guessing everyone wants a chance at this awesome stuff! You have great sponsors!

I’d go Lee Valley, Cubits, or that beautiful cake stand. I don’t know how one would narrow it down to 2 because I had trouble getting down to 3!

  437. Sara says:

I would be the happiest girl on earth if I won the Cubits seeds. I bought a bunch of seeds from them last year, dug up my entire front yard, made the vegetable garden of my dreams, and just as everything was starting to sprout… we had to move. I tried to transplant my (green zebra!) tomatoes but they didn’t survive. The only thing I got to harvest before the big move was the basil! It was enough basil to make pesto for a year, but still. I miss my garden.

  438. Jean Mann says:

When I visited some new found friends in Calgary, they took me to Lee Valley. I’d never heard of it –gasp! Now, years later, I spend many a lunch time browsing their catalogues. ( Note the -gues, I’m feigning Canadian, eh?) Of course, in the give-away, Lee Valley, Lee Valley, Lee Valley…

  439. Susan says:

Love the peacock skull design of tea towels on Diamond Dust. Love everything that Brenda does at Cattails but she doesn’t have dog stuff any more! The Cubits seed of the month ( x 2!!) would have me waiting impatiently for the mail. Lee Valley…aah, my favourite online shopping place. Rough Linens…swoon.

  440. Lisa KT says:

Love, love, LOVE the geode necklace! I would totally keep that for myself. Shhhh….don’t tell my sweaty uncle. 🙂

  441. Megan McClure says:

Definitely the cake stand from Cattails Studio!

  442. Stacey Vass says:

I would love the Cubits seeds or the Narciso Rodriguez perfume. Well, actually I loved everything, but I’m trying not to be greedy.

  443. Karen Murray says:

    Hi Karen!
Fun looking…I’d have to say Lee Valley gets my vote. My husband has been wanting to start some woodworking and it looks like they have a great selection (and he is impossible to shop for, so this would really really help me out. And he would so appreciate not getting another pair of socks). I also saw some great bird feeders for myself and my 97 year old grandmother….where I get my bird-loving genes.
Thank you and all the best to you!
    ~Karen

  444. Beth says:

Wowsa! I really love the seeds and the dryer balls, but I wouldn’t kick any of those other gifts out of bed! ? What a wonderful contest! Can’t wait to see who gets what. Happy Thanksgiving!

  445. Marcia says:

How to decide – einy, meiny, miny, moe (not sure if these are spelled correctly?)- still no help!
Would be happy with any of the wonderful items shown.
    Lovely!

  446. Beth says:

Also should add that the extra seeds would go to my sis in Tennessee, as she is the one who turned me on to all that is Karen!

  447. Tres says:

All of your sponsors are great. I would love to win; there are so many wonderful gifts on those sites – both for others and myself 🙂

  448. Liz says:

The Cattails Studio cake stand and Lee Valley gift certificate. I made my own dryer balls and LOVE them so it was a toss up over those. Rough Linen is my “stress relief” site to window shop at. The duvet is number one on my wish list. The Cubit’s seeds sound like they would be the beginning of a new hobby…. I might just have to get a subscription… much better than a wine club!

Karen, on a different subject, do you like the cold frame lifter you told us about a while ago? I’m thinking of getting one.

  449. Leslie says:

Dryer balls for me, please. I know, I’m easy. Doesn’t take much to make me happy!

  450. Marion says:

My choices would definitely be the Cattails Studio cake stand and the Ellenoire set/gift cards! Fingers crossed over here!!!

  451. Miriam Mc Nally says:

Rough Linen, Rough Linen, Rough Linen, Rough Linen,Rough Linen.
Anything from their site, it all looks very beautiful.

  452. Angela says:

This is a tough decision! So many beautiful gifts to choose from. I am in a tie between the Crafty Little Gnome, love anything from her, and the Rough Linen tea towels! I hunt in antique stores and flea markets for real linen towels so new ones would be a treat! Good Luck to everyone!

  453. Teresa J says:

Would love the Lee Valley GC and the Jewellery GC from Crafty Little Gnome! So interesting!!! Or maybe some Rough Linen items, so much to choose from!!

  454. Wendi Miller says:

I WANT! Geez, it would be so hard to choose…so many loverly things!

  455. Leah says:

Beautiful items! Completely in love with the cake stand

  456. Lynn says:

Lee Valley for me…love their stuff!

  457. Angela Kirk says:

There is so much at Lee’s Valley I would like to have – starting with those dough whisks!

  458. Debbie says:

All of your sponsors have truly wonderful stuff. I absolutely love the cake stand and the linens and the seeds would come in right handy in my garden as well as my friends garden.

  459. Gwen Jackson says:

What a super giveaway; so many awesome items and certainly one of a kind too. I would love to win and give some of these gifts away to friends and family.

  460. Dede says:

It’s my turn to win this year as I didn’t win last year. Cattails Studio and all or anything else. Thank you. xox

  461. Stef says:

    Love those dryer balls!

  462. Suzanne says:

All this stuff is wonderful. I would probably go for the seeds and the jewelry. And then for the linen items. Thanks for providing the links so we can go shopping even though we don’t win. But most of all, thanks for making my Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings fun and enjoyable – reading your blog always gives me a great start.

  463. Bev says:

Seeds, yes I love to garden!

  464. Nicole says:

First choice would have to be Lee Valley gift certificate! Always love browsing through their store. Second choice is a toss up so many good options 🙂

  465. Other Karen says:

Ohhhhh, I am lusting after the Geode slice and raw amethyst necklace from the CraftyLittleGnome! GORGEOUS!! And I will DEFINITELY be purchasing a whackload (that’s an actual amount) of stuff from Rough Linen very VERY soon!

  466. Tasha says:

Oh – Lee Valley so many fabulous things. My mom wants a Haws watering can, so that is on the list. I also have an odd weakness for stationary. Odd, because I don’t really send Christmas cards or birthday cards anymore. Cubits seeds – thank you for the reminder, mom wants…crap something from there. Very useful post. Thanks!

  467. Dianna says:

I love the cake stand from Cattails. Can I have the cake as well? My second choice would be a tough one as I love your choice of tea towels (but would use for looks only as they are so pretty), but I would really use the gift card from Lee Valley, once again lots of things there I like & use.

  468. Nanette says:

Wow Karen! What a great way to start the holiday shopping. Free gifts! You have excellent taste by the way.
I started making a very large wish list but settled on these to start:
Lee Valley Tools – Pétanque set (a favorite game with my daughter) and the Pop top popcorn popper
Crafty Little Gnome – beautiful pieces but my favorites were the Skeleton key and purple geode lariat necklace and the Gold crane origami necklace with the Seafoam pearl

  469. jenny says:

    gimme gimme!!

  470. Amy says:

You have a mighty nice spread of gifts there! I love all of them, but if pushed to choose that geode necklace (and a lot of her other necklaces) are what I would love to receive, and those cake stands are up there too!

  471. Jim Mills says:

    Karen:
I am a long time Lee Valley person (took their seminar last week) so that would be my wish.
    Thanks
    Merry Christmas
    Jim

  472. Kayla says:

Oh my goodness gracious that cake stand is gorgeous.

  473. Vanessa Devoto says:

It has become clear that I have an addiction to cake stands. I have 3 (or maybe 7) So I would absolutely pick that I think I will be ordering the seeds for my Aunt even if I don’t win it so maybe the jewelry or Lee Valley. How cool is that?

    Happy Turkey Day!!

  474. Nancy says:

I’m into cake stands lately and I think my second pic…rough linen!

  475. Carlette Jewell says:

I would love any of this, but especially the Cubit’s subscription, or covers from Rough Linen!

  476. Carla says:

You have such great shops on your site Karen. Hard to decide. Love so many of them. I want to win.

  477. Super birdies, Cacti and Octopi, what’s not to like!
A great and generous giveaway from you and your sponsors.
thanks so much for sharing and a few days of anticipation.
    cheers

  478. Trish says:

I have loved the Ruff Linen sheets and all the other linen products but I’d start with the sheets …thanks for a chance to win…love your blog…I laugh I cry I learn I’m happy!

  479. Jasmine says:

Wow! Any of those gifts would be great to win, but I lust (even if that’s slightly inappropriate) after anything from Rough Linen. Lee Valley would be fun too, because of the angst I would feel trying to decide.

  480. Kellie says:

A sparkle from hell probably has a better chance than I but hey, here goes.
    I love the dryer balls.
All the rest of the stuff looks gorge too.
P.S. Gargantuan Giftmas Giveaway is GREAT.

  481. Christie says:

I am also in LOVE with Rough Linen – do I want the oatmeal or black pinafore? I KNOW I want my bed dressed in Rough Linen….

Thanks for being so jolly – and on a side note – I took on your Christmas pledge – although I won’t be completely done by December 1st, I’ve made a serious dent in the craziness!

  482. jane says:

    I love the cake stand

  483. Betty Mix says:

Lee Valley is a wonderful site. Lots for every interest. The geodes are a special interest of our family.

You are indeed the gift that keeps on giving, Karen<:} And the new website is tres cool!

  493. Lynne says:

I got lost in all of those pages, it’s so very hard to choose!
A Cattails Woodwork cake stand has been on my wish list forever so definitely that would be my first choice. The Seed of the Month Club subscription is also on my list, my sweetheart just built a raised bed enclosed garden at our new house in preparation for Spring planting 🙂
    Thank you for the opportunity!

  494. Erica says:

Ever since you introduced rough linen on your site, I’ve wanted it! So now would be the PERFECT time! (Anytime would be the perfect time to win rough linen.)

  495. Mari Jo MacCallum says:

I’m loving everything and if I get picked, it will be hard to chose something, but since I am retiring very soon, I am leaning toward Lee Valley since finally I will be able to do major damage in my kitchen.

  496. Cindy Blackwell says:

    1. What a great way to see how closely we read what you put out there. I don’t contribute too often but, who could refuse a gift offer from you-who-can-anything!
    2. First option, of course, would be Lee Valley. What’s not to like there. Memor foam knee pad. Marvelous!
    3. Second option would be crafty Little Gnome. I love the geode. And she is from jest up the road a piece from me.
    4. Thanks for providing me with some great options for DH’s shopping recommendations.

  497. My chickens with sweaters and I love the cake stand! It would be perfect to put my off the charts coconut cake on! And the Rough Linen is amazing!

