Welcome to the first in what may become a video series.
So many times I think to myself, I wonder if everyone else knows this. And then I continue on with my day.
Last night, as I wondered if you knew something I thought I'M GOING TO SHOOT A QUICK VIDEO IN MY PAJAMAS WITH NO MICROPHONE.
If these 1 minute or so video posts are well received EVERY TIME I think to myself "I wonder if everyone else knows this" I will do an equally unprofessional but informative video for you.

(A lot of people have mentioned they don't see the video or can't get it to play. If that's the case with you, you can try one of 3 things.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Make sure Cookies are enabled for my site.
- Remove adblocker for my site.

I can't see a video on this page at all.
I'm using Firefox, and I just set it to enable cookies and disable Adblocker Ultimate for your site (and nobody else earns that honor!). Unfortunately, when I reloaded the page, there was still no video to be seen.
I then closed the browser and relaunched it, but I still don't see anything videoesque.
I run my machine in dark screen mode, but I don't think that's the problem. On all other sites, I can always fish around in dark screen open waters and watch the arrow-shaped cursor change into the pointyfingery thing. But it doesn't.
The video wasn't showing up for some people because of a cacheing issue. So I cleared the cache of my site. It *should* be fine for you to view it. Did you clear your cache after turning of ad blocker? ~ k!
I did. I used Ccleaner to clear my cache the day before I first read this page, so it was really, really cleared ... oy vey, was there a lot in the cache ... then I ran Ccleaner twice more, so there was no eentsy-beentsy vestigial cache at all. I wouldn't care about one video or anything, but I do care that I can't watch your other vids either.
And thank you for everything, Karen. Life is ... just a tad ungracious ... and then we visit your website and see your mind at work and we see all you do for us, and it ... is. It's real keen that you show us how to do stuff and all, but it's well and truly wonderful that you show us your personal drive, inner steel, and your capacity to have fun and to enjoy life while you work.
Do you have any idea how much good you do people? A real lot. Please always be mindful of that truth.

So - I just turned off adblocker for your site. Because that's how much you mean to me. Um, Meant? I mean - I turned it off and then....when I try to scroll down from your own video, some ad for Tampons comes on...and, I cannot turn it Off. I try - and I try - I mean - I Know what the pause button is and so on...but it won't Let me. THIS is why, I have adblock. I'm willing to Try with or for you, for awhile, but if the ad-people keep doing this, well then, No - I will then again turn off ads. Plus, No matter how you make your living - I cannot watch or follow or scroll along with images that are shifting, blinking and otherwise.
Yea. Not a great start. But seriously K. - I loved your video here. Not Just because you were a bit loopy with fever - although that Was Something! just sayin', but also because you had so many little things to help and add and, oh plum hell, just too funny asides and anecdotes:
'debutante ice'/ 'only losers use preground' (nutmeg)/"I said what you say...which is NO." (I have no idea where the j-cloth went....). Thanks for that little bit of the 'fella' btw. (only losers pretend there wasn't one and it gives your long-time readers a bit of a sense of you as a person in Long-time. If that makes Any sense at all.)
I just loved Everything about this video. But I'm afraid you thought or think that maybe it was 'just because you were feverish'. I haven't checked to see if you've made more - I hope you have - but whatever - I would encourage you to Make More. Not feverish hopefully.

My cookies aren't blocked and I still can't see video...very disappointing.
I somehow read "cooties," rather than "cookies," lol. Cookies make more sense, cooties is funnier. 😆
