The Last Little Bouquet of Flowers

A final fistful of coral, lemon/lime, salmon, and pink celosias from the garden. Say goodbye to floral bouquets as we get ready to make way for evergreen boughs and gift giving anxiety.

Small mound of very bright celosia in a copper coloured ceramic vase.

That's it. Take it all in because this is where we say good bye to the home grown flowers this year. Up next are the evergreens, followed by amaryllis, (did you remembered to save, dig up and chill them?) paperwhites, a bit of a bleak period from January to February, then the yay-it's-March celebratory tulips before we start the cycle of home grown flowers again.

The lemon/lime ones are Limonata from the Floret seeds I planted in the spring. . All the cockscomb celosia are Floret Originals Coral Reef. In the back is a small row of the orange amaranth, Hot Biscuits.

    Let's do a Puzzle

    Puzzle Tips

CLICK THE 3 DOTS ON THE UPPER RIGHT OF THE PUZZLE. Then click "CHANGE NUMBER OF PUZZLE PIECES". You'll be able to select however many pieces you want up to over 200 pieces.

Would you like to save this stuff?

We'll email you this post, so you can refer to it later.

To make the puzzle as reliable as possible:

    1. Sign up for a Jigidi account and sign in before you do the puzzle. This will automatically save your puzzle for you so you don't lose it if you walk away from it for too long.
    2. Hold your phone or tablet horizontally, not vertically.

I still haven't built my stairs off of the deck by the way. They really aren't safe so I'm considering knocking the rickety stairs down and putting a little springboard in place.

    Safety first.

    Have a good weekend.

My husband just brought in these final lovelies from our hanging baskets (in the garage in Northern Colorado).

I also still have flowers in the garden. I am so numb after watching my country commit suicide that I hadn't noticed. I need flowers right now. Thank you.

That sums it up. No words, just grief.

What a beautiful bouquet! You have the eye, for sure. And a bonus - the puzzle of said beautiful bouquet. Thank you and let the evergreen boughs begin!

I can see you - jumping up to get to your kitchen and I WAS drinking my coffee which is now on my shirt. It just came out of nowhere similar to my coffee. My favorite type of humour is when it hits you unexpected and quick.

Or replace your stairs with a ramp. Who among us is getting younger, including Philip. A railing and a HeatTrak mat are also necessities. In fact, if you have a level surface, Philip will thank you forever with a HeatTrak doormat. Dogs (and possibly his human) can’t cross them without taking a nap. Just a suggestion! Extra cold this AM. Our Celsius bit the dust in October. Broken branch Mums bouquet is all that’s left here.

From the very first Karen puzzle I completed I've been near addicted to Jigidi. I can honestly state that I'm on the website daily as a fun mind exercise. This puzzle was also fun and challenging. I've no doubt that were my color acuity better they be even easier to solve -lol Your floral display is quite artistic as always. You have a great 'eye'.