  498. Katie says:

Oh my gosh! That rough linen stocking would go perfectly with my Christmas decorating theme this year. It’s old cars and trucks carrying Christmas trees. Yep… that’s my theme. Oh, plus burlap, and pops of red. What? Too specific? I know. That’s why I need to win the stocking! Thanks for doing this give away! You and your sponsors are the BEST!

  499. Ian says:

So maybe there’s a possibility I could turn a selfish wish into something that also benefits others. In a dream of winning this giveaway I would use the seeds to grow food, cook them in my new Lee Valley cookware and continuously make delicious food for friends and family.

    #karenrocks

p.s. that’s not to aid in increasing my chances of winning, it’s just a true statement

p.s.s. thanks to the art of doing stuff, I now feel I need chickens, screen printing, a pizza oven, naked cakes, and sarcastic cats in my life (among other DIY AODS things and stuffs)

    • Karen says:

O.K., well let’s act on those feelings. Get chickens, start screen printing, build an oven, get naked. ~ karen!

  500. Kim Kilmer says:

Wow, wow, wow! What a beautiful assortment of gifts! I have to put Lee Valley right at the top of my list. Went thru their catalog and when I saw the Marcato Pasta Machine I knew that I wanted it. I have wanted a pasta machine for soooooo long, but no one has given me one as a gift and I rarely if ever buy anything for just me. Of course, there would be a few dollars left on that certificate, so I would share and get my husband one of the Suprabeam Flashlights. I have no idea why, but he has this “thing” for flashlights. In the middle of the night, instead of turning on lights in the house to find his way around to raid the refrigerator or pantry, he will pull out a flashlight…….I know odd. Not like he’s trying not to wake me, because I sleep like the princess on the pea. Then there is Clean Sypria…..love those balls and you can even buy scent! While I agree the Van Gogh is lovely, the Blue Lagoon made me swoon!

  501. Dava Thomas says:

So many beautiful things to choose from. I would have to choose the Cubits seed collection for myself, and my friends in California who are somewhat new to veggie gardening. Also, the Lee Valley gift because I love that bowl, and I don’t have any mixing bowls that don’t have cracks or chips in them.

  502. Kat says:

    Cubits and Lee Valley.
    Seeds and tools.
Coffee and cream. Chickens and goats. Bees and ducks.
    Fingers and toes crossed.

  503. This is a GREAT list and, frankly, I want it all! With the seeds and jewelry being lower on my list…just due to my personal interests, not because they are not also great gifts. My faves are the cake stands, linen items, body lotions, and kitchen gadgets. Thanks for turning me on to so many great new providers. I am crossing my fingers that your funky computer software picks meeeeeeeeee!!!! Thanks in advance, Santa!!

  504. Beth says:

Oh…the seeds of the month from Cubits would be wonderful for myself and my best friend, but I would love to win the Lee Valley or Crafty Little Gnome Jewelry for my mother-in-law. Too hard to choose!! Loved browsing the sponsors’ sites too!

  505. Sonja says:

Oh. My. Goodness. What choices! The turned walnut stand is Beautiful! I know from following your suggestion and ordering my seeds last summer from Cubit’s, that the seed of the month would be fantastic. I’m guessing that after following yet another suggestion of yours (bucket list I believe) and ordering myself some Magno La Toja (I went for BOTH bar soap and shower gel!), that Ellenoire would be just as wonderful Rough Linen sheets are on my ‘to get $omeday’ list, so the stocking et al would be a nice introduction. Oh, and the perfume…you can NEVER go wrong with perfume! And Lee Valley…..Perfect gifts for everyone I want to give to this year! 🙂 You have the BEST taste of any blogger in the world!

  506. Mel Robicheau says:

Oh! These are a few of my favourite things!
You got me hooked on Cubits seeds a few years ago and I would love to win a subscription for myself and I would seems the second one to my husband”s great Uncle Fred in Nova Scotia who has the BEST garden and is an awesome farmer. My mother-in-law makes beautiful cakes and I would love to win her a cake stand. They are all gorgeous.
But then I also could get a veggie spiralizer and mandolin or a dozen gardening tools from Lee Valley, wool balls in Blue Lagoon or Dreamy Swirl or a message in a bottle necklace. When he was a baby my 2 year old loved me singing You Are My Sunshine and my 8 month old loves Twinkle Twinkle, so it would be nice to have that close heart.
I love the I’m Super cards. I *may* be known to throw a blanket over my shoulders and race around the house so they gave me a chuckle. I’ve also be dying to try anything by Rough Linen. Especially those cocktail napkins which have been pinned to my “really want” board for years!
What amazing prizes and sponsors! Thanks for the chance to win!

  507. Deborah M says:

Love the necklace, the Lee Valley site had several items (most importantly the things that shred meat, we love our piggies here in the South), and the wool dryer balls!

  508. Cathryn says:

Ya gotta put a warning out for we unsuspecting, simple, Aussie folk !!! . . . “have ample liquid handy whilst browsing links!” I’m dehydrated from all the drooling! AND I’ve had my phone sitting in a bowl of rice for hours ? What wonderfully creative and clever people are you and your sponsors. Wood turning, jewellery making, needle point, card making . . wonderful gifts for selfish-me or begrudgingly-giving me. Great stuff. (Are Aussies eligible . . being that we’re on the underside of the planet!!??)
Thanks for sharing the knowledge and the laughs Karen. ?

  509. beth says:

I would like to win … and isn’t Lee Valley a fun rabbit hole to drop into!

  510. Gayle says:

Wowza! Lee Valley and Rough Linen! Hope I win some of these fabulous prizes.

  511. Maria Adams says:

I have purchased from Brenda in the past. Her pieces are works of art.

  512. Cindy says:

The l’absolu sound divine. I would have to choose that first. I would have to get the seeds of the month for my best friend. She’s the one that plays in the dirt, better than I do anyway 🙂

  513. Dana says:

Mmmm, the hair towel (or even better the turban) would be great. But then I’d have to choose between linen goodies and those gorgeous embroidered tea towels. And so my mind is made up: pick me last please, I can’t bear to have to choose!!

  514. Maria says:

I simply must have that Cattails Studio walnut cake stand! Oh the things I would bake and display! My little helpers would be the cooking package from Lee Valley! Such a wondrous giveaway!!

  515. connie says:

Wow- they all sound terrific! So I browsed and browsed some more and I have to say I’m partial to the Lee Valley certificate, but the embroidered tea towel is also lovely and aren’t those dryer balls nifty little things from Clean Sypria! I’m also thinking the seed prize from Cubits would be perfect for my twin sister and I. We both love to garden, so it would be perfect too! Pls and thx Karen 🙂

  516. Melisssa Duits says:

The Lee Valley site has so many choices – really fun to browse. And the Greymount cards made me smile. Beautiful and whimsical – just how I like my art. 🙂

  517. Liz says:

The Greymount stationery – simply wonderful!! Am totally loving the cardinal cards. A card for absolutely everyone on my list.

  518. Stephanie says:

I would pick the tea towels. I really like the one you pictured but I like the vintage animals too. I am a sucker for a cake stand too but I could buy all the Lee Valley and be soooo happy!

  519. Amy says:

The cake stand from Cattail please, or really any of the gorgeous wood pieces they are selling!

  520. Safetydog says:

OMG I would love the Rough Linen stocking and dryer balls. But all of your sponsors are fabulous.

  521. Cindy says:

I would definitely like to win! These items are beautifully crafted- they’re like art.

  522. elizabeth rubenstein says:

Oh my gosh…….would love the necklace, or the Rough Linen, or maybe something from Lee Valley….maybe it won’t be so tough to choose….just call me and I’ll make up my mind then ! 🙂
Thank you Karen for this wonderful Giveaway !!

  523. Carole says:

How to decide??? I would be really happy with any of them. I will be shopping from several of these sites. Thank you, Karen.

  524. SarahP says:

So hard to decide. I’d be happy with any of them but since I live local and can go to Ellenoire or Lee Valley anytime. I’d choose Cattails Walnut Cake Stand and Cubits Seed of the Month. Thanks Karen!

  525. Violet Rose says:

I just love the word Cattails, always have. I thought it was ’cause the flowering spike on the bulrush looks like a cat’s tail when they are straight up like a flag- cat’s do this when they’re on a mission or feeling proud of themselves. However, it’s really from the resemblance to cat ‘o nine tails, the wicked looking whips.
I had to investigate further and found out some interesting Cattail facts at

    http://www.eattheweeds.com/cattails-a-survival-dinner/

    Cattails: Swamp Supermarket

The United States almost won WWII with cattails.

No green plant produces more edible starch per acre than the Cat O’ Nine Tails; not potatoes, rice, taros or yams. Plans were underway to feed American soldiers with that starch when WWII stopped. Lichen, not a green plant, might produce more carbs per acre. One acre of cattails can produce 6,475 pounds of flour per year on average (Harrington 1972)…..It is said that if a lost person has found cattails, they have four of the five things they need to survive: Water, food, shelter and a source of fuel for heat—the dry old stalks. The one item missing is companionship.

They are also called punks or corn dog grass.

We also have Cattails in Australia, called cumbungi or bulrush. I love their so soft fluffy feel.

I realise I have completely gone sideways here and will just say
I’d be happy with anything, anything at all and
thanks for providing such a fantastic competition!

    • Karen says:

Yup. You’ve definitely gone a bit sideways, lol. At least it’s interesting information! Points for that! ~ karen

  526. Aleta says:

LOVE the cake stand and the linen stocking set looks fab! Thank you for the fun giveaway!!

  527. Jari J. says:

The butterfly wing earrings from Crafty Little Gnome are adorable. Or the ‘Neon Lights’ from Clean Sypria, scented with lavender or pine.

  528. Vanessa Richardson says:

Anything from Cubits, or Rough Linen, or Crafty Little Gnome… or the cake stand, oh wait I want the cooking package from Lee Valley. Can I say all of the above?

  529. Susan says:

Well, Happy Thanksgiving to you too! This is an amazing giveaway so thanks for the opportunity. I think the turned wood cake stand is the prettiest I’ve ever seen and the Lee Valley catalog is just chock full of good stuff.

  530. Vicki says:

Those are some beautiful gifts. So hard to choose but the cake stand and the geode necklace are my favorites.

