A Photo of my Soul (For the Puzzle People)

Enjoy your weekend by relaxing & putting my soul back together, piece by piece. I have a fairly colourful soul.

They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. The people who say that are archaic, romanticizing charlatans out to steal your money.

The real window to your soul is only visible through palm reading & tarot cards.

And if all else fails (pedestrian things like interrogation or diary reading) your best shot at getting to know a person quickly - is by looking at their bookshelves.

Since we've been on a bit of a book binge the past few weeks (with my recommended fiction books for March and this week my most useful gardening books) I stuck with the theme for this week's puzzle.

I grabbed the books off of the wraparound bookshelves I built in my dining room at random based on size and colour. Whatever I needed to make the stack work for a half decent photo.

Taking a look at the finished photo of books I realized this is a pretty good cross section of my soul. It is all anyone needs to know about me. All starting with my Pizza Bible at the very top of the stack.

Looking at this stack of books for 4 minutes is all a Psychiatrist would need to completely evaluate and diagnose me with anything.

    The 81 Piece Puzzle

    Because:

Would you like to save this stuff?

We'll email you this post, so you can refer to it later.

An 82-piece puzzle is just too tough,

81 pieces though, is just enough.

One piece less makes all the difference,

Completed with ease and no raging occurrence.

I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get my Palmistry Made Easy book in the photo, but it just wasn't in the cards.

Have a good weekend and a bit of advice -

Get 1 or 2 little, spring jobs done this weekend.

If you continue to do that all spring, by the start of summer you'll have exhausted all your ambition & will be able to relax for 3 or 4 months.

I enjoy your contents and humor and wisdom. I also look forward to working the puzzles. I did finish the window to the soul puzzle and did not LOOK at the titles. I'm guessing those are books you recommend - not random titles. If this is the case can you show us the titles without the big green box on top so we can check them out. Thank you - Happy Spring. If the answer is NO then I'll rework the puzzle and take a photo of it.

Hi Cara! They're just random books from my shelf. Not necessarily recommended. :) ~ karen!

Bugger! It reset just before I finished! Are your puzzles on a timer that automatically resets whether you’ve finished the puzzle or not? Can I find you on jigidi?

I believe the ads trigger it. I just immediately restart and continue.

Irresistible! A jigsaw and guess the title game all in one! The spring jobs were abandoned, briefly. Luckily I had already evicted the possum from the hen house before seeing this.

It’s alway fun peeking at someone else’s books. I have read or would like to read most of this stack. Apart from the gardening books. Here in the desert I may as well hand over my plant $$$ directly to the critters. Who would no doubt eat that too.

Well it seems to me then you should start eating the critters. ~ karen!

I'm normally a shape gal but this time the colors did it for me. Great fun. Now back to my very needy seedlings.

I'd say, you're my kind of people; but the truth is you're the kind of person I aspire to be. ;)

I especially love this puzzle because of all of the color. Reminds me of the Christmas ornament puzzle which was great fun too. Thanks for sharing it here.

The jigsaw pieces found their place
With not a frown upon my face
They seemed to know just where to land
As surely they did guide my hand

Gods give me the strength to rake away the stray leaves that are smothering my up-and-coming tulips.
I can see the leaves. I can see the green. I can corral the children to help. Yes, yes...it's all coming together now.........
