    A LIVE Eggnog Making Demonstration

Watch as I make eggnog live for the very first time! My Christmas video gift to you - as an added bonus & one time offer, I do this while still feverish and suffering from COVID.

Me tasting hot eggnog on the screen of a viewers laptop.

Nothing can make an already queasy stomach gurgle like the thought of hot dairy. I found that life tip out last evening.

Last night at 9 p.m. I held a live Facebook video open to everyone who bought the Advent Calendar.

The Day 6 door was getting the recipe for eggnog and then watching me make it for the first time ever.

Some calendar buyers made eggnog live, along with me.

The eggnog whips into shape really quickly!

You could start and finish it in less than 15 minutes. What really takes time is cooling it down.

Half an hour into my live video demonstration, when the eggnog was cooked and completed, I realized I'd have to sit around for another 3 hours for my eggnog to be fully cooled.

I mean, it wasn't high but I still had a fever so I was willing to do just about anything to ensure I could end this fever dream madness of doing a Facebook live video on making eggnog while sick with COVID.

Would you like to save this stuff?

We'll email you this post, so you can refer to it later.

    Even drink hot eggy dairy.

This is the live video in its 100% unfiltered glory.

You can still buy the Advent Calendar

You don't lose out on anything by buying it now - you GAIN that childlike thrill of opening 7 doors all in a row.

You're a skeptic. I get it. I would be too. Here are some of the latest reviews.

The rest of the reviews can be seen at the bottom of the sales page.

    Ok this is fun!

Ok. I was a little bit skeptical but everything is a little or a lot tongue in cheek which I find amusing. Day 1 was just hilarious!
    Best $12 I’ve spent

By Yvonne on December 3, 2022

I haven’t had an advent calendar since I was little, so when I saw Karen’s calendar (for only $12!) I had to buy. First day made me laugh, today’s made me think…I can’t wait until tomorrow!
    Totally worth it

By Maran on December 5, 2022

Ok. I had my doubts. But I’m looking forward to every single day opening one of the little doors. So money well spent and if Karen makes another one of these next year I’m in!
The best $12 I have spent this holiday season

By Tres on December 3, 2022

I remember the excitement in opening the little doors on the advent calendar as a kid. Let me tell you, the stuff behind these doors is way better than a piece candy. Do not hesitate to get yourself a little something this year.
    So fun

By Deb from Maryland on December 5, 2022

Oh my gosh! This is not your typical Advent Calendar and thank goodness. The first day blew me away. I can't wait for each day to see what Karen's unconventional mind has come up with for each door. The anticipation is unrivaled. So much better than a piece of chocolate! lol
    Makes me smile! :-)

By Julia on December 2, 2022

Two days in and I know I’m in for a great ride. Somehow Google directed me to Karen and her blog to learn how to make the best fire 🔥 ever (I can start one damn good fire now - thanks Karen!) and now I’m looking forward each day to opening a little virtual door to see what awaits me there. We never do know where a click of a button will lead us. Peace everyone and enjoy!

I needed a "Karen" fix before my first bedtime of 2023 so I fired up this eggnog vid. It was delightful to be there live and it remains a delight in the second viewing. If you really want a taste bud life changing experience, substitute vanilla paste for the liquid version in recipes. It will make you a believer -lol All the best as we begin to write in the 365 page blank book of our 2023 life and fill it in page by page with the events as they unfold. May the happy times outweigh the somber for us all.

Finally getting around to watching your presentation. Priceless! I needed a good laugh after listening to a friend as she stood on the ledge. Fortunately she did not jump and made it to bed in fine shape. So sorry you are under the weather and not up to par. Imagine how great your next presentation will really be when you are in tip top shape.

It'll probably be less entertaining, lol. I think sick Karen is funnier than healthy Karen.😆 ~ karen!

I was doing other things at the time of the “live” eggnog demo, I will try and rearrange my life as to not miss any more. I don’t even like eggnog but may need to make this after having watched you. BTW I also love Mexican Vanilla! I buy it in the jumbo size. Feel better soon, Covid is miserable. I also just had it. So much for fully vaxed and boosted.Did you share the eggnog with Philip? Before adding large quantities of brandy of course.

Yes! In fact, it tickled my funny bone so much, I watched it twice!
I do hope you're feeling better though!

Your video is hilarious! I don't think it was because you are sick with fever, you are just funny normally! I enjoyed. No, you don't need to cook the vanilla. Recipes generally tell you to add it at the end when your item is off the heat. I do hope you feel better. I don't care for milk, so I don't like eggnog or boiled custard (it's a Southern thing).

I'm lucky enough to have my dear friend's (since kindergarten!) mother's egg nog recipe. Billowy creamy clouds of meringue would overflow their enormous silver punch bowl sitting on the bar at their annual kids Christmas party. It was always the star of the show, a gorgeous sight, and a favorite memory. Happy that I can add the rum now...I love Captain Morgan's with the touch of spice, or Kraken. Cheers, Karen!

Lip is still more entertaining than comforting at this point in our relationship. I don't think he's ever going to be cuddly. He gets hot if it's warmer than a fridge crisper. ~ karen!