  531. Sandra Lea says:

Oh my the choices, I would love anyone of them. But forced to choose, something from Ellenoire would be wonderful as I love anything lavender. And the cooking package from Lee Valley would be great, you can never have enough cooking stuff. Thanks for introducing us to these wonderful products.

  532. Sylvie says:

I am sure my garden would look so much better with the help of Cubits, and I could grow stuff I’ve never even dreamed about!

  533. KarenJ says:

The stunning cake stand and The Lee Valley Gift Certificate!
    Sharing is overrated:)

  534. Karen Coolen says:

Aside from the contest those are some really great products that I might never have found. I would pick Lee Valley and the Crafty Gnome but Cattails Studio (free shipping!) and Ellenoire both have items Im considering for gifts.

  535. Rintin says:

Oooooo!! Pick me! Pick me!! I covet the seeds and the wool dryer balls … and the cake stand, tea towels, linen stocking and the greeting cards… all the things!! Such a lovely assortment of treasures. I’m crossing all my digits.
    Thank you!

  536. Betsy says:

I love love the cattails cake stand and the crafty little gnome necklace! Beautiful.

  537. Rachel Garber says:

Oooooh the cake stand so I could finally feel like an adult!

  538. Beth says:

Love the Lee Valley catalog – definitely one to return to for a variety of holiday gifts – not just cooking, either! Glad to know about these retailers – thanks –

  539. It’s cruel to make us pick just one. I’m going to choose the Cubit’s seeds. Now I’ll spend the evening wondering if I should have selected Lee Valley.

  540. I’ve always been a fan of Lee Valley, use notecards and linen tea towels all the time. Even have a favourite gemstone necklace. But honestly, have never, ever, ever seen such a drop-dead gorgeous cake stand before. Ever. Did I say ever? Then I went through their site. The Acorn topped doorstop? The monogrammed cutting board with the heart, arrows & initials? The mason bee home? Heavenly. But they had me at the cake stand – or should I say – cheese stand, fruit stand, anything I wanted to keep on my counter because I would never put the cake stand away. Just sayin.

  541. Amy in KC says:

I am dying laughing at those Greymount Paper & Press Cards. The kitten by the Christmas tree is too perfect! And I have had CraftyLittleGnome’s Etsy shop “favorited” for a while because I keep intending to buy my sister one of the butterfly wing necklaces or earring sets. But I am IN LOVE with the little origami crane charm! I could go crazy in her shop if I win!

Thank you, Karen and your sponsors, for this awesome giveaway!

  542. Heather says:

OOOOOOOOh! boy I would love to be one of the lucky lucky winners . I think Lee Valley would be the prize I would pick . I am a gardener so I have so very many seeds that I simply don’t know what to do with all of them so that kinda eliminates that prize for me . I drooled over the cake plate but have a number of them already . So Lee Valley it is for me and even if I don’t win I found a number of items that are going to be perfect for Christmas giving and fortunately for me a Lee Valley store is not that far away. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to enter and no matter what happens I would like to say I have been enjoying visiting your site , love your humour and feel like that I have found a kindred spirit .

  543. Maureen Locke says:

Oh Karen, how long would one have to make their decision?? I don’t know if I’d be able to make a choice on short notice. Either way, I’d love to be chosen to try and make that choice. I’d be so very happy with any of the beautiful prizes that your wonderful sponsors have offered up. I need to go spend more time checking out the options 🙂

  544. Joanie Brown says:

    There’s not a single thing that isn’t wonderful. 🙂

  545. Joslynne says:

Love the necklaces at Crafty Little Gnome!! I’m going to get the origami crane for my sister’s birthday – so cute and thanks for the giveaway.

P.S. Love the new look of your site! Change is a good thing!

  546. Christina says:

My daughter has had a tough year and I would love to let her buy some tools from Lee Valley for her art. We love that store!

  547. KimfromMontana says:

Droooollll, Droooolll, Droooolll. I’d already been drooling over the Cattails Woodworks items. Then I had to go and check out the website. Then I had to go and buy Christmas presents for my mother. The Rough Linen products are also calling my name. Thanks so much for your awesome site! Love the remodel. Merry Christmas!

  548. Karen C says:

The cake stands are beautiful, and I love all the “stuff” at Lee Valley!

  549. Betsy Hu says:

I love the wedding cake stand! So timeless, so beautiful.

  550. Bee Hu says:

The acorn button box is too cute! I would use it to hold cotton balls on my vanity.

  551. Xueying says:

    that acorn birdhouse is incredible.

  552. Amber Miele says:

I’m always clicking your Rough Linens link, and every time I look at those bedsheets I swoon. I can wait and save up, I loved the samples from them, I’ll just keep asking the husband! 😉 I’d adore ANYTHING rough linen!

I purchased the mini-drawer pull outs for sponges (like you did) from Lee Valley after you posted it. That space always bugged me, and I needed to use it up like you!

Embroidered Dish Towels; It’s my family history. It’s all we have here from my grandmothers side. All old English embroidery, and always used a decoration in all my families homes. I love them, and hope to pick a few for Christmas! (i’d probably get caught since I didn’t make them myself, but who would know!?)

Wooden cake stand? I’m sure i’d be a lot nicer than my chipped ceramic one I got at goodwill… Brenda makes such wonderful pieces. I LOVE LOVE the Cake platter one, (as it’s all I pretty much bake and eat!)

I checked all the sites, but commented on the ones I’m most interested in, since that’s the stuff which captivates me! Thank you for making this giveaway! I’m super stoked to enter!

  553. Kori says:

The cake stand and the seeds would be amazing!

  554. Anita Erskine says:

Oh such delicious choices! Crafty Little Gnome or Greymount Paper, or…Lee Valley and Veritas. Or…..

  555. Jeannie Emond says:

How do you pick? Even with the option to pick two…amazing artisans…Love the Geode necklace, but the dryer balls are pretty sweet too. Makes doing the chores a little fancy!!

  556. Lesley says:

Wow, some great ideas for gifts in here. I love it all.

For me, being practical, if I won anything, I would choose the Lee Valley gift certificate; it’s my favourite store for hardware and gardening tools. I love how they have so many unique things that you can’t find at the big-box stores.

Loving the cake stand too! I have a cake-stand obsession; I’ve bought 3 in the last 2 weeks, but I haven’t got a beautiful walnut one yet…nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

  557. Rose Petal says:

I love the wooden cake stand, someday I want to get her oatmeal spittle, or whatever it’s called. LOVE IT

  558. Alyssa H says:

I would love the cake stand and cooking set!

    Thanks!

  559. Deborah Fischer says:

Tell you what I’d like? Umm, all of it!?
The beautiful wooden cake stand knocks my socks off ?

  560. Marie-Claire says:

The Cubit’s seeds! I’m not a gardener myself, but my husband loves spending hours and hours planning the layout of our tiny city lot. This is a great gift idea!

  561. Debbie says:

Oh I would love to have the seeds, or the Lee Valley gift, just to win anything ever would be nice too

  562. Barb says:

I love every single prize!! The Greymount Paper & Press greeting cards are all so adorable. Love Rough Linen and drool when I get their newsletter. I’ve bought seed from Cubits – such fun! I would give the other seed subscription to my Bestie. I’ve never used wool dryer balls but am intrigued and looking at all the scents at CleanSypria made me hungry! Speaking of scents (Lab Consignment), who doesn’t love smelling good? My daughter is getting married next year so I could see me giving her that Cattails Studio walnut cake stand or the baking set from Lee Valley as she is so into baking. The geode necklace from Crafty Little Gnome is gorgeous (mine, mine, mine!) and I think their message in a bottle is such a stinking cute idea. I like the vintage bear, squirrel and fox towels best at Diamond Dust Studio but I don’t think I could bear to ever use them or get them dirty. LOL! For looking only, no wiping!! Ellenoire? What can I say? The “Stop Snoring Oil” would be at the top of my list.

  563. Naomi Brun says:

Everything is so beautiful – it’s hard to pick. If I were chosen, I’d love the cake stand and the embroidered tea towels, but the geode necklace is pretty tempting, too. I took a look at the websites and there’s lots more good stuff there, too. Great Christmas ideas for those of us not so far along in the Pledge.

    Thanks,

    Naomi

  564. Donna R says:

OMG, I love the walnut table plank from Cattails Woodwork…or the origami crane necklace from Crafty Little Gnome.

  565. Sharon L says:

Hi Karen. I look forward to you missives whenever they come. This is my first with the ‘gift’ event. I would love the Rough Linen. I actually ‘tried’ to copy their pinafore from a damask table cloth that my Mom gave to her granddaughter to save her wedding dress from the pizza dinner at the reception. ‘Tried’, being the operative word.
The dryer balls from Clean Sypria are lovely. I made my own (and use 8) from a recycled, unraveled sweater. Their’s are so much more lovely and inspirational. So would love to give them as a quirky, useful gift.
Thank you. Love your energy. It leaps from the laptop!
    Sharon

  566. Stephanie Hobson says:

I’m a sucker for kitchen gadgets, so Cattails, Diamond Dust, or Lee Valley would be at the top of my list. Picking something from any of those stores would be difficult. I do have a Raku pottery bowl that would look lovely on one of the cake stands.

OMG Karen, do you know about or have you seen Raku firing of pottery? If not, don’t look it up!!!! Next thing you know you’ll be acquiring a pottery wheel and building a kiln! So. Much. Fun!!!!

  567. Megan says:

Easy peasy, a cake stand because they are beautiful and I’ve always wanted one, and the rasp from Lee Valley for the same reason – I have given them as gifts before, but never to myself. ? Thanks!

  568. Jody says:

Wow. Love Rough Linen’s pinafores. Think this time I would go with black or indigo. All serious outside but hidden would be “Fun Betty” dye from Ellenoire.

  569. Jaclyn says:

Oooooh stationary! Love the cards, especially the animal holiday cards. And lace and geode necklaces! Added to my list for someone for Christmas!

  570. Jackie says:

Choices . . . so many wonderful choices! Lee Valley and Wool Dryer Balls . . . no Lee Valley and a cake plate . . . no Lee Valley and Greymount Cards . . . guess I need some help in my decision making!

  571. RebeccaS says:

Cubit’s Seed of the Month sounds amazing. I would share it with my dad, the source of my love for gardening. But wow, the cake stand, Rough Linen, Lee Valley, this is a pretty great Giveaway!

  572. Susan Miller says:

Oh, please choose me! Love your taste and dying for so many!

