first Valentine’s Day of married life I come home from night classes to find one of those Russell Stover’s hearts and a bag of mulched paper. Weak smile on my part is greeted with BIG grin on his “See hearts and flowers!” “Oh it’s that wildflower seed stuff–good one.”

p.s. to my original comment–Holy smokes, I was just at the Rough Linen website, and this, indeed, can be a dress-like thing! Yay! So cute and hip and organic and artsy and just generally cool. Can’t wait to get one! And will NOT wait for Valentine’s Day. :-)

  10. Jennifer says:

I love my rough linen pinafore too ! If I have tools in the pockets and lean over the apron falls forward to the point of it almost flipping right off. I added ties midway down the back of it and it helps a ton!

  11. Katie C says:

Oh, a pinafore is an apron??! How did I miss this bit of general knowledge? I thought that was a jumper-like dress, and wanted it badly. An apron, I don’t need so much… But it sure is cute.

I have a bread bag from Rough Linen and love it. I want the apron too!

Oh good, another Valentines Day sans a significant other. Could be worse though – I could still be with the guy who bought me a bathroom scale for Valentines Day “because you said you needed one”. It is THIS incident that the famous massacre refers to FYI.
