You wanna know how I knew these were the right glasses to pick? It only took 2 shots to get a half decent photo of me in them. And that was just with my crappy laptop camera. Imagine the thing of beauty I would be with a little lighting and maybe a shot or two of Botox or Restylane.
Or bangs. Bangs are cheaper than Botox. Plus you can still move your forehead with bangs. Conversely, while Botox limits any movement of the forehead, it will almost guarantee you a role on Modern Family.
I went with the Holly frames. They weren’t my favourite glasses from the Lookmatic site, but they were the ones I knew would look the best on me. My favourites were actually the Uncle Leonard and the Jesse but they proved too large for my scientifically documented tiny head.
Yup. Toooo big. They were too darn big. On my head. I know this for a fact because I ordered them and physically tried them on. They were BIG. So I resolved to pack them up and send them back.
And then promptly didn’t.
What choice did I have but to keep the Jesse’s to see if they grew on me. Or shrunk on me. They didn’t shrink but I did grow to like them. So I kept em too.
They make me feel super-cool and studious all at the same time. What more could one want from a pair of glasses? I mean aside from x-ray vision. The other thing I like about the Jesse’s is the fact that they have a wide arm. They give the glasses more of an authentic “old man” feel. If you know what I mean you appreciate that fact. If you don’t know what I mean, trust me. It’s a good thing. The other thing I like about them is the silver thingamabob on either side of the frames.
Speaking of glasses, you’re probably wondering which among you won a pair. I’m getting to that. Right now as a matter of fact.
To claim your glasses just send me an email at email@example.com and I’ll get the ball rolling.