  573. Charles A says:

I always love Lee Valley, and the cake stands look great, too. Most of the others would make great gifts for my wife.

  574. Samantha says:

That Geode necklace has my name written all over it! I love natural jewelry and that one ticks all the boxes!!

  575. Jenny Brandon says:

I’m crossing my fingers and toes for seeds and cards and linens and yarn balls – these are a few of my favorite things!

  576. Holly Jansen says:

Visited the Lee Valley website… Most awesome gardening supplies! There’s a pair of work pants with my name on me!

  577. Brenda says:

LOVE Lee Valley and Crafty Little Gnome! Everything is unique and beautiful!

  578. Ann says:

Would love any of these things. The necklace is beautiful and I agree with you that Rough Linen has to be one of the most gorgeous textile lines out there.

  579. Mindy says:

I love, love, love those wallet cake pedestals.

  580. Mindy says:

    Um, walnut, not wallet.

  581. Kim says:

Oooooh so many good prizes. I am loving the paper crane pearl necklaces, since I used to fold those obsessively as a kid from the Etsy shop. I am also in love with walnut and cupcakes so the cake stand would be a must for me! Thank you for putting this together!

  582. Fran Burke says:

Wow… Everything is so beautifully made. It would be wonderful to receive any of the gifts offered.
Thank you so much for letting me know of this site.

  583. Lisa Mitchell says:

Rough Linen for sure! I’m already ordering pinafores for my Aunt and my niece – but a I would LOVE a set of sheets/duvet set for myself!

I gave french rolling pins from Cattails for Christmas last year – and all the recipients loved them. Karen, you make my “hard to buy for” Christmas list easy to fill.

    Thanks!

    Lisa

  584. Fran Burke says:

Wow… Everything is so beautiful. It would be so nice to receive any of the gifts offered.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explore this site. I will let other people know.

  585. Kat says:

To all who enter this contest I Wish You Good Luck One And All!!! I will not be entering this year as I was the winner from last year and I am not greedy. I want everyone else to have fun and enjoy Karen and her sponsors gifts. But that necklace sure makes it tempting. So from Me to You and all the Who Merry Christmas from Kat.

  586. Maria says:

I would really like the embroidered tea towels or the seed of the month club. It would be hard to choose.

  587. Karen says:

I am so excited for this year’s give away. Hard to decide which would be my choice, but I’ll spend the next few days daydreaming.

  588. Donna says:

Wow…..how does anyone choose two favorites. The incredibly wantable cake stands. gorgeous? lee Valley with their line of Star Wars. I know that’s not their giveaway but I can sure see buying them to give to myself as Xmas presents. and the seeds, and the embroidered towels and oh, just on and on.

    Great giveaways. Very generous
    donna

  589. Teresa Jennings Richardson says:

Can’t go wrong with any of these. The cake stand is beautiful and would make even my mama’s double fudge cake that splits every time she cooks it into at least 3 pieces from all the holes she pokes in it to pour hot fudge icing all through and over the entire cake look better than it tastes. That big ole bowl and crazy whisks naturally caught my eye as did the seeds and the geode pendant. The towels were gorgeous, the rough linen just clamors for one to touch it. Well you get the idea, call my name first or last and I’d still be happy with what I win. The key here is that my name be chosen….

  590. Cussot says:

Me, I need a shovel. Bad. Looks like there’s a trip to Lee Valley in my future, gift certificate or no gift certificate. I would have said Rough Linen – I need pillowcases to go with my two magnificent RL sheets – but those cocktail napkins just aren’t big enough to make do.

Thanks to all your sponsors, and as requested, I turned my ad blocker off!

  591. Tawnya M. says:

Oh my what lovely pretties you’re offering!!

I think that cake stand made my heart skip a beat. But, my Mom would go gaga over the seeds.. she’s such a gardener and just bought some land in “the country” so it’d be perfect.

  592. Laura says:

I so love seeing that amount of readers comment!!!!

  593. marcia says:

So many beautiful prizes to chose from! Crafty Little Gnome has some butterfly earrings…and that Geode necklace you featured ♥!!! Then, I am torn between the cake stand (my daughter has mine)……and…the dryer balls.

  594. Terri says:

The Crafty Little Gnome and Lee Valley. What a great combo!

  595. Lori says:

What a wonderful giveaway contest! I love to bake so you had me at the cake stand. Each one on the Cattails site was gorgeous. It would be hard to choose and an absolute delight to win. I can easily imagine how I would spend a gift certificate at Lee Valley (more baking stuff perhaps?) but then there are the monthly seed packets, the linen…oh my. Wish me luck 🙂

  596. Jennifer says:

Lee Valley gift certificate – fantastic! Cubit’s seeds – excellent! Diamond Dust tea towels – cool!

    • Jennifer says:

And now I’ve had a chance to look at Cattail Woodwork and I am totally smitten with the wooden jar lids.

  597. Mothercarol says:

I would love the Cubits and Lee Valley.

  598. Kate says:

You’re making us choose ONLY two things we’d want? From that list? Since I can’t wish for more wishes, I’d choose the package from Ellenoire and some gorgeous jewelry from Crafty Little Gnome. Shine and sparkle!

  599. Tina says:

Oh I would love to win … and choose the necklace….

  600. Lindsay says:

I NEED that cake stand. I follow them on IG and I absolutely love all of her products! Everything is gorgeous!

  601. Nicole Ouellet says:

What amazing sponsors you have! The cubits subscription would motivate me to give gardening another try. And I’m sure Lee Valley would help with that as well.

  602. Carole says:

Oh! My! I just love the geode necklace and it’s so affordable! The cake stand is a piece of architecture! I need seeds for 2016 and new wool dryer balls (one is almost gone after the dog stole it and played with it before I noticed) and the Wool Dryer Ball color selection inspires me to do laundry. This would be hard choices to make but I’m game to try!

  603. Cheryl says:

Some tools from Lee Valley would be a great help for my house projects! My second choice is Greymount Paper Press.

  604. Judy Levasseur says:

A lot of beautiful choices……..my favs include the embroidered tea towels and the dryer balls – weirdly enough. Maybe because I could share them with my family as stocking stuffers. Of course the Lee Valley gift card would be amazing ’cause there’s just so much there that I didn’t even realize I needed until I saw it in front of me. Selfishly the cake stand would be all mine – however I may share the cake that sits on it!

  605. Tricia says:

Everything is so tempting, but tools will get me every time!

  606. KariMcD says:

    I love dryer balls! I’m a nerd!

  607. KariMcD says:

I love dryer balls And stuff that smells good!

  608. Karen says:

I collect cake stands, but have never seen one as lovely as the one from Cattails! It is gorgeous!!! The second choice is difficult. I also love linen, need dryer balls, and Amy crazy about Lee Valley. And note cards.

  609. Amy W. says:

I’m a sucker for Rough Linen. But…the silver butterfly earrings from Crafty Little Gnome are gorgeous!

  610. Mary E says:

That cake stand is gorgeous! That and rough linen’s duvets.

  611. BethH says:

My first two choices would have to be the Cubit’s seed of the month subscription (which I may or may not share), and the gift card from Lee Valley so I could get two automatic window openers for my greenhouse and a toad house. The Diamond Dust dishtowels are right up there, and so are the dryer balls from Clean Sypria. Of course, I would love any of the indulgent pampering gifts offered by your other vendors, and the cake stand from Cattails, but I would want to have my cake and eat it, too. And I would write you a thank you note on one of the adorable cards from Graymount Paper Press if I won. Thank you for this wonderful offer, and your idea of spreading the gifts out among five lucky winners is really nice. As of now I have about a one in one hundred chance of winning, and I found a lucky penny in the street today.

  612. Carol says:

Boy, how would any one pick just 2 out of all the “goodies”………..however, I love the cakestand, the wood dryer balls and the Lee Valley products……….how much fun is that?????

  613. Debbie says:

    Choosing will be difficult!!!

  614. Becky C says:

The cake stand is so lovely! Definitely the necklace as well. .. but I so love tea towels. Tough decisions!

  615. Natalie says:

I am in love with Cattails cake stand! That would definitely be my pick.

  616. Lindsay Gallen says:

Wow, they’re all such wonderful prizes! Personally I would go with the geode jewelry or the Spa set (mommy needs some pampering!!)_

  617. Rebecca Hearsey says:

I love them all…so many great things! My first choice would be the cake stand…just stunning!!!

  618. Everything is so amazing. I love the cake stand and her bread/cheese boards are beautiful as well! The embroidered tea towels are lovely and Lee Valley of course always has something. 🙂

  619. Wanda says:

So difficult to choose. Lee Valley is already an addiction of mine….Cubits seeds make me giddy for spring….Ellenoire decadence……..Cattails muddlers or spurdles are a new need…..

Frankly it would be hard to choose, but if I’m lucky enough I’ll find a way.

  620. Andria says:

The cards, OMG, the cards. I love cards and those are some kind of amazing. Awesome, even. I ended up clicking through every single one. Love them all but especially the succulents. Also, the soaps and pampering sound mighty fine right now!

  621. Michelle says:

Love the Lee Valley stuff..have my eye on their Spiralizer…always wanted one.

As for the other prizes, will have to do EENY MEENY MINY MO. LOL All great stuff!

  622. Cheryl Young says:

I would totally take the stationary cause I love it and having moved away from many of my family and friends I could send them great notes.
I also would probably pick the Lee Valley certificate-I already have the Danish whisks but can always find great things to buy from there 🙂

  623. Gretchen Sexton says:

So many good things to choose!
I love the Greymount Paper & Press is outstanding.
Plus I love the towels and designs at Diamond Dust Studios.
And I had never even heard about Lee Valley & veritas–how cool is all their stuff!
Finally, the Rough Linen is always a favorite.
=sigh= you have such cool advertisers.

  624. Maureen says:

I would love to win the drier balls, but would be thrilled with any of your wonderful gifts. Happy Holidays.

  625. Dayle says:

Yep, I did it and now I want one of everything!!!! I’m so impressionable! Happy Thanksgiving (oh wait….you’re in Canada!) and Merry Christmas!!!!

  626. Julie says:

Wow! Thanks for the chance. Everything is awesome. I think I’d go with the dryer balls. Anything to motivate laundry these days.

