The World’s Greatest Windex Dispenser!

Not too long ago, I brought to you The Greatest Cleaning Dispenser in the Land! It was covered in sparkles and dazzling and when you touched it the angels sang.

What a piece of junk.

I mean, it was O.K. if you like breathtaking and beautiful and a direct connection to heaven.  But if you’re a badass who likes to get stuff done?  It probably isn’t for you.

I am one such a badass.  I wear black nail polish, I chop my own wood, I run with scissors.  I’m tough.

So I made ANOTHER cleaning dispenser that is more in keeping with my slightly less delicate sensibilities.

And you can find the newest incarnation of my cleaning Dispenser here, on the Loctite Repair Network.  I think you will be most impressed.

  1. theresa says:

wow! I am going to add Loctite to the tool chest! the knife repair was awesome and think the new dispenser snaps a vast improvement

  2. Barbie says:

You are a one of a kind my dear! Simply one of a kind! Good job!

  3. Pilar says:

    Great idea! Thank you Karen!

  4. shuckclod says:

It worked for me… Great dispenser and we know the chicken was not harmed in the video. :)

  5. Susan says:

Yet another great video. The new version of the dispenser looks great!

  6. Laura Bee says:

I had a boyfriend named Venom that had a studded belt or two like that. Lots of chains & longer hair than me. For my 17th birthday he made me fringed leather cuffs & gave me a stuffed Daffy Duck & a bottle of Crown Royal. Good memories.

  7. Marion says:

Love it! Much better than the bedazzled version! (Love the chicken cameo too!)

  8. Nancy Blue Moon says:

I am so amazed that you got one of the girls to help!!! lol

  9. Grammy says:

That is a cleaning dispenser I can get behind! The first one, with the pretty and colorful jewels, just seemed to me to be nice to look at but completely impractical. Your Rock Star Cleaning Dispenser looks like an actual tool to use for a purpose, as well as being yummy to look at.

Although I don’t have a Rock Star who needs (or wants) cleaning, I could use my dispenser for the purpose of cleaning things I actually have in my home. I would like to know where you keep your Rock Star, though…

  10. Kimberly says:

Love it! Also loved your nails after you worked with the knife. :-)

  11. Nicola says:

    Badass! Love it!

  12. Tres says:

Love it! Were you listening to Judas Priest when the inspiration hit?

  13. Marti says:

Hmmm, I have black toenails and plain, unpolished fingernails. Not sure if this applies to me and I’m probably far too lazy (hence the unpolished fingernails) to do anything but open the container and use it for making my own cleaning wipes. :) Of course, there’s that pack of baby wipes that I left in the car too long and they dried out. I’m guessing they’d be perfect for this. Just “add cleaning liquid” and I’m off. :)

Ohhhhhh! I wonder if I could write a blog about that? Uhhhhhh, probably not. Besides, who else is this lazy?

  14. Laurinda says:

Yay for sleeping late- the video is now working!

  15. Kasia says:

ha, that was a great laugh on a Monday morning — I like the passage of time clock and the “real life” knife usage!!! Hysterical! thanks Karen!

  16. Mary Werner says:

I watched it with no trouble! GREAT video. I contacted them to say thanks for having you and I would be making the dispenser and would use Loctite as I didn’t know of another glue that would work. Then I watched your salted tree post. Another winner! SO GLAD you blog!

  17. Kasia says:

The video appears to be working now — worked for me, no problem! :)

  18. Carolyn says:

I was able to watch both videos just now on my iPhone, so perhaps the issue is fixed?
Karen I love your badass cleaning dispenser!!!
In the cutlery video I love how you show the knife is fine but your manicure no longer is! Lol.

  19. jainegayer says:

I love the new dispenser with studs! Hmmmmm, now what else can I glue those little suckers to?

  20. Becci says:

I was able to click on your link and watch the video so they must have unprivatized (is that a word?) the video. Your project was, indeed, BA.

  21. Nanette says:

Your dispenser is bad-ass. The snaps at the top are perfect for opening and closing. Best of all I love the chicken!

  22. Nan Tee says:

Hey Karen, just watched both vids from my phone. Worked okay for me. Absolutely love the music in both. And your badass container. :)

  23. Anna says:

Worked for me straight from the site. I love it! It reminds me of my high school days when I could fit pencils through my earring holes and I spent my entire Subway paycheck at Hot Topic each week. I had a bracelet and a belt that looked exactly like your new badass dispenser…now if only my mother hadn’t given them to Goodwill when I wasn’t looking I could have made my own.

  24. Darlene says:

LOVE THE VIDEO!!!!!!!!!! Which of the girls was featured?

