If you think you know what some of these are, because you're smart, informed & you know stuff - I make a bet that you don't.

    Paper clips

    A live chipmunk

An apron made out of cotton balls

    A circa 1977 stereo speaker

Would you like to save this stuff?

We'll email you this post, so you can refer to it later.

    Brussells Sprouts

just a gal who has completely abandoned trying to please google in favour of trying to to please you. I hope it made you laugh & took you a tiny bit by surprise.

So as long as it's not a '77 stereo, it is?

Have to disagree about the brussel sprouts, one of my favorites. But then again, I'm already an "old fart"! ;-)

Could I get the pattern for the apron anyway?

Good to wake up to you this morning. Was distracted by your snazzy new look. (heart emoji/rolled eyes because I can't find emoji button) Hope your batteries are recharged, Philip has a new 'do' and all your dahlias are ready to go in your garden.
      Peace

You just reminded me that I haven't checked my dahlia tubers since before Christmas! I'm going to do that immediately. I'm using a new method this year for storing them.🤞 ~ karen!

For the record, I would happily consume items one through four before I ever wrapped my lips around a brussells sprout. Finally, someone else who sees the demon fart orbs for what they truly are.

Gave chipmunks up a long time ago - they scream too much! I was surprised to see your post and did enjoy the moment! You are the best!

Baby squirrels and baby rabbits scream too. One of the neighbors cats was a sadistic critter. Sounded like a baby screaming. Traumatized mom's pacifist cat. He was so horrified. I'm sure the lil critters were traumatized too of course. Not for long though. He liked the ones that didn't even have fur yet. Ugh.

Oh, thank heavens you posted this life-saving information, for just this evening…by complete mistake, I consumed a chipmunk. But lucky for me, it was dead! (Lucky for it, too, I suppose.) According to your well-researched list, eating a LIVE chipmunk could have been fatal. For me and the cute rodent. Thank you so much for your kind-hearted public-service announcement.

I'm so glad you're well. Remember to always tape your mouth shut while sleeping *just in case* a chipmunk wanders into your bedroom. They're known to run right into the nearest open mouth and then you're done for. ~ karen!

(SFX: head exploding.) Once again, you dole out sage advice. I was taping my mouth shut during the day and removing the tape at bedtime. Duh, Mike! For the sake of humanity and a better world, let go of the decorating, gardening, how-to projects, critter interests, and what not. And focus on sitting atop a Canadian mountain…cross-legged and wearing a fancy-dancy robe, where you’ll use your thought-Sherpa talent to share spoken-word directives to those who climb that mountain to seek you out.

You made me laugh. It's sad that every good blogger now has to pay homage to the algorithm god. No matter what, please reassure your faithful readers you will continue to write. I will gladly pay money for your words of wisdom (I'm not being sarcastic).

Hah! I'm torn between which is worse...the cotton ball apron or the Brussels sprouts. At least the apron wouldn't give me gas.

When you are looking for new topics, will you please do a review of your Gozney oven. Did you get the wood only version, or the combo with gas? Did you get the door and steam attachment? How big is the learning curve? Have you cooked things other than pizza? Etc.
        Thanks

Will do! I can tell you that the door is pretty but utterly useless in terms of keeping the oven warm because the door has no insulating whatsoever. Other than that the Gozney Dome has been great. I'll add it to my list of summer posts! ~ karen