  627. Benjamin says:

I would love to win an elf that looks exactly like derek hough to come frost my cake this season of giving and thankfulness. Maybe he could come with pockets full of tea towels and perfume and seeds and jewelry. OMG !!! Think I just had a hotflash…

  628. Shawna G says:

Cubits & Lee Valley. Thanks Karen and sponsors. Merry Christmas

  629. Debbie says:

I don’t know how I could possibly choose! But I’m sure I could figure something out ? Love them all!

  630. Mary says:

Ooooooohhhh!! The cake stand! The seeds! The Lee Valley gift card…..choices choices! I hope I get a chance to choose. Thanks for this chance to win some seriously fun gifts, Karen!! 🙂

  631. Jane says:

Love them all! What a generous offer from you and your wonderful sponsors! Wishing you, your readers and sponsors a Merry Christmas and wonderful holiday season!! Keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll hear from you soon!

  632. Ellen Adolf says:

You are really, really good at picking cool stuff for me to drool over and covet… AND give as gifts ~even more awesome! I’m pretty enamoured of the cake stands, but also love tea towels and linen. Heck, I’d love win any two of the available choices!

  633. Kat68 says:

It would be hard to reduce my choice down to just 2 but I’d manage somehow. The amethyst necklace would be my first choice and it would not be leaving my house!

  634. Beckster says:

Number one choice Cubits. One for me and one for my green thumbed sister. She’s Kinda like your pink tool belt sis. But would be nice to share. Second, the Cattails cake stand. Would look great with a Cubits produce display on it.

  635. Carolyn says:

Oooo so hard to choose. My favs would probably have to be the beautiful wood cake stands by Cattails. I LOVE baking, so I could put that puppy to good use! I also loved the stuff from Rough Linens. New to me, but now all I want is a pinafore!!! I’ve been collecting vintage aprons when I see one I just can’t live without. Think that came from me remembering my Grandmother always wearing one when in the kitchen baking or cooking. And who doesn’t just love Lee Valley. Such a handy place to get so many helpful items! I need some new drawer pulls and hinges for some built ins… Too many great prizes Karen! 🙂

  636. Stephanie Moxley says:

    I want it all!!!! I do! I do! I dooooooo!!!!!pleeeeeeeease!!!!!!

  637. Tammy says:

Oh, my goodness! So many lovely gift ideas! My wonderfully handy and thoughtful husband is building a greenhouse out of salvaged windows for his sweet 92 year old Mother. Monthly seed arrivals from Cubits would be a great gift for them! As the former owner of an embroidery company, I have a soft spot for the goods at Diamond Dust Studios. There are several designs that I envision framed in my kitchen or in my little grandsons playroom.
Thank you, Karen & Merry Christmas y’all!!?

  638. Margot says:

Lee Valley and everything else is super wonderful. It would be one hard choice!

  639. caryl hodgdon says:

You have lovely sponsors and you possess elegant and practical tastes. Lucky you.

  640. Melody says:

So, that cake stand is beautiful. I’d love that. I’d also love the kitchen tools. Yep. And really, who doesn’t appreciate jewelry. Frankly, perfume is really nice, too. I do really appreciate the embroidery on that hand towel though. Well, almost everything here is really great and I’d be happy with any of it. So, just feel free to pick me fifth.

  641. AnnW from the US says:

I love Rough Linen and Ellenoire!

  642. Gail says:

Great sponsors, I think my first choice would have to be the Rough Linen basket, followed closely by the Cubits Seeds!

  643. Nicci says:

The cake stand is so lovely and I’ve had my eye on it for some time now. The second pick is a bit more difficult, I love the stationary because I really enjoy sending handwritten notes and cards for all occasions, but the tea towels are gorgeous too. Very tough decisions to be made.

  644. Nancy Hart says:

I love the walnut cake stand. I looked though the other sites & like the dryer balls too (how practical) I kept coming back to the cake stand

  645. Kim says:

Oh, I’m in love with the mason jar lids from Cattails Woodwork, and I hoard cards and stationary, so I might pick the set from Greymount Paper. But then again, I have a big list from the Lee Valley Catalog, and I’d love to try a linen sheet. Too hard to pick!

  646. Julie says:

I would pick the Cubit seeds, just love gardening and share with my mom. Second pick, between Lee Valley or the dryer balls. I am so curious about those balls. Would they help getting the cat hair off my laundry? 6 cats makes for clean clothes that are still covered in fur.

  647. Ei Con says:

Cake stand first. Then Lee Valley. Or maybe Rough Linen. Oooooo! Can’t decide!!!

  648. Jody says:

That walnut cake stand is gorgeous!! And I love those linen stockings – so pretty. This is an exciting giveaway, Karen. Like, come Thursday morning (but not Wednesday midnight) I am going to be pretty excited….

  649. Sandra says:

This was really hard to choose. I am thinking a cake stand (although I am seriously considering a acorn birdhouse as my Christmas-to-myself gift this year) and the seeds. I love growing leafy things. That stocking is really great though… 🙂

  650. Sheryl Powell says:

I am hot on the trail of red dish towels so of course that caught my eye. BUT we finally started on getting our house built today after a 6 month delay so I NEED that Lee valley gift cert. They have the most awesome chrome spice racks to screw on the inside of your cabinet doors. I put them in my old house and loved them. Then there are all the door knobs, cabinet pulls, etc. I NEED it. I do.

  651. Marti says:

Wowzer. I would LOVE that cake stand. It looks like I couldn’t break it… uhhh, easily. Pretty sure I could, in fact break it, but I would have to try. As opposed to other cake stands, which I could break without really giving it too much of a second thought.

I love that mixing bowl, too. Although the Danish dough hooks look like things I could get my fingers stuck in. Or hair. In the dough. Dough hook do-hickeys with dough, stuck in hair. Not good.

Award away… I’m in for it all! Oh… and Happy AMERICAN Thanksgiving, Slackers to the North!

  652. Patt Rimmer says:

Rough Linen products all look amaze balls! Hope I get lucky.

  653. Ken Hatt says:

I so want to read a series of books from you.
When you have a moment, if you wouldn’t mind turning out a thousand pages or so.
    Cuddles can edit.

  654. Kmarie says:

I’ve been following your blog for awhile because you remind me of my funny aunt who is way cooler than I am. She has always brought funky books, great ideas, and unique humour into my life…you even share her name which is serendipitous…and I just realized this may sound really weird or creepy. Oops ha ha. Anyway, I pinned one of the pics, but I wanted to let you know that your link does not work for the Aquis hair towel. (I hate the pull of thick towels on my head but I also do not like to have my hair hanging wet after a shower…so I was hoping it offered a better solution:)
Anyway, I wish you a merry christmas season and best of luck to the winners.

  655. Teresa says:

Ohhhhhhh I like all the stuff!!!!
Would be going for some of that rough linen for myself for sure.

  656. Peggy says:

I can’t narrow it down to one. I am intrigued by the dryer balls especially when I saw that she hailed from my own state! The tea towels were exquisite, and I would have to choose one of the owl designs. The cards are beautiful, and a great reason to get back to pen and paper notes instead of texts or emails. The stocking from Rough Linen would be a great way to “put my toe in” to try it out.
Of course, the cake stands are just beautiful and I don’t know what I would put on one, but I would find something worthy of the pedestal.

  657. Linda says:

Oh la, la, la, decisions, decisions, decisions!!! It’s the most difficult thing to do for a true Libra like me.

But I’ve made up my mind and my first choice would be the body lotion products, soap, etc. followed by Lee Valley, Linen and basically any of the other gifts offered.

I would love to win. I can count on my fingers how many times I’ve won something in 57 years.

  658. Jane says:

Great giveaway! Thanks to you and your sponsors for doing this.
So much to love. The dish towels, the seeds, the jewelry, the dryer balls, the baking set. Too hard to pick. I love the five winner idea.
    Thanks again
    Jane

  659. Leona says:

Well…it’s all so lovely. That cake stand is absolutely stunning so that is definitely #1. And the perfume…I’ve been wearing the same perfume for 23 years and would love to try something new! Thanks for the great giftaway!

  660. Kathleen says:

*sniff sniff* I am positive this excludes us “foreign” subscribers… Lee Valley looks like heaven, and Crafty Little Gnome – that necklace is exquisite!
(off to cry me a river ‘cos none of those wonderful gifts will be mine!) 🙁

  661. Ashley says:

The cake stand is absolutely gorgeous. I covet anything from Rough Linen, and gardening is my summer love. I don’t know what I would choose, but I’d love to have the dilemma of deciding! 🙂

  662. Megan Beavers says:

The icers from Lee valley. For my mom so she won’t slip and fall during the winter walking in the parking lot at work.

  663. Rsoe says:

Oooh Lee Valley – so much to choose from, and Diamond Dust – towels too pretty to use!

  664. Jani says:

I loved the Lee Valley site. Thanks for sharing!

  665. Muff Hackett says:

Lee Valley for sure and then the choice would be trickier, but I am up to the task.

  666. Meghan says:

The seed delivery from Cubits is such a delightful idea! But any of the gifts would be marvellous. I adore Lee Valley and have never been disappointed with anything purchased there.

  667. gloria says:

Seeds, every month! I love getting real mail. Thanks for a great contest.

  668. peg says:

thank you, great list of giveaways! love the cake stand from Cattails or anything she makes.I have a weakens for bowls, but its the dough whisks I would love to try.everything else of course is wonderful,so it would be fun to win anything.

  669. Carla says:

Cake Stand. Or maybe the seeds. I can’t pick. Maybe the linen stocking. It’s too hard.

  670. Patricia says:

No question…the beautiful walnut cake stand! Thanks for sharing.

  671. MissChris SA says:

Dang!! wish I was not living in sunny South Africa so I could participate too.

At least we are having lovely warm sunny weather at the moment……………………… just saying! 🙂

  672. Jen says:

I would love something from Rough Linen….and Cubits!

  673. Grace says:

Definitely the Lee Valley gift certificate for me. Love that store!

  674. Terri says:

The rough linen stuffed stocking, a Lee Valley gift certificate, the geode necklace… Oh my

  675. Amy says:

I really love the Wool Dryer Balls – the Doctor Who set looks great!

  676. Gillian says:

    Well! Yes please!!

First choice…Cubits. Hands down! Second choice is a bit tougher…Lee Valley? but, shipping… Crafty Little Gnome? but, I make jewellry. ….the cake stand is beautiful but, more my sister’s thing so, no. LoL. …then there’s the Rough Linen stuff…I am intrigued to try it. …or maybe the dryer balls, equally interesting.