  25. Thera says:

    Yay not private!

  26. viveka says:

What would the world to without _ Tetra Pack …. Swedish!!!! My blue/yellow heart is very proud over this product.
Great to see how it can be re-used love the black on video – very creative. What a fantastic idea, never seen it before. I want one, but I don’t think I have the patience to make one myself.

  27. Tigersmom says:

It’s working! What a badass cleaning wipe dispenser! But we expect nothing less from a badass such as yourself.

That’s all I can manage as my head is reeling from the thought of BRUSH ON Loctite. Oh, the possibilities…..
I hope they sell it here in the US.

  28. Heather says:

And I used *to instead of *too so that can now niggle at me for the rest of the day because it is now published and I can’t fix it. Crap.

  29. Heather says:

That was awesome. You are to freakin’ funny. And your inner 80’s child is showing with your taste in decorating your cleaning box!

  30. KimC says:

Good morning Karen. Your awesome video is running now. I guess I have a bit of badass in me because this ”new” rocks! Much better than it’s heavenly prototype! It was nice to see one of your girls too:-)

  31. Elaine says:

What a fantastic idea. Loved the video. Very cool.

  32. Merrilee says:

Didn’t read any comments and went right to the link and it played fine! Love it!

  33. Jenny W says:

I Love It ! You do ROCK Karen! – We, your loyal followers, are use to seeing random chickens popping up on your blog. I was giggling, and wondering about the new Loctite viewers, though, and if they thought you were going to slaughter said chicken so you could clean up the mess ;) (It’s early here on the East Coast – forgive me)

  34. Rhonda SmartyPants says:

Well, poop. It feels like we were stood up!

  35. Christina says:

Love it! And love your top!! For me (I’m reading it on mobile) there are two videos, the first one says private and the second one shows you and the knife in all it’s glory! :)

    Ps: your poor manicure!!!

  36. Julia says:

Cannot believe those Loctite people aren’t at work yet. Lazy bunch. I’m up. Admittedly I’m still in pjs, having a coffee reading blogs.

  37. Hazel says:

I searched youtube for Loctite Uk and it’s the first video that comes up. Very funky!

But (now you’ve all gone to bed in disgust) it’s 06.30 in the UK, so hopefully Loctite will be checking emails and waking up tech-y web-type people very soon :)

  38. CJ says:

Had to watch it twice because I missed the ingenuity of the press studs the first time round. Ingenious.

  39. Raymonde says:

Now, I can get on the site but the video is private…:-(

    • Karen says:

Hi Raymone! I know. It’s some sort of issue with Loctite. Once their people wake up and check their emails I expect it will be straightened out. In the meantime thanks to astute reader Pam W, apparently you can click on the Youtube link right under the video and watch it directly from Youtube. ~ karen!

      • Karen says:

Oops, lol. or maybe not. I just tried and it said private there for me as well. :( ~ karen!

        • Pam W says:

You actually have to click on the You Tube link in the Cutlery Crisis video as the other one won’t work. That takes to you to You Tube where you can click on Loctite UK and all their videos comes up with the Rock Star Cleaning video at the top of the list.

      • Karen says:

Oh my lord. I did it wrong. To watch the video if it’s still “private” follow commenter Pam’s instructions to click on Youtube link on the “Fixing cutlery” video. Then click on the Loctite Repair Network site once you’re in Youtube. Phew! Or … just wait until morning and come back. I’m sure it’ll be working then. ~ karen!

  40. Pam W says:

Even though it shows as ‘private’ you can view the video on You Tube. I found it by clicking the You Tube link from the fixing cutlery video and then clicking on the Loctite UK channel. The Rock Star Cleaning video comes right up. And it’s awesome!

  41. Justin says:

I did love your super fancy “time passing” graphic in the other video- best laugh I had all day. Thanks Karen!

  42. Amber says:

Boo hiss Loctite! Get it going or I’m going back to Elmer!

  43. Noelle Smith says:

Ditto…. we need some KB Loctice love!!

  44. Lynn says:

  45. Grammy says:

Please convince Loctite that there are throngs of people across North America who want to see your video on their site! We will buy their product. Really! We just need to see how to use it, and that would be from watching videos you make showing us how to do it.

    Your minions await.

  46. Scouty says:

How many people gave told you the video is private… still?

  47. Tracy says:

The video says it is “private”… I wanted to see! ;)

  48. Kat says:

Wah, it says the video is private and won’t play. Waaaah.

    • Karen says:

LOL. Yeah. I see that. Sorry! It’s a Loctite issue on the Loctite network though so I can only advise them and hope they are able to fix it. :) ~karen!
