The Only Things You’ll Ever Need to Get Anything off of Anything!

If one doesn’t work … try the other.  It’s really as simple as that.

**Please note, as of yet there is nothing I have found to get a chip off a shoulder, a monkey off a back, or dog poo off the tread of a new running shoe.

In General:

Goof Off for paint, dye, goo on clothing.  (Buy it in the paint remover aisle of hardware store)

Goo Gone for stickers on ceramic items, sticky stuff on most other things.  (Buy it at Dollar Store or hardware store in glue aisle)

  1. And for getting difficult stains out of fabrics, Carbona Stain Devils are the bomb! I once had an entire glass of red wine spilled down the front of a brand new ecru cotton knit sweater and I thought I was going to have to throw it away. I decided to try red wine Stain Devil just in case, and it worked like magic. I’m a convert forever.

Love your blog!! I’ve been laughing ever since I started reading, some handy “stuff” but are you really a comedian in “real life”? Have added your blog to my favs, life sucks sometime and I really love to laugh! I’d love to be handy and this is one of my MANY fantasies, that I can do shit like upholster furniture, replace drywall etc, etc, etc. In the meantime I’ll just keep reading about doing these things.

    • Karen says:

Hi Frances! Thanks for adding me as a fav! Wow. Pressure. In answer to your question, in real life I am not a comedian. I am a television host and a writer. Tap, tap … is this thing on?

SEE??? Such pressure I can’t even write a funny reply here. And THAT is why I couldn’t be a comedian. Once someone “expects” me to be funny all I can do is stare at them blankly wiping the spittle away from my chin.

Did you hear the one about the rabbi and the priest … oh nevermind.

  3. I love how it says “DANGER POISON” on it. Yum!

Somehow one bottle goes on forever, too. Only thing is it encourages me to collect MORE jam jars.

    • Karen says:

I had to go out and steal milk cartons from behind a variety store to hold all my jam jars! I do make jam though so it was justified.