The choices are too good to have to pick just two. I want first choice but….oh so much pressure!! lol

Good luck to everyone but…not too much!!

  677. Katie says:

So many awesome things to choose from….I’ve got to go with the Cubits seeds (LOVE their selection!!) and the wool dryer balls by Clean Sypria….been meaning to make me some wool dryer balls and just never seem to have (make) the time for it! Plus I love supporting the artists on the Etsy shops 🙂

  678. Leanne says:

Awesome gifts – gifts for me, that is. None of the above would be gifts, except for the seeds (I live in a highrise) or the perfume (can’t do scented things), but all of the rest would be mine, all mine.

  679. Denise Beck says:

I would love the Marcato cookie press and some trunk organizers from Lee Valley Tools. I’m sure my husband would find several items in the catalog also.

  680. Kirsten says:

I would adore the tea towels, and who doesn’t love Lee valley tools?

  681. Please check your Ellenoire link, mine kept giving me an error message. I would be happy to win any of these incredible giveaways from your very generous sponsors, they are all fantastic. I am a little partial to the Greymount Paper & Press greeting cards, the Cattails walnut cake stand is really nice too, maybe the Cubits subscription, the Clean Sypria dryer balls would be useful, Rough Linen too, that being said Diamond Dust tea towels could be put to good use as with anything from Lee Valley, and then there is just the pamper items one can always enjoy like the choices from Ellenoire, Lab Consignment and the Crafty Little Gnome. So many possibilities.

  682. Alex says:

Squirrel tea towel! No, seeds! What about all those cool things I haven’t yet baught from Lee Valley? Ooooo key necklace….?I don’t know!??

  683. Pamela Manning says:

What a wonderful selection. Love the seed subscription, great idea on the road to self-sufficiency.

  684. Justine says:

Everything at Crafty Little Gnome is so gorgeous! I’d be so thrilled to win.

  685. Denise Hosner says:

I would probably end up with Lee Valley because I’m so practical and gadgety, besides, I signed up for their newsletter so I could read more from you!

  686. Cory says:

Ooh, I sure would love that seed of the month collection! I spend a small fortune on seeds each year, and their varieties look really interesting!

  687. Karen Jeanne says:

I know what my first pick would be! It would be the cubits seed of the month club. My second choice would be… any one of the other things, because I can’t decide! So many awesome things. Thanks for the giveaway!

  688. Helen Schmidt says:

I would love to get the amethyst wrapped in copper wire in the mail! I also loved the keys on a chain.

  689. Linda says:

Lee Valley?!?!?! I love their items. Years ago, I ordered plans and they were no longer in stock. They did find a dog-eared copy and sent it to me at a vastly reduced price.
Also I would love a pinafore from Rough Linen? Have you heard about my baking? Awesome cook, just messy.
    😉

  690. Judy says:

Love your gift offerings! The necklace is lovely but I love Lee Valley anything. Thanks.

  691. Athena R says:

Those tea towels are gorgeous. They’re almost too pretty to use.

  692. Carol says:

I would love the seeds and the dryer balls, but I would also love any of the other things as well.

  693. michelle romaniuk says:

Would like the butterfly necklace as it would remind me of monarchs and of course the geode necklace, the beautiful tea towels as I still dry dishes by hand and the cooking package from Lee Valley Tools for the big guy!

  694. Tammy S says:

Oh My! Decisions, decisions! I adore the raw crystal and copper wire necklace from Crafty Little Gnome – and love most of the other stuff on that site!
Lee Valley – what’s not to love about a place that has awesome garden supplies, cool kitchen stuff and some toys for the kids (or someone who ACTS like a kid!).
    Thank you for the giveaway!

  695. Lyn H. says:

Hi Karen. Such a lovely gesture from you and your sponsors! It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas! Everything on this list is unique and looks to be of the highest quality. So hard to choose, but I would probably go for the body products from Ellenoire and a scent from Lab Consignments. Merry Christmas!

  696. Luanne says:

I surely want one of everything – and the top two are Cubits Seeds and Lee Valley.

(I thought I had already commented, and came back in to check, and there it was – gone. Has this happened to anyone else?)

  697. Nicola says:

Wow! December is almost here! Got our real first snow fall here in southern Quebec.

I would love something from Rough Linen, Cubits and Cattail Studios! So generous of them!

My heart will not rest until it has every embroidered tea towel. W.O.W.

  699. Linda Blacklock says:

What lovely generous gifts. I would love the jewellery from Crafty Little Gnome, Wool Dryer Balls or the beautiful cake stand. Thank you to you and your sponsors for the chance to win a gift for Christmas.

The Cubit’s subscription is where it’s at though!

  705. Gail Schellenberg says:

Seeds and more seeds!! Just built new raised garden boxes for spring – it would be perfect! Then add rough linen or the cake stand or the necklace or …

  706. Olivia says:

I would pick to Crafty Little necklace! And what a great deal… going to order one now!.
    Happy USA Thanksgiving! Olivia

drooling over seeds. any seeds. love seeds. and Lee Valley, oh my. you Karen, can be a tease!

  709. ellen says:

The Ellenoire products are seductive – can never have enough indulgence around here. Also with long hair the hair towel is an appealing idea. Heavy terry just does not do the job so well.

  710. lilly says:

    off i go.

  714. Jules says:

Anything from cattails. Truly. I love the cake stand and the jar toppers!

  715. Hey – there are new posts! Here I’ve been thinking that you were still ironing out issues with the new site design because every time I cam I saw the same thing – the 5 easy xmas gifts post. I didn’t scroll down because I assumed if there were new posts they would be top of the page. Ack.

Anyway – I got my sis and s-i-l rough linen pinafores for xmas. And I am curled up under a rough linen duvet as I write this. Great stuff.

    • Karen says:

Hi Lianne! If you just go up to the very top left of the page and enter your email address you’ll get emailed every time there’s a new post. 🙂 (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) ~ karen!

      • Oh – I know, but that’s not how I roll. I have my blogs that I visit regularly because they post regularly- you & Remodelista, for example. For the more sporadic bloggers I subscribe to their feed via Bloglovin. I don’t like getting individual email notifications from each blog.

  716. Jodie Bobco says:

    All things Lee Valley!!!!

    and if I win-

    THANK YOU!

  719. SUSAN says:

As a die hard gardener, Lee Valley and the Cubit seeds for sure. But then there’s that gorgeous cake stand, and perfume! I love perfume! And linen! And that kitten card with the fallen tree!

  720. Sabina says:

I’ve been drooling over my Lee Valley Christmas catalog for a week now so that would definitely be my first choice. My next pick would be seeds from Cubits. Thanks Karen!

  721. Amanda Renea says:

Oh my, I’d love one of those cake stands! I wouldn’t even be able to choose one from her website, though, they’re all beautiful! I’d have to host someone’s birthday party just so I could use it!

  722. Michele says:

Great choices. I love linen, so Rough linen is at the top of my list, and that turned cake stand is so beautiful, I don’t think I could resist. But the seeds, with the choice of no cilantro! That’s great too, and the embroidered towels, the cards…… All that is offered up is wonderful. Thank you to you and your sponsors.

  723. Wow! So many great gift ideas here. I love Cubit’s seeds.

  724. Kelly says:

I’m not picky nor greedy so any of the items would make GREAT gifts for family. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog!!! I am a newbie and have irritated the crap out of my fella, friends and family by reading them your past and current posts. Some (those with amazing sense of humors) have jumped on the Karen band wagon too!!! You are the best (yep, even if I don’t win a thing)!!!

  725. Lisa G. says:

Too many choices! Those cards are pretty rad, but then there’s those delicious body products! And jewelry! I can’t pick just one.

  726. Nancy says:

Love the card assortment from Greymount Paper & Press! Also the dryer balls from Clean Spyria – I have wool dryer balls but these are too pretty! Posted both to my Pinterest “Cool Stuff!” board.

  727. Gail says:

Oh boy! Christmas!! Put me hat in the ring!!

  728. the crystal necklace is gorgeous. seeds would work. Lee Valley has awesome stuff, embroidered linens……
It will take me til midnight on Wednesday to decide!!!

  729. Tracy says:

Man, I really love that geode necklace from Crafty Little Gnome. She had several other things I liked – but I sent that link to my husband! 🙂

I can wear it while I listen to audiobooks… 😉

  730. Caris Rubenzer says:

Those greeting cards by Greymount Paper and Press are adorable, I’m really hoping I win those!

  731. Sue says:

I’ve not heard of Lee Valley & Veritas before but I’m glad I have now. It was fun bouncing around their site. I would love to win their gift certificate. The dough whisks were what caught my attention but they have a lot to offer.

    • Karen says:

OH! Lee Valley is great! Subscribe to their newsletter on their site, it’s great as well and they never push their own products it’s all just good information (I know this because I write for their newsletter, lol) 🙂 ~ karen!

  732. Kay says:

Wow, would be really hard to choose! All of it is awesome.

  733. Lorna says:

So many wonderful choices, it will take me at least half a day to pick favourites. I mean rank them because I would be grateful for any giveaways to come my way. Thanks to you and your wonderful sponsors!

  734. Leslie Allyn says:

Wow, so much pretty!!! I love that you’re doing this – a win-win for everyone! I’m enjoying shopping around at all these sites.
I don’t expect that I’d win anything, but being an artist, I can’t take my eyes off the GrayMount cards and prints. So, here goes nothing – I’m putting my name in the hat. Thank you!

  735. Michelle says:

Hmmm…. can Never go wrong with Lee Valley, but the Geode necklaces are intriguing as is the micro fiber hair towel and the rough linen products and …

  736. Diane says:

    Fingers crossed!

  737. Jess says:

Seeds, seeds, seeds! Also cake stand. Food related items, yay!

  738. Maren says:

My favorites are the cake stand and the cards/stationery/art prints!

  739. Jennifer says:

I would love to win the cards and rough linen items, but truly, they are all gifts I would love to give or get. Thanks to you and your sponsors! Now, consider me entered!

  740. Heidi N. says:

I would choose the perfume and the wool dryer balls. Because I want to smell sexy while laundering dirty gym socks for a family of 6.

  741. Dagmar says:

    Dear Karen,

    Yes, I solemnly swear.
    And I truly do dare
    Admit that my hair
    Would love the Aquis
    Towel from Noelle.

    Then I would wear
    The cozy toe socks
    That Lee Valley stocks
    To ease me through
    The cold weather.

I think that was it, but
    That doesn’t seem so.
    Maybe the Crafty Little Gnome
    Would know? Of course,
    How could I forget: how
Can I fly without my silver wings yet?

    …a little poem by Dagmar (bunnymama) …here’s hoping there’s drama !!! ?

  742. Stefanie Barrett says:

Decisions, decisions. Since it’s the holidays and I should think of others, I would select the fabulous Greymount cards. I’m always sending cards to celebrate friends’ success or console as a result of their poor choices in men. But the truth of the matter is I want Christmas to be about me. The CraftyLittleNome’s amethyst geode is stunning.

I may be selfish but I can always repent. After all, that’s why we have Lent.

  743. Eva Chu says:

Pick ONE…. that’s like impossible. I’d grow who knows what craziness with the seeds of the month. Or like everything from Lee Valley… Or I could pretend to be a girl with the ellenoire….

  744. KellyM says:

    I would love to win so many of the items you are offering. But in the interest of not sounding like a greedy smurf – I’m going to pick indulgences from Ellenoire …… or maybe something from Crafty Little Gnome …… or ………. {sigh}
    Thanks.

  745. Laura says:

Anything (EVERYTHING !?!) from Lee Valley! I really like the stoneware bowls and the pro balance knives. My second choice would be a toss up between the gorgeous tea towels and anything from the Crafty Little Gnome, the little envelope locket is so cute.

  746. Trina Shook says:

Cool gifts! I would love the seeds and Ellenoire products!

  747. lori lofchick says:

what a great idea! I love it all, and would be ridiculously thrilled to win anything,, even a handshake 🙂
BUT if I had to choose,,,,
products from Ellenoire, or that groovy necklace, I don’t have a cake stand, so that would look lovely in my home 🙂
Thanks Karen, your and your blog are just so damn cool!

  748. Shel says:

I love the cake stand and would also choose the seeds, Ellenoire products and Lee Valley gift certificate. Most of the things on my wish list are from Lee Valley anyway!

  749. Cat says:

Rough linen set and lee valley gift cards! I can always always always find something at lee valley. Or seed of the month. That would be great too!

  750. Ann Brookens says:

Pick me! Pick me! It’s all great stuff and it would be hard to choose a favorite. I do really like that geodesic necklace, and Lee Valley has fabulous variety. The seed of the month club would be fun; the cards, etc are marvelous; the cake stand is beautiful…I love it all!

  751. sophie says:

    seeds please!!!

  752. Sherry in Alaska says:

They are all so lovely! Like a lot of others, I pick the Cattails Studio cake stand as my absolute favorite. However it would not be hard to love any of the others – even if I am number 5! Thanks, Karen, this is great. You have such good taste in sponsors! (Does flattery up my chances??? Har!!)

  753. Sue says:

Everything is wonderful…I especially love the dryer balls! Would get as many as I could afford and just place them in a beautiful bowl to admire!

  754. michaele anderson says:

OK, you lured me out of my usual bystander mode. I really enjoyed so many of your advertisers’ goodies. Loved the towels and found a nifty umbrella in the Lee’s catalogue that would improve my life. Great giveaway and best of luck to all.

  755. Tori says:

It is so hard to choose. I love all the wood things from Cattails woodwork and the rough linen, but the jewelry and seeds are hard to pass up!!!

  756. Jo-Anne Lennard says:

I would love to win something from the Crafty Little Gnome or Ellenoire or from rough Linen. Actually, anytjhing would be wonderful…they are all beautiful shops. so here is crossing my fingers that I win something11

  757. Ann L. says:

Wow, great gift ideas! Adore the cake stand, so versatile, for all kinds of “stuff” and I have been lusting for some Rough Linen since you showed us the pinafore!! Merry Christmas Karen, you ROCK!

  759. martina says:

Anything and everything from Lee Valley!

  760. Luanne says:

I’d be over the moon maybe even downright delirious to win something from any of your sponsors. Love Cubits and always give Laura an update on our garden when I see her at the One of a Kind Show.

  761. Leslie says:

If I was choosing for myself, I would selfishly go with Rough Linen and Cattails Studio but honestly, all of the gift give aways are amazing!

  762. Dagmar says:

Oh no, did I say there should be drama? I’m obviously a tired Bunnymama. I meant there shouldn’t be drama, or rather happy drama for those who win! Either way, blessings and good tidings to all. ?

  763. Kim says:

Pick me! Pick me! So many lovely things from which to choose. Thank you for introducing me to Crafty Little Gnome. Gorgeous stuff! And Cattails continues to impress me. Love the cake stand!

  764. Carla says:

I need those turquoise dryer balls for my life to be complete! And a walnut cutting board. And cake stand. And tea towels.

  765. Cynthia says:

Seed of the month! Seed of the month! And the Crafty Little Gnome!

  766. Jan in Waterdown says:

Holey moley! Is this a record number of replies or what?!
    I would like to win.
Please pick me and I will cherish you forever. For. Ever.

  767. Carey says:

I would love to have the cubits seeds and the cake stand and the rough linen.

  768. Kathy Salley says:

I can’t resist pretty jewelry, so the necklace for me, thank-you-very-much! Oh, and the walnut cake stand would be delightful…especially if it had that yummy looking cake on it!!

  769. Jaclyn says:

The cattails cake stand is the crowning jewel of this collection!

I’ve been day dreaming of a rough linen bed makeover since you first posted about rough linen. I covet Tricia’s work.

  770. Carla says:

It,all looks lovely- especially the cake stand!

  771. Bobbi says:

Everything is amazing. Pick me !!

  772. katie says:

Good to see some new spo sors this year, but love the returning cla

  773. Jeanette Smith says:

the cards (I’m a paper-lover) ! that little orange kitten looks just like the two that I am fostering right now, just turned 8 weeks old – one we have had almost from birth, and her sister a few weeks later. Yup, we have two orange gal-kitties!

  774. Loralee Johnson says:

So hard to choose. I would definitely go for the Lee Valley gift certificate as choice #1. The second would be a seed of the month subscription. I want to do some major gardening next summer. The second subscription would be for my friend Shawna. She has lots of room to grow on an acreage and loves spending her days in the dirt. I also wanted a cake stand from Cattails Studio and the set from Rough Linen. I have been meaning to replace our family stockings forever.

  775. Tina says:

What wonderful items. I love the towels from Diamond Dust Studios and the cards from GreyMount Paper & Press. Both of those sites will make Christmas shopping easy! I will definitely be shopping at LeeValley for Christmas and my wish list will include a Summer Blanket or Duvet from Rough Linen. Thank you for sharing gret ideas!

  776. Kelley says:

Tough choice, but I love the cake stand.

  777. Connie Holifield says:

Hi, Karen. I would choose the Lee Valley gift certificate. Besides browsing through their catalogs’ innovative products, I enjoy their newsletters. Discovered your website after reading about how to ferment chicken feed. Serendipity! Thank you.

  778. Carmen Greene says:

Wow, you have a lot of readers, Karen. I got a finger cramp scrolling all the way down here. I’d be happy with the cards, or the cake stand for the 3 layer coconut cake I’ll bake one day or the rough linen but probably the perfume so I don’t “stank”. Thanks for doing this!

  779. Pat M. says:

I have to have the Lee Valley Package, I mean, ” I would so appreciate winning the Lee Valley Package Maam”, I am the baking lady after all in lots of the families around here as well as the 4 grandgirls minds!! Seriously you are a riot, I enjoy your posts more than anyones! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas, give those chickens a kiss for me!!

  781. Alyssa says:

This is so exciting! I absolutely love the feeling of “The Season”. I have had my tree up for a week already in anticipation. I’d love too see the L’absolu frangrance under my tree, this year, to help cover my garden work stench that will definitely follow me around if I could get my hands on those Cubit’s seeds! I’d gift the other package to my friendly coworker who will be 50% responsible for the success rate of the first season to grow my own food! Thank you Karen and her sponsors for this wonderful gift to get the season on its way! *Tremors with joy and excitement*

  782. Natalie says:

I love the Diamond Dust Robot tea towel. It’s too lovely to use (but I’ve been known to hang tea towels on the wall . . .)

  783. Kathy Kearney says:

Well, truth be told, I went into everyone shop. They are all wonderful. I would love to win any one of them. I’ve been a potter for years and I love the way a finished glaze pot or item rolls around in my hands and the cake stand made by Cattails Studio has that same appeal to me. The design is perfectly balanced, and its very visually appealing with its smooth surface. I would use this cake stand for a lot more than a cake. Ok, now I really hope I win the cake stand.

  784. K. Walker says:

    Hey,

I love all kinds of crafty things and as you can see from my website I make 100% soy candles with essential oils. Very eco friendly and a naturally renewable resource.

You have so many wonderful prizes! All of them are one of a kind and quite beautiful. I am glad to have an opportunity to participate.

All the best for the Holiday Season and the New Year to everyone!

    K. Walker

What amazing gifts and generous sponsors! Anything would be lovely to win but if I had to choose two, the gifts from Lee Valley and Crafty Little Gnome would be my picks. Thank you!

  786. Deb says:

those cake stands are drool worthy, even though I could never bake a cake to do it justice (although it would elevate my cake’s status to be on one). I love the cards and seeds though, those I could really use. Awesome gift ideas. Deb

  787. Brenda says:

WOAH – so I am so far down at the bottom of the comments because I almost forgot why I was looking at all your amazing Giftmas catalogue sites … I’d love anything and I would give one of them away – do you hear that weirdo person picker machine – it would be very difficult but … I would

  788. Anne says:

What a wonderful selection. It has given me oodles of ideas. Thank you! Cubits? Lee Valley? Greymount Paper? Clean Sypria? Yes please! Something for everyone.

  789. Karen says:

Pick me, pick me, pick me… I never win anything. I should let my son write this-he’s the one with the horseshoe stuck…well, nevermind. I love that bowl and those whisks from Lee Valley since I make my own bread too. And the perfume. And the tea towels since mine are stained and gross. And pretty much everything else…

  790. Stephanie Harley says:

So many choices! Keeping my fingers crossed that I’m a winner!

  791. Brigette says:

This idea is so cool! I loved all the sponsored giveaway items but most of all the greeting cards. Sending snail mail to friends, family, and soldiers is one of my favorite hobbies.

  792. Karin says:

oh my, just in good time, thanks for your offerings, this is some nice merchandise you got there. and thanks for the explanation on when to submit to win, it sure can be confusion. me being from Germany i do miss my 24 hours once inna while :0B

those dryer balls are real nice. i stopped using sheets a while back, firstly out of monetary reasons but now i’m a firm believer they do more harm then good. so i would love me some balls *hehe*

  793. magali says:

oh my, hard decision! I think I would pick the cards (I love cards soooo much!!!) and the Lee Valley gift certificate. I just discovered we have one relatively close by. I was driving around an area I don’t usually go to and noticed it and got really excited because I knew what I could find in there thanks to you!
I like how you do this giveaway with your sponsors every year, the same ones we see year round. Your sponsors don’t feel like ads or other types of sponsorships because they are faithful to advertising on your site and it shows you like their products.

  794. Juana María says:

Since I won’t be allowed to get in the draft (because I take ir for granted that it will only be valid for Canada and the US), I let myself wish all those wonderful gifts. However, I must admit that the gorgeous wooden cake stand and those delicious cutting boards by Cattails are the items that make me more desperately want to live somewhere else on the planet. Sigh!

  795. Rachael Halling says:

Wow, I don’t know what I love more, the necklace, the cake stand, or the dryer balls! I browsed a little and would love it all!

  796. Ronda Johnson says:

ANY cake stand from Cattails Studio!!!! Beautiful 🙂

  797. Barb says:

Rough Linen would be at the top of my list and Cubits to share a gift with my nieces who both love to garden! But each site had wonderful items that would make the season bright! Thanks for running this contest, Karen.

I would LOVE to win the Cubit seed subscription. That would be a great gift to give my parents and of course for my self as well. Who doesn’t love a gift that keeps giving.

  802. Kathy Ryder says:

Everything is awesome, it’s hard to pick just one. I would definitely go for Cubit’s seed of the month. That would be perfect for my daughters and me.

  803. Debby says:

That necklace from Crafty Little Gnome is beautiful. But there’s only one left! Hurry!
She is in Bellingham, which is practically next door- a shorter drive than some of the suburbs of Vancouver.

  804. Sandra L. Wilson says:

I never put myself on the list! This time, there is too many wonderful gifts that I would like to receive, even if I give them to myself! Absolutely the cake stand, because I love my cutting board from you Brenda and with my baking addiction, that’s a must. I love love fragrance! A new one would be lovely. Another passion, antique kitchen embroidery towels.. I would say, all the gifts are more than wonderful, and its pure pleasure to know that any of them would be a gift to give or keep. I’ll be a little more blessed if I am a winner! Then I’ll have my chicken dinner!

  805. Kathleen Heckman says:

You are not kidding. There are so many beautiful things at these sites. I checked every single one out. Catttail Woodwork makes me swoon. Love the rolling pins, acorn items. Bed linens at Rough Linen seem so desirable. I also appreciate their bread bag for the kitchen. Curly Girl things from e. would suit my absolutely will not straighten head (well hair actually). The cards are fun and so generous, I definetely found some jewlery I like. I could not even look through all that Lee Valley has. Dryer balls, perfumes, seeds to share with my sis-so many choices.Decisions, decisions, decisions!! Thank you for this opportunity.

  806. That cake stand is to die for! Please tell me it comes with the cake 😉 Such a talented artist. Maybe you could just send me to be her shop helper. hehe

  807. Heather (mtl) says:

Close call! I was in the clinic with my treatment so I’m glad flopping in bed has been put to good use.
I’ve peeked at these links before and am drooling just as much this time around. I absolutely adore the linen duvet cover (terrified of jumping cat with claws, though) and the rolling pins (!), cake stands (!) are calling my name as is the perfume (I mix my musk, vanilla, jasmine and sandlewood oils drop by drop on my wrist daily). Oh, that ginger oil sounds divine. Such a soothe for my arthritis. So many wonderful choices! I’ve had the tin isicles you see at Lee Valley for close to 30 yrs. now. Each year I hang them, then count the 50 to place back in the tin-ha!
Thanks for the generous chance to win these gems – fingers crossed!

  808. Roma says:

Alas of all the things I want nothing more then the cake that the stand is on.
I would love to sit and stare at it for a bit before swiping my finger through the icing and indulging. It would be one of life’s truly selfish moments.

  809. Deborah Wixson says:

Thanks! So many cool things…I love big bowls and I cannot lie so I’d go for the cookery but Ellenoire’s products are so lovely. Great gift ideas!

  810. Margo Whitlock says:

Anything that Brenda does ( cake stands, cutting boards, coat racks, etc.) works for me.

    LOVE this cake stand!

  811. Jennifer says:

I’d pick the cubits seed of the month program (what a great idea!) and the Lee Valley certificate. I have an ongoing wish list at Lee Valley–with this I’d probably get the Gardener’s Shoes and then maybe another trug or two (you can never have too many!)

  812. Eve Geisler says:

Love the cake stand. Also the Lee valley certificate. But everything is so awesome!

  813. Colleen says:

Those seeds for my mom, definitely. My dad just finished her greenhouse this fall, so she’s ready to go!

  814. Jennifer says:

I’d go for the cake stand and the Lee Valley gift certificate. (Especially after you wrote we should “feel to browse” which I think means I need a special computer adapter… I just looked at the catalogue though. I’m sure it feels really nice too.)

  815. Eva Kovacs says:

Hello, I’ve seen this giveaway on the FB page of Brenda from Cattails Studio. Is it possible to participate in it even tough I live outside the US? It would be great. 🙂 I would choose the cake stand, of course. 🙂 And the gift certificate of Lee Valley.

  816. Laura Bee says:

Fabulous gifts! I love to share! FB, Tweeted & Pinned too. Great idea to spread to love with more winners. I’d love anything, but there’s a necklace from CraftyLittleGnome with a butterfly wing that would remind me of you whenever I wore it. And Lee Valley is full of things I didn’t know I needed. (I agree, the rasp is awesome!) The cake stand would probably be my other choice though. Gorgeous!

  817. Jacki says:

Like is an understatement….I’m in LOVE! The cakestands are just beautiful. Lee Valley has lots of cool and different stuff…especially some neat looking stuff for my grandsons. The Gnome jewelry shop is on etsy and I Love etsy….I’m for sure gonna check it out. Lotions? What woman doesn’t love lotions!?. Can’t wait to check out all of these websites more in depth.

  818. Christine says:

Lee Valley for sure. I can always find something I need from there.

  819. Laurie says:

Beautiful choices all! But if I had to pick … the cake stand speaks to me.

I NEED one of the Squirrel Buster Bird Feeders from Lee Valley! Wow, thanks for the great giveaway!

  821. Betty says:

Please save the Crafty Little Gnome or Lee Valley Tools for me! – all the others are great as a very close second choice.

  822. Mandy says:

You have such great taste, it’s all good…

  823. Michelle says:

The Cattails Cake stand.. Its just beautiful! What a slice of heaven to own.

  824. Stephanie says:

I would love both the seeds (my sister would love them, too, since I have already given some cubits seeds to her so she knows their fabulosity) and the jewelry. I want to be the kind of person who wears jewelry.

    thanks for the giveaway!!

  825. Lynda Alerding says:

It’s so… hard to choose! But since I am a baker, I would have to go with the cake stand by Brenda Watts.

What beautiful things. I’d love the cake stand from Cattails! Also love those dryer balls!

  830. Chris says:

Wow- how generous! Thank you so much.

I would be in heaven (and would have trouble giving it away) if I won the Cattails walnut cake stand, the Rough Linen stocking (with you – I love, love, love her duvet sets and am saving up for one) and really, almost anything on the list except perfumed products (serious scent allergy) and the dryer balls. Thanks again – I am the least lucky person in the world when it comes to winning things – and really hope I win.

Thanks again – and Happy American Thanksgiving – which my husband and I will celebrate tomorrow (he’s a dual).

  831. Deborah says:

I”m loving that Cattails Cake stand. I can imagine it piled with greenery, or with a cloche on top and moss inside.

What amazing sponsors you have. Even if I don’t win, I’ve “won” by finding these great resources. Thanks!

  832. Dee says:

It’s all so pretty! I go for the seeds ’cause I’m a crazy gardener, but the Lee valley stuff is so nice. And then there’s the jewelry! By the way your blog is my absolute favorite!

  833. Conrad says:

I could really use the rasp and whisks.

Loved looking at all the sites. Great sites for Christmas gifts for friends and family.

  836. Barb Hebert says:

Like everyone else, I want it all. But if I could pick two, I would pick the Cattails cake stand and the beautiful cards. I have two friends with chronic illnesses and I send them each a card every month. Theses cards would be perfect. I can envision the. Cattail cake stand becoming a family heirloom (which I would have to designate in my will so the kids wouldn’t fight over it!).

  837. Laurie says:

I’ve wanted some rough linen bedding for years, but this year I want all of my cards to come from greymount. How fantastically original ! ( and magically delicious? No? Just me?)

  838. Kathleen Kutz says:

Crystal pull knobs from Lee Valley just because I’ve always wanted them!

  839. Loquin says:

  840. Bonnie says:

The Claro Walnut Rolling Pin at Cattails Studio is stunning.

  841. Laurie says:

I have loved Lee Valley for years, but Rough Linen sounds amazing and I would love to see if her material is as nice as it sounds

  842. Janet says:

Karen, great gifts. I want one of everything. The geode necklace is fab and the seeds would work great in my earthbox, the cake stand makes me want to make a cake and the body lotions are to die for. Pick me, Pick me!

  843. Maegan says:

Eee!! I’ve been dying to touch some rough linen, that would be my first pick. Second would be a very tough choice indeed!

  844. Vera Derr says:

The Crafty little Gnome has a gorgeous Rose Crystal necklace I’d love!

  845. Maggie says:

    Love the fancy dryer balls!

  846. Helen Whaley says:

And thanks for throwing a prize giving spree!

  849. Arlie Singer says:

Great selections! Would love to feel that linen……

  850. SunGold says:

It’s a no-brainer for me: Lee Valley gift certificate and perfume. Who doesn’t want to smell like flowers and musk when chopping wood???

PS. Thanks for the clarification re: Wednesday midnight, but is that EST or PST? I’m in our westernmost part of our westernmost province.

  851. Barbara Walker says:
